The petty comments are from petty people. You are a wellspring of great knowledge to me..Thank you! I have saved pocket change for the last 12 yrs..and have found some nice ones. Just a bit overwhelmed with going through them all and trying to find the time with working so much. Your my "Go To" guy for info, so i appeciate your dedication. I will send you some pics of my finds in near future if you are interested. Have a blessed 2021!
Shaun, I’m an avid coin collector and coin roll hunter. I just bought a suitcase full of older comic ( 60s, 70s and 80s) and pulled out the few that I liked. I’d like to send you a few for Xmas. What address should I use? Joseph Ference…. Btw…. I paid 100 bucks for probably 75 comics.
Hay brother where you been the last couple of days, miss your wisdom; I have learned a lot from you. The coins I sent I've seen a hundred times, that's for your viewers. You are the only coin show on TH-cam that I watch because of your knowledge, thank you for your insight. Hope your feeling better brother.
No need to worry about the haters. I suffer from the allergies myself. The simple and inexpensive way to treat it is a high multivitamin and water works wonders. I appreciate your videos I binge watch at night lol
Allergies are the pits, and I’m from Texas so.... bless your heart BR. Love the hobo nickel, so cool! Could you share some knowledge on the ‘39, 40’s, & 41 nickel with 40 reverse? Love your videos, keep up the good work and thank you sir!
great show love your view point i think alot of youtube channels give false prices to coins just cause a coin sold for a certain price doesnt mean your coin will PS canada is with you respect
I have severe hay fever; have since a small tot. No person should be telling anyone with hay fever to blow their nose or any such slights, period. That is just RUDE. I am on the West coast as well and live in a valley where pollen can kill people and does every year. Your voice sounds great! I don't think I could be as graceful and kind as you are being if I were getting rude remarks from viewers. Thank You!!!!
Love your information videos been a collector for 55 years first collection was stollen I started again in 2016 thanks for encourage you have helped me regain my passion for collecting James parry
Hi Shaun! I’d appreciate your advice and expertise so my Question for you please? My mom purchased 5 Indian headed nickels as a birthday present for me🙂 only 2 have somewhat visible dates the other 3 don’t. What process would you recommend using to retrieve those dates that won’t devalue the coin?
no need to apologize. you still have one of the most informative channels. I like you and 'Numisman' the best for NEW information and your voice didn't bother me. you always sound about the same. btw...I am 62 and sold all my silver age comics...the Silver Age ended in 1969. it is bronze after that. I still have about 10 Silver DC Kirbys and a full box of underground comix. I got tired about fighting over 'media mail'. I switched to coins when the comics ran out. when R Crumb dies, the comix will go up in value. .
Nice comic book....when I got out of the military back in 1981, I found out that my mom had tossed out my whole comic book collection while I was jumping out of airplanes with a machine-gun. 10 solid years of collecting old comics when I was young...her defense? "well, honey...they were all old any way"....thanks mom. 'KennyMac 3rd Platoon, C-Company, 2nd/508th, 82nd Airborne Division, Ft. Bragg, N.C. '78-'81 (what does this have to do with coins?...not a damn thing, I'm still mad about those comic books)
@@BlueRidgeSilverhoundthanks blue, well i found a couple ladder 1$ bills today, lol some 1$ star notes but nothing rare , and some 666 at the beginning of SN&,few 222s if they even considered to be fancy... BLUERIDGE, BEFORE I START I MUST SAY IT IS GREAT TO HAVE YOU BACK WITH US, SORRY TO KNOW YOU HAVE NOT BEEN FEELING WELL BUT I WISH YOU A SPEEDY RECOVERY AND BACK ON TOP FORM AS QUICK AS POSSIBLE! I THINK YOU DONE A COOL JOB BITH THE BACK DROP, I AM LOVING THE COPPER ORE AND THAT $50. WHAT INCREDIBLE COINS, SOME ARE ABSOLUTELY STUNNING AND YOU TAUGHT ME A FEW MORE THINGS I DIDNT KNOW OR WASNT QUITE SURE ABOUT AS IM FROM LONDON U.K. BUT ALWAYS HAVE LOVED YOUR COINS SO THANKS FOR THIS YET AGAIN GREAT VIDEO, IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT. SEE YOU IN THE NEXT VIDEO GOD WILLING. PEACE OUT!
Hey brother. Don't worry about negative comments. People always gonna have something dislike to say to someone doing or know more than what they didn't or can't do. HATERS. BUT ITS GOOD TO HAVE THEM AROUND. They let you know that you are someone doing something that's popping. You a star. Keep doing it. It's very helpful. And people have a choice to veiw or listen. Thanks for people like you. And i got some real genuine finds that i need to show and get more advice from. Im Keith. Check my collection out if you interested.
I sound the same way due to sinuses, my ears plug up too. The heavy spraying in the skies is definitely making it worse, so I got a steam inhaler recently and will let you know how it works so you might try it... I never leave home with out tissues to blow my nose... I'm miserable too so I know how you feel seriously!
Wanted to leave a update about the steam inhaler. It works great and relieves the hard sinuses that can cause the headaches and pressure that only steam can release. I paid $20 for Vicks brand from Amazon...works great.
Allergies are from the Western cedar. I got em, too. BlueRidge, the people who have a problem with your allergies/breathing are watching you but not truly listening. Your content is just AWESOME, dare I say invaluable. I also want to add that those who have a problem with another person's ailment (that said person can't control) can go pound sand.
Over the years you have done some pretty amazing videos. I thought this one was one of the top ones. My sons would rather that I buy errors/variety coins then the ones I love. They will be passed down to them so I'm trying to get into it more. Thanks to Scott Holliday for sending you these coins to make this video. I have watched your videos long enough to know that the allergies are here and I'm so used to you having them. I also suffer from them too. I know they wear you down and make you feel miserable but you keep going. God Bless you! An amazing video.
Watching again for a 3rd or more times since this came out. Love the video and how nice of your friend to share coins like these and you to share the knowledge. Is there any 1 book you would recommend for error coins ? Thanks again Sherry in Seatac Wa
Oh also ...we moved like 3 times in the last year or so so some of our stuff is still packed up but I ran across a medium sized box that is slap full of old Comic books. Will have to go through them to see what I may have. I also have two computers that may be worth some serious cash. A "portable" Tandy, Radio Shack one from the early 80's and another one that takes floppies! Dated somewhere in the early 80's also. Looks like something you would see on Lost in Space! Both still work.
I hope you get this as it's an old video. I really enjoy your informative videos, Thank you so much. From one severe allergy sufferer to another, sniff on brother. Your comittment to the craft of collecting KUDOS. I recently inherited some old coins and this has helped me understand what I have.
Back in 1980 I used to buy x-men comics in Germany, they had the triangle on the top with the barcode on the bottom with a line through it, the only way to tell if it is a military bought comic Is if on the back it has a red star stamped on it. 😁
Great video. Also bonus points to you for that X-Men comic. First appearance of Dazzler. Classic. (Don’t forget about the Dazzler #1 with the color printing error!) I like the additional eye candy!! 👍
Burdette Burr - Dazzler #1 has a printing error on pages #24 and #25 where somehow there was NO color printing. Marvel Comics did not catch this error when it was released. Not every copy has this. But the ones that do are prized by collectors.
I have a weird penny that I would like to show you if I could? It is a 1982 D lamentation error on the date. It weighs 3.12 grams. Hard to tell if it is small date or large due to the lamentation on the date and mint mark.
We were hoping you let us know how much the Nickel that was a Flip-over strike through cost... you never said. I wanted to know because I personally have a penny that is suffering the same effects. Though I've looked far and wide, I have yet to find out how much coins like this go for. I wanted to post it on ebay, but won't because I'm not certain as to the price and don't want to get ripped off. The video was fine though, so keep up the excellent work my friend and much luck to you.
Night before last I went to bed and a little later, almost asleep I feel something in my mouth. Thought it was a piece of popcorn I had eaten earlier. Really hate how popcorn gets stuck but even brushing sometimes can't get it unstuck! Anyway I reach in , grab it and put it on the nightstand. Next day I go to get my glasses and I see this thing. It was my GOLD crown!! Weighed it....2.5 grams. Props are good. Will probably cost me a $1000 to get fixed though😣
I would do a back flip for a hobo coin but i just don’t see it happening, any way if it did that would really be a sight to see since I’m 60 years old! Lol
I have a nickel that I believe has had a lot of grease on it when it was struck and the face is almost gone but you can see the date and on the back it's also almost gone
I found penny year 1976 and a bell figure on top of the date with 1776 on it and on top of the word liberty written a 200 year is this worth something I took a picture of it I’ll send it too
I have a Beatles the yellow submarine in pretty good shape it dont have the poster but like I said it's in pretty good shape I have a few daredevil 8 or the man with no fear then
