The flounder tc game against sayo has to be the most intense game ive ever seen. i watched it live and i was on the edge of my seat the whole game, because right when you thought the lead might be enough to win the game the other team got an insane push to get it back, wild set vs sayo and i cant wait to see the future of last resort!

I'm beating a dead horse here but, crab tank and snipers, ( I am a splatter scope main) are far too dominant for these map layouts. Even I hate eliter because I do not use that weapon and I can't find my self around it with the splatterscope like the first Two games. It's really annoying that there isn't enough cover or flank routes to get to them. But anyway you did a great job competing.
Yeah, they need to address the maps in this game, because having long range is just too broken on a lot of them.
I mean, E Liter on Brinewater Springs is actually cheating, you can literally shoot into their spawn area from your spawn area, it's not ok.

@@ProChara also the charger I’m trying to main is gootuber, but since chargers are hard to learn I literally cried because I was used to using rollers
this is a great result for you guys, especially with the weapons you run too it always makes your team interesting to watch

You team lost because of the Dual Crab Meta, which is kind of frustrating for me (Personally). I really hope they patch it so we can have a little more diversity in the future, watching 4 splashomatics almost in every game is very tiring. I feel your team deserved to win.
i dont think he said they lost to dual crab in his own review of their run 🤔 especially since last resort runs dual crab at times
They didn’t lose cause of double crab meta. Everyone knows it’s crab meta and can either run it or try to counter it. They tried to counter it and it didn’t fully work out for them. Blaming the meta is almost never it. Especially when there is always room to improve cause no one is perfect at this game.

your callouts are good when you're not tunneling on the objective fighting two people everyone can see filling your comms with the location of two players who are on the objective
it feels like you're missing out on info from your team to make openings rather then having to swing around and expose your position / trade the special you just earned to get that information yourself.
you have the skill to play extremely well so its sad to see you lose matches you could have won playing a weapon with a better kit for the situation, you could probably be removing these crab tanks with a 2/3 of an inkstrike special or ink missiles or at least forcing them off of their ledge instead of trading with zipcaster. The zipcaster takes you almost as long to get over to the crab as the crab special takes to be effective, so even if you don't trade you're trading your special move to remove up to half of their special move after its already been effective
cjr on brinewater felt like a really bizarre choice, nobody needs to be near the zone to paint it, lots of open visible sightlines, and there is so much space to backup on the ramp and both sides to avoid or clear some area to avoid the wavebreaker. 1hko bombs and burst bombs feel a lot more useful then torpedos for pressuring players on the ramp
honestly if you had stuck to zip there despite being open there are some o.k. ways to zip around and remove or displace backliners and midliners sitting up on the ramp/wall
i've seen footage of you playing JR and i know you're extremely good with it but brinewater is just a little moray towers with even less cover so its a really bad pick there
and splatana on inkblot felt mischosen, if you wanted to maintain the zip and the fast kill power but actually be able to paint the zone with a giant wall in the middle, you might have been better served by octobrush, or cjr there with the torpedos for the enemy perch and actually being able to use wavebreaker on one of its stronger maps
i wasn't there for your stream so i didn't get to see your reasoning behind some of your counterpicks and plays but i think the splat 3 meta really needs high tier weapons per map because there flat out isnt that much cover for jrs and brushes to play around, so you can't rely strictly on mechanical skill and dexterity to make strong plays

I think using cjr in Brinewater was a mistake. Map/mode be damned I think you’re good enough with stamper where picking it every time will give you the best advantage to win. And the cjr itself was pretty limited in its abilities for those matches, especially against Ascension with the tri and gal. Stamper probably could’ve dealt with those more effectively.

Just wondering, why do you scream all your call outs on com lol? Do you just get that excited and wrapped up in the game?
I guess for the same reason he spams "Ouch" when dead, not out of anger but to communicate importance. Splatoon is a fast-paced game, everything can go downhill in seconds, and most of the time you can not notice something.

better title might be "How we almost won a major nintendo tourney", or maybe, "Did we win this major nintendo tourney" -- keeps the viewer in suspense/doesn't reveal the outcome immediately? IK Alpharad does something similar
The honesty makes this more appealing to me. Viewers can watch this with a mindset- what did they do good and how could they do better- and that will help them realize what they could be doing better too. 🤷🏻♀️

Late to the party but he meant 95 damage, because a direct hit from a zipcaster does that amount. If he calls out ‘gal’ or another single word weapon like ‘tri’, then he wouldn’t add any details after it

What's the difference between the losers and winners bracket?
everyone starts in the winners bracket. if you lose a set, you drop down to the losers bracket. then if you lose while youre in the losers bracket, youre out of the tournament. in this tournament, the winners of each bracket dont play each other, they both win prizes and also qualify for a future tournament.
search up ‘double elimination bracket’ if youre still confused on how it works
