As a mom of a one-year-old, I absolutely love seeing you share this season of life. I'm an interior designer and business owner as well and have been dealing with some of the mom guilt you shared previously. I've slowed down a lot too recently to focus on my daughter. There are days when i just hate my body but watching you talk about your body insecurities, gives me comfort that im not alone. Loving the day-in-the-life content! I used to be a never go to bed with anything out of place kind of gal. Then life happens, circumstances change, requirements demand more than wants and wishes and we do what we can, when we can and learn to deal with it! The key is to not beat ourselves up over not doing things the way we used to before all the life changes!
Kudos for recognizing when you aren’t being kind with your self talk! What you weigh never determines your worth! We all are perfectly imperfect regardless of our dress size. I absolutely love your channel. I have 3 sons who are young adults. I became disabled in the blink of an eye from an accident. What I would give to have my old sturdy and slightly chunky body back. I was so hard on myself when it provided me with so much. So remember, when your sons are grown, and you'll look back at these videos, you will realize just how much your beautiful body provides Xoxoxo.

I am still struggling with weight loss after just having my baby 37 years ago!
so understand how hard it is to lose weight while breastfeeding, i had the same issue with milk supply dropping if i tried to lose weight, im two years post partum and still not at pre pregnancy weight, i only started my gradual weight loss after quitting breastfeeding 6 months ago!
This was PRECIOUS! As a mother of 4 (including twins)...grown children...I commend you for your honesty and willingness to share! I so wish that I had been able to watch a 20 minute video like this, when I was in the midst of these things....it would have made me feel so NORMAL! The internet/social media gets a bad rap sometimes...but, having a video like this...would have been much appreciated back in my day! And....I honestly truly enjoyed watching it NOW! You should definitely do more of these! And....being honest about your "for now" body...was priceless...and not just to new moms....but to us old moms too who are having to adjust to our bodies as they age! Thank you!
Something I just found from Mel Robbins: every morning you wake up and are in the bathroom in front of the mirror”GIVE YOURSELF A HIGH FIVE”! Because your brain sees that and it releases dopamine to help you feel better! Also give yourself credit for delivering 2 healthy babies and keeping yourself going! You are doing great! I have a one and a half year old and a 3 month old. I’m going back to work in a few days after a very long maternity leave that I am so thankful for. Time with your babies is a precious gift! I am over here really struggling with my self image. I am also the heaviest I have ever been. It’s so hard seeing so many women bounce right back after having a baby. Thank you for being so real. I love that you show a bit of your faith. 🤍 And I too went and still going through the same mental thing with my body. I got pregnant with my second (currently 6 months pregnant) without having lost any weight and sometimes I felt like I wasn’t doing enough. I absolutely love this. I’ve been a long time viewer and the new content transition just enhances your sweet personality. I found myself actually talking to you haha I’m a SAHM with 3 kids in school full time, I can still relate. I’m in a different season of life and it’s still busy but a different busy where sitting down to watch a screen of content is difficult. Being able to listen to you as I multitask was so refreshing. You are SO lucky to have so much support... I had two sons, 21 month apart, both in diaper's, nursing both and it was all on me!! I LOVE the idea of using coconut milk-I will be trying that. I have been using bone broth as my liquid. I also add either snow peans or asparagus to my chicken dish.

What an incredible, beautiful life! A wonderful husband, two gorgeous babies, an amazing home , and faith and love! Who could ask for anything more? These are the crazy days that we look back on with sweet memories. As for the weight issue. I loved when you twirled around in your sweet dress. I thought... I wish I could embrace my few extra pounds and put something like that on. But , instead I put myself in a mental box,and grab the oversize shirt to cover the tummy and arms. I wish I could let that all go and just be in the moment.

I have a nearly 4 yr old bpy and a baby girl on the way, and have been working for the last couple of years - it is HARD! Thank you for being so raw and honest about life as a working mom, it makes others like me feel seen and normal and more capable of handling it. I have mostly worked from home but did not have a good routine, but I'm starting a new job soon and getting my family into a better routine now to set us up for success. Wish us all luck for when baby girl arrives!
