Hopefully, the light haired guy will count his blessings, and get his life in order. It would be a real shame not to, and to lose this very handsome and nice man that stopped to help him. He has a second chance to change his entire life. As Andreas said, hope there is a part 2. A very well filmed and acted short. Loved the two actors.

@@yoanclauzel en fait ce qui serait encore plus suberbe, serait d’en faire un long métrage avec le même duo d’acteurs qui fonctionne si bien à l’image. Mais j’imagine que ce n’est que de l’ordre de l’utopie 😢
@@yoanclauzel Yoan, that is a great statement....when I was 40, with 2 small children, I made eye contact with a very young man (18). We both took that chance, and here we are 31 plus years later. Kids always loved my guy, as did my entire family...and now grandkids almost 18. It's really a wonderful life when we are able to find a partner in life.

This actually has the beginnings of being as good as Heartstopper... is it a pilot for a series? Either way... as a short... totally enjoyable and well acted.
Script for me could go a little further out there... as "Lois" seems to have tried these tactics before... given the door left open and him saying that it's OK if "Killian" is straight. You could have pushed the threshold right there with some additional lines..... explored what makes each character tick internally a little more. But perhaps that would have taken it too far and ruined the lightness of this happy meeting.
The chemistry was there in the acting... definitely would like to see more.

😳 Mais c'est quoi cette pépite ? Par où commencer ? J'adore la photo, la mise en scène, les acteurs. ❤️ Un tel réalisme, jusqu'à en oublier qu'il s'agit d'un court-métrage. Je crois en fait que c'est la rencontre que j'aurais aimé faire si j'avais eu le courage d'aborder un inconnu... Je veux en voir plus. 😭 ❤️❤️❤️😀

Ça doit bien faire une trentaine de fois que je regarde, et j’arrive toujours pas à ne pas regretter une scène de baiser, leurs premiers. Mais je crois, que je suis bien partie pour regarder encore de très nombreuses fois, tellement c’est adorable.
Il va falloir que j’en tourne vite d’autres sinon tu vas finir par te lasser 😜

Je l’avais déjà vu. Je suis retombé dessus par hasard, j’ai adoré le dialogue final et « tu veux quoi? » prend tout son sens avec ce qu’il y a avant. C’est subtil et tout en pudeur. La course sur la plage en dit tellement plus que tout ce qu’on aurait pu montrer. Bravo, c’est simple et bien écrit.

Très bon court-métrage, dommage que le rapprochement des deux personnages ne soient pas plus explicite et un rapprochement physique aurait été mieux entre les deux personnages, car là, ça fait vraiment (on parle d'amour entre deux hommes, mais on ne montre rien...).
Merci pour ce commentaire. J’ai préféré montrer une rencontre sans rapprochement physique car je trouve que les personnes LGBTQIA+ sont trop souvent sexualisées mais je comprends l’envie de voir un baiser ou plus.

I really really liked this film. I appreciated the despite being put upon and frustrated at times, our dark long haired hero could not help but be a good samaritan.

Interesting story, but, ditch the boy from the beach because he's trouble. A person who cannot control his drinking and wakes up face down on a beach is probably toxic to anyone who chooses to get involved with him. Just don't get involved with this kind of person. Speaking from experience.
