I'm using tap water and in my case it was 1 teaspoon of baking soda for this 30 L of water. For a while I also had to feed the snails with calcium tablets

    Cinnamon bark? Like... what kind of cinnamon can you use? Just regular sticks? Or is this specific?

      as far as I know you can use all of them, just remeber to boil them for about 15 minutes before use.

    Can anyone share the species of snail at :03 seconds?

      The one before 3 seconds is a Malaysian trumpet snail the one after 3 seconds is a yellow rabbit snail from sulawesi.

    Funny.... Now I like doing water changes... (dripping back in takes more time, but oh well)

    • @MarksShrimpTanks

      if your new water isnt to far off the original tank water it probably doesnt matter about dripping, The other Mark on TH-cam that breeds bazzilions of neos I dont think he drips at all.

    • @2869may

      @@MarksShrimpTanks I say "drip" but it's a decent flow through airline tubing.
      (5 gallons = 20 minutes)
      I don't mind, I have a a pretty good system worked out.

    I am confused. I get some people say less frequent to do water change like a month or so and each change is less than 10% of water change. Shrimps like to have consistent water parameters. I guess there is no standard?

    • @MarksShrimpTanks
      @MarksShrimpTanks  ปีที่แล้ว

      different water parameters mean people will get different results, google mark shelly aquatics and see how many neos he breeds I use the same method as him.

      Hello Kova, Your gH is far to low. you need to get it up nearer a 6. you can do this with buffers and a tds pen or you can maybe add some crushed coral to the tank that would help?
