Great film, brings me back to school days when the teachers said I would never amount to anything, but one teacher saw something in me and that one voice I can still hear, as I encourage others, ( you can do anything if you put your mind to it )and turn a deaf ear to all the other negative voices,Thank you Declan keep writing every parent and teacher needs to hear and see this, and learn the song ‘This little light of mine I’m going to let it SHINE ‘ we all have a hidden talent we just have to dig deep and clear out all those voices till we too Shine, Joan
I'm sorry for my english, it is not my native language. As it had been said in the comments, the opening scene is beautiful. The spectator is listening to the words of the character with great attention all the more that there is silence, no music, just the calm yearning tone of his voice. This is, as simple as it sounds, a director's choice, and the film answers to these promise. The imagery is great, so is the dialogue. Very interesting talent, Mr Declan Curran, from an amateur videographer to a professional.
Heard about this on Oliver Callan's show. Woody Allen wrote there is nothing as sad in life as a missed opportunity. Well done a big theme in a small movie.
Great film. My parents moved to the US from Roscommon and Tipperary just before my birth so I grew up hearing the brogue--actually I never heard it until I unearthed a tape my father made twenty years before he died. Don´t laugh. I had to use the captions to get the language. You deserve much praise. Thanks for the captions, too.
From USA. Loved this! Great work. Suggestion: Add correct subtitles, because the auto-generated ones are wildly (sometimes comically) wrong, and my American ear needed some help understanding the accents. Best wishes for your continued success.
Beautiful. Dare to dream. Dare to live your dreams.
Thank you!
cracking film, follow your dreams whilst you still can
Thank you!

The Irish are beautiful people inside and out - full of humor and laughs....and very hard workers who take pride in their work - and off spring
