It's sad when we realize how much aging sucks, especially when it comes to the inevitable retirement of some (or all) of our favorite hosts like the former Top Gear trio and the 'Fantastic Four' of Fifth Gear.
"He's off his head" is why they all like the man. Plato and the older nutter are a perfect pair. The show is made by the team, their personalities and the banter.
Fifth gear was imho always better than top gear because the hosts had actual crazy good car handling skills. Top gear is OK, but all the hosts are basically average drivers.
Why oh why do they have a talking head interrupting the reports every five seconds? It's why I stopped watching Fifth Gear, it's so distracting. Just get on with the main report and stop interrupting it with pointless commentaries!! We can see what's happening, we don't have to be told. "We did this, then we did that, then this happened!" No shit!!!
I'd be OK with a whole season of just team tests :D It's my favourite part of the show, they look like they're having so much fun!
