Absolutely!! I was watching this video and thinking how awesome it is to see & hear a young couple talking abt how they are trusting in the Lord & asking him for guidance, especially on the platform that they have, this is so awesome!!
Sharrah you have made the best decision to stay at home with your babies. Time goes by so quickly and you do not want to have any regrets about raising your children. You and your husband are so cute together and it is obvious that God has had His hand in this new job and move. Enjoy this process. We did the same thing 30 years ago we left California and moved to North Carolina and we stayed three years and then came back home. Our son was four at the time when we left California and to this day he talks about the things he did in North Carolina. He now lives in Tennessee with his family and loves it!
Matthew 6:34. Thanks for including that Tyler. It's one of my favorite verses. I tend to worry and I need to remind myself that God has a plan far better than I could imagine. I'm excited for this new journey in your lives and I'm so encouraged having this little "chat" with the two of you. You believe and share your faith but you also live it and that honors God. Sharrah, I'm so happy that you are looking forward to spending more time with your kids (and Tyler) and "making bread". Those years with your family are precious and it goes quickly. Oh, I wish the two of you could come to our church in Iowa. I just know that God will use you and your family in your new church, community, work. I'll pray for the items you mentioned.
I woukd be so sad to leave this amazing home and community... but with your soulmate next to you, two incredible little humans , a dog and your faith... how could it be anything but positive. Can't wait to see your new home, watch you make it you and follow you through the seasons of life. Sharrah, you have such a beautiful face, and its never more beautiful than when you are looking at Tyler. It melts my heart.
My daughter, after years of academic work to become an MD, and postponing having children until she was successfully established as a physician, found she had infertility issues (this is more common than known for women who put off pregnancy until their late 30’s). After 5 years of struggling with infertility, she had a darling daughter. She was expected to return to work when her daughter was 6 weeks old. She was surprised at herself (as were everyone that knew her, including her husband, also an MD) that she didn’t want to leave her baby. She promptly quit her job. In four years, at age 44, she has had 3 babies and hasn’t been back to work (employment). She says when the kids are in school, she will go back part time. She says she just can’t miss these years with her kids. All mothers are working women!
@@lindakincaid4530 So true. But, the news is full of celebrity women having babies in their 40’s. What these celebs are not sharing is they used in vitro. It can be very expensive and not necessarily covered by all health insurance. Not always successful. It is very stressful on a woman’s body to have mega hormones pumped into her body. Who knows the long term effects? But, this info is left out of the news when some movie star gives birth to twins at 48. It gives the average woman the idea she has more time to have children than she actually has. My daughter tells all women (who will listen) in their 30’s to have their ovarian reserves checked - just so they know what they are up against.
Part-time is the key to a successful balance. Keeping the house & schedules organized with little stress is the perfect remedy to a healthy life. I'm not surprised an intelligent woman would understand this TRUTH. Good on her!
You will never regret staying home with your kiddos. I came to NC 18 years ago and raised my babies (2) I always promised to myself that when my second child turn 5 I will go back to work so I did that. My son and daughter until now remember everything we did during those early years of their life. The crafts, baking, going to puppet shows, taking them to the Nutcracker in Christmas….I spent every moment I had with them…we had some tough days too and when I needed a break my husband was very supportive. You could ask my kids what we did last summer they might not remember but when they talk about their childhood they remember so many specific details that always warms my heart. That was without doubt the best time of my life. Blessings for you as a new mom and to your family ✌️🙏
Let Sawyer know that home is where Mom and Dad are and he will thrive in Nashville! Wishing you and your family well in this New year! Love your family especially your Mom!❤
Nashville needs powerful people of faith like the two of you. Tyler it's clear from your comments that you are an awesome leader and husband and leader. I'm a 67 year old widow and trying to find my place in this season of life. This was so encouraging! God's grace and favor go before you in everything!
Matt. 6:34 One thing that might be a comfort to your boys, frame samples of their old rooms to hang in their new rooms (eg: fabric swatches, wall paper scraps, etc...). Might help keep them with the familiar. All of God's best to you! Hug!
This video has been so heartwarming to watch! To hear you talk about this move, the Lord’s direction together, your desire to focus on your family…🫠 I love the sounds of the direction your channel is headed…it’s really what we want anyway. 😂 You doing you! Make bread, definitely decorate because you are so good at it, be a Mom and a wife, maybe help a friend with a room… We will be here waiting for you. ☺️
So exciting that you're embracing motherhood. My three are 24, 23, and 21. I was a full time mom, homeschooled them through 8th grade. Our kids thrive with mom at home. Love how you live your faith and lean in to God.
Wishing your move to Nashville will be blessed and we get to see you in a video someday in the future when you are all settled . God bless you and your babies.
Being a Tennessee girl I’m super excited to welcome you to Nashville! I live about 2 hours west of Nashville and an 1 1/2 hours east of Memphis. If I recall Nashville was the 5th location y’all and Rebecca were going to check out before your move to Tulsa but a situation made that impossible at the time. I feel like for some reason God wants y’all in Nashville for now. I hope this move is a blessed one for your family and you’ll love your new home. Oh, and you’ll only be about 4 hours from the Great Smoky Mountains. You’ll have to take a weekend to visit because if there is one place you can feel Gods presence, it’s those mountains! Again, Welcome to Tennessee!❤️
It is so wonderful to know that you are following the Lord's leading in all of this. I think it is so wonderful that Sharrah wanted to be with her children and I am so glad that Tyler found a job that. I can definitely see God's hand in all of this!
I’ve been following you and your mom for years, I’m so happy and excited about your move and seeing you being lead by the Lord. Will keep you and your family in my prayers for an easy transition 🙏🏼
So exciting for you all.My Dad was in the service when I was growing up and we moved alot.We made friends all over and still keep in touch.I'm 65 now and have great memories of my childhood.God bless you.
Bless your family as you move in a few days! You both have servant hearts, God will take care of you every step of the way! Sharrah, you would be a blessing to your followers if you had Bible studies or devotionals on Utube!
Being a Mom is the most important and rewarding job you will ever be blessed to have had. We here in Oklahoma will miss you, but we wish you all the best as you take this leap of faith on your new journey. Have fun. Life is short. Enjoy those babies.
I really loved how open you were about your insecurities. ❤ May Nashville bring about so many more God winks and blessings as you are obedient to what He's called you to.
Motherhood is the best and most rewarding job! You won't regret stepping back for a little while. Ive got 2 little boys as well. One of which is a Sawyer. Tennessee will be honored to have yall! I live not far from Nashville myself. 💙
You will never regret the time with your kids! I took 11 years to stay home with mine and just went back to work this year, your job will still be there for you when you’re ready. Those are precious years! Enjoy your new adventure!
I love that you both have prayed together and trusted God. God comes through always!!!God bless you and your family! Prayers that God leads you to the right church and people!
I first found you and Rebecca when you first moved to your house and decorated for Christmas. I have been a fan ever since! I love both of your styles. Wishing you and Tyler much success. Smart to pray for God's will in everything you do! Good to get off The Hamster Wheel!! We need to stop glamorizing busy! SO EXCITED FOR YOU AND THE BOYS! GO LIVE YOUR LIFE IN PEACE!! 💖💙💚💛🧡🩷🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
The faith that you both show on your channel just warms my heart! I am a mom of two and I understand 100% how you feel right now about slowing down and enjoying the moment because time truly is a thief. I will be here for all the bread making &home making content videos😊! Just please don’t leave out Christmas and I don’t care if it’s as simple as a vlog style decorate with me while you’re making cookies with the boys im here for this journey! 2024 will be your best year!! 😊❤😊
Both of you quoted scripture that is truly important lessons of how to live in faith. Sharrah, you will never ever regret stepping back and being a Mom. That was a difficult decision for me at the time, but now that my babies are 39, 41, 43, I still think back to it was a tough decision and changed the course of my career goals. But I wouldn't give up one minute of the spilled milk in front of the refrigerator, the toys scattered all over the floor, and the chaos of watching three pre-school kids all at the same time. I know that you will always feel the same way. Tyler, you may have broken the TH-cam internet when you said the thing you are most prayerful about is wanting Sharrah to be happy and okay with the change. It is so amazing to hear two young people speak so openly about their faith in God that I was absolutely drawn into your hearts. You've talked about God before, but today it seems as though you spoke from your hearts about how you give the major decisions in life to God. Thank you for sharing that and many blessings on your move to Nashville and the next stages of your lives.
Loved how you guys consulted with God to make your decisions, stay blessed. Matthew 6:34 is “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Seasons are important. Your family is first. I love you and your husband’s process, prayer is the best! It’s how we have lived our lives, and have been married 50 years, and have 5 sons, and 19 grandchildren. God is the one we have always listened too. Love your process
You guys are great role models, you have your priorities straight God first. You can never replace this time with your children. Trust me your kids will adjust quickly. My daughter did the same thing with three granddaughters. I love you I will be praying for you all and can’t wait to see where God leads. I moved from another state after my first granddaughter was born 18 years ago and I’m retiring next year. I go to most of their functions, but I will not have to miss another one. ❤ and how awesome to be working with Tim McGraw what great Godly people. I love Nashville.
Sharrah, you and Tyler have made the right decision for your family, especially as you have prayers over it. As you said, you are in a new season of your life as a woman and as a family and it’s wonderful to see you both embracing this season with joy. May God’s light continue to shine down on you each!
Best of luck to you. As a seasoned mommy….(and old enough to be yours) when children have love and empathy from their parents, they are so resilient and will adjust anywhere! You guys will thrive in Nashville❣️.
I love hearing all these God-stories of people being called to the Nashville area, because that is exactly what happened to me! My husband and I got married and spent a year in the state I had grown up in, and then we both realized we felt a draw towards TN. I felt like God was saying, "Oh, you're worried about finding an apartment? Here's one. Oh you're worried about finding a job? Here are some options," and while I was terrified to go, we committed to one year. That was 3 years ago and I don't see us leaving our Murfreesboro! We are so grateful we made the leap and came here. I'm so excited for you, Sharrah! You'll find your community here, I promise.
Tyler and Sharrah, I wish you the best in your new journey in Nashville. You are absolutely going to love living there!! The people there are so warm and inviting, the food is amazing, and well the MUSIC… it speaks for itself…every genres is represented and each one is incredible! Sending lots of love to you and your family!🤗💞
Happy for you ❤. A little over a year ago I moved to Washington state, new construction home. There are kids playing outside, everyone has a dog and walks them all day long… it’s been the best decision for us :)
Matthew 6:34 I left my job to stay home with my son and the only regret I have is that I didn't do it as soon as he was born! 30 years later I am still home, obviously he doesn't need me like he used to but I loved every moment and so grateful that I had that opportunity! Such a blessing! Good for you! It seems that God opened all the doors for you so just step in! Bless you guys! 🙏💞
There is nothing more important than prayer before any move, as long as everything is placed on God’s hands he will take care of the rest. Also the scripture is on he was quoting os on Mathew 6:34 letters in red ❤ so yes Jesus talking 😊
I grew up in the burbs, with lots of kids in the neighborhood to play with, and it was the best. Your kids will love being in a neighborhood with houses close by.
If you act excited and positive, so will your kids. I remember our pediatrician said, your boys are so calm and happy because you are. This makes them feel safe and ready for anything
Any of the things you two worry about in the move, just remember, God is in the details. When He leads you, He will provide what you need. God bless you all!
There will be no better way to teach your kids fractions than baking with them. We did and ended up with a mathematician and a doctor. You will never regret taking this season to invest 100% in your children. God bless you!
When you mentioned people unsubscribing I went to check and I was unsubscribed, I didn’t unsubscribe that is TH-cam’s doing. I have subscribed again. I wish you and your family all the best and it’s inspiring that you’re praying about difficult decisions and your prayers are being answered. I think I need to catch up on some praying in this season of my life.
We moved in summer of 2022 from CT to Nc. My husband took a position as a full time youth pastor and music director. We had a 4 year old son and I was 32 weeks pregnant. It was TOUGH! It was hard to leave a place we had spent 7 years of our married life (married for 10) and had our first baby boy. (I have two boys too!) All the fears and uncertainties you talked about in this video were all of our same struggles and fears. I do think that as hard as it was for our little 4 year old to move away from all his buddies and everything he knew, that he learned to love and make new friends. He still cries every now and then about missing CT, we still do too. But we have made a new home and life here. I still struggle as times with it but we are where God wants us and we find comfort in that. God will help your family! Love each other through the tears and struggles! There is not time limit on your grief! Life is an adventure! God bless you all!
I will watch regardless of topic of content. Love whatever you post on TH-cam! It’s always inspiring. From bread to vlog to homemaker to interior design I will be watching!!!!!! Can’t wait for your 2024 content! From Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦
Shariah, I was a stay at home Mom with my two children, now grown, and never regretted it. God blessed my husband and I so that I could do that, and he’s blessing u and ur husband to b able to do that too! Isn’t God so awesome! I’ll b praying for u and ur family, that all is well, that u blessed beyond measure and that ur children thrive! Know that there’s a Mom in North Brunswick NJ who is rooting for u!
Welcome to TN! My husband and I moved from WI almost 10 years ago, rented for a year, bought a home in Thompsons Station, and then bought a home on more land outside of Columbia, TN. You're going to LOVE the area. It's tender, hospitable, and bucolic. The amenities here are wonderful, and even though we're larger than Tulsa, it still has a small town feel. Blessings to your family!
Love how you're both so authentic (you're wonderful, natural ministers). It'll be neat to look back on this video in 1-yr, 2-yr, etc. I'm so happy for you both! Sharrah, it's good to know you'll be possibly slowing down a bit and focusing on your family (you deserve it!). Tyler is such a wonderful and gentle leader for your family. You are blessed! Emmanuel-God is with you. ♡ ♡ ♡
Great Q and A! I am so happy for you that you were able to make the changes you felt called to make.... God is so amazing how he provides when we seek Him! I had a similar experience when I decided to be home full time with my boys (now they are 30 and 29!) I would not trade those years with them for anything in the world! God bless you both in this new adventure!
I stayed home away from my career for the first 4 years of our only son's life. He's now 22. Having him later in life I suspected this would be our only child. I never regretted staying home. Every day was a joy, raising him in our faith our values which is so important. I returned to work closer to home at a place that supported parents and I volunteered at school and was present at each function, sporting event. That to me was worth more than a high salary in the city. Raising a family challenged me to balance my life. Church, family, work, community. Before it was only work work work. God will bless you for striving for balance in your life. Peace to you.
So happy for you all! My kiddos are all grown and I baked thousands of loaves of bread for them and their friends and our church (could make pizza faster than pizza delivery)! Loved it alllllll and wouldn’t have traded it for the world! Hands and hearts WIDE open! Thank you for being such a great example of a Christ centered family.❤❤❤
I love that you both trust & believe. Now your husband can follow his heart & you can stay with yours & nurture those little ones. So happy for you both. Take care!
Tyler, your quote is in red letters from Matthew 6:34. Excellent. "So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." NASB
We recently moved to Nashville for a similar reason! As a momma of two young boys I will say it’s amazing! A lot to offer for kiddos!!! Welcome to Nash!
My husband and I have our own business and had small children and we had to make a difficult decision for me to stop working amd focus on being a mom. BEST DECISION EVER!!! I homeschool all 5 and God was so good to us. It was hard at first to trust God because we didn’t know what the future holds. But it was good!! After taking 8 years off I came back and help again but very little hours! I am praising God for his work in your life and you will never regret trusting him!!!
What an exciting time!! I love that you are moving forward trusting the Lord in all of it. Matthew 6:34…your hubby was right, Sharra🥰 I’ve loved following you from the beginning and watching how the Lord is blessing your sweet family as you seek Him in all you do. Praying for you in this new adventure!❤🙏🏻❤️
Love watching the two of you and especially sharing your faith. May God continue to Bless your family according to His riches in Heaven! I will be following your journey 😊
We moved to Nashville 2 years ago and it’s been the easiest transition for us! The people literally scoop you up & make you feel like family. ❤ I am hoping for the same ease for you all. Good luck with your move.
I love how you sought the Lord in your decision making, and how He led you. Thank you for sharing that part of your lives. People need to know that our God is able to help us with the everyday types of life decisions. He did the same for me when I moved from Southern CA to Idaho in 2020.
Sharrah , Gods many blessings on the change in your family's journey. We moved a couple of times for my husbands work. They adjusted pretty well. We are retired now and kids are grown, all three are mech engineers like their dad. So happy to see you have God and Jesus in your lives and raising your children with our Lord and savior. Prayers to you all for a happy safe move. I too have starred making bread lasr year . Boy i sure learned alot . 1. If you use a bread machine , use the one that makes a loaf horizontal and not vertical. Mines is vertical , always fell . So what i do is let the machine do the work and then i turned it out on a floured surface and made dinner roles. Absolutely loved them . This recipe is made with whole red hard winter wheat and soft rmalted red wheat. We grind ourselves, honey and olive oil and no white sugar. 2c of hard wheat 2 c of soft malted red wheat , 1 egg, 1/3 c of olive oil, 1/3c of honey, 1.5 c of water about 110 deg, 2 1/4 teap of yeat . Use machine yeat if using a bread maker . I use Saf instant , there is a red label and gold label. Im using red label at the moment . I do have the gold label , just havent tried it yet. I will appolgize for grammer . Hard to type on this tablet. Lol. Truly enjoy your videos and your mothe'sr also. God bless Sharrah. Lorna
To know....that your path is guided and LEAD by the Lord is so AWESOME, he gives US that peace if we just turn it over to HIM....the 2 of you are such a BLESSING to watch and share your story ..I've been following you for a few years now ....I love your Jesus life and all that you share with us ...! BE BLESSED....in all you do in his GLORY..!
God is SO faithful!!! Blessings on the move and transition for you all, Sharrah!! Thank you for the update! Can't wait to continue to follow your family's journey. I, too, was a career driven person and mom and decided (about the age of your kiddos) to leave my career and stay home. Best decision I ever made for my family!!! God bless!
I work full time and if I had the ability to stay at home with my kids I absolutely would. It's a blessing and privilege to be able to stay home. Good luck 💚
Ive just watched you for the first time. Ive watched your mom years ago. Your Mom did a great job with you. You are so real, sweet, just loving to watch. I love your personality and your hubby is adorable too. I wish you success in your move and look forward to following you as well as your Mom.
So so worth it give this time for your children! It is so emotionally hard on Mom's to leave their children in someone else's care. I wanted to be there to see my child take their first steps. I wanted to be involved with their parenting and seeing them grow. I wanted to have those memories after they left home when they were grown. My husband and I have five adult children and eventually went back to work but I loved being with my children.
Sharrah, I'm delighted with your new format for your channel. Congratulations to you both on your move. You'll both do well. Your children will adjust quickly. I'm looking forward to seeing your new home. I can already smell the bread baking. God bless you and yours.
One more thing, I was blessed to move to Tulsa for a short time when I was a young adult. I still miss Tulsa to this day but still have a close friendship with my oldest (long lasting) friend. God is good.❤
That is awesome news for your family Sharrah and Tyler. I have been following your journey since 2021 from Melbourne Australia and I loved it. God is good! We also are considering moving interstate God willing and your video has taught me some good things to consider. We both love Jesus and I wish you both all the best with your move and let Jesus take the wheel. Look forward to seeing the new house soon. May our good Lord bless you both and your family.
I love how you love the Lord - blessings for your changes…I am sure you’ll transition well! The people you will be coming in contact with will be so blessed!
This is my favorite video that I’ve ever watched on your channel!! I never realized how much y’all trust & love the Lord!! We need more young couples like y’all with this kinda platform to encourage other young couples, or young people in general!! Awesome video!! I pray that everything goes well with your move, it’s very obvious that God has been lining things up for y’all, and I’m so glad that y’all have been able to see it & acknowledge him for it🙏!!
Naturally, I would pick this up on MOVING day!!! May God give you travel mercies in all areas of transportation and transition!!! Not knowing where in Nashville you are moving, I will still recommend you look into Brentwood Baptist Church in your home-church search. Senior Pastor Jay Strother is a family friend...another son, if you will. Have an amazing settling-in period, learning to love your new homebase and all that comes with the adventure of new beginnings. So grateful you testify to His leading; God be glorified!!!!
I pray God’s continued favor on your family and for God to continue to order both of your footsteps.A special prayer for your mom she is certainly an inspiration and I pray that she would not be lonely but that God will open many doors for her business she is a very talented and amazing person .
What a blessing for your family. I’m happy for mom, I’m 69, I’ve worked jobs on and off with our young children. When we started to not have energy for our family, I would quit my job so, we would have more family time. I would be able to find another great job when I decided to go back to work. I just have to mention I believe it was important for me to be home during the teen years.
It’s so wonderful to see young couples like you loving the Lord. Bless your family in your new venture.
And that you speak about your faith and willing to follow the way the Lord is leading you!
California is a beautiful state!!! However, raising a family there is extremely expensive
North Carolina is the best!
And
You will never regret staying home to raise your children. Ever! God’s blessing on your future endeavors.

Oh, and you’ll only be about 4 hours from the Great Smoky
Mountains.
Such a positive influencer, you are so real! I love your realness and I love that you are seeking God’s will in your family’s life.
It’s exciting to see how God moves! Can’t wait to see what is in store for you and your family!
Tulsa’s loss is Nashville’s gain - lovely beautiful couple. Love the strength of faith and family. God bless.
I can see your Mom moving back to California. The work she does can be done in any state but she’s alone in Tulsa, maybe friends but no family.
That’s a big concern about Rebecca being alone…but must admit she’s a strong woman and will reinvent herself
Thank you for the TH-cam announcement. Some of us only do TH-cam. My only other obsession is Pinterest. Blessings to your family!❤
You are stepping out on faith, that step will be rewarded.
I love that you guys are being so open about how God is leading you!
You guys are so adorable together! This video shows how much you guys love care and respect each other 🥰!
I am a grandmother, the yrs with your littles go by so quickly. I hope you are able to have more time with them. It will be amazing😊
I absolutely love your reliance on the Lord, and how He showed up for you. Congratulations on your new chapter!
Things always in gods timing and all the little god winks most definitely sealed the deal. God bless you both on this new journey and season 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
It's so heart warming to watch a video about people sharing their life's journey with God... you're both an inspiration...God bless.
I love that you put your plans in the Lord’s hands. I love this about your videos.
Moving is such a big change, but when God's hand is in it, it all comes together. It has happened for us so many times. God bless you on your path ❤
I adore the two of you and your faith. It’s beautiful to watch. May God bless your move on Monday!
Stay at home moms are the absolutely best, bravest, most organized and loving women!
Beautiful and blessed family!
Love watching the two of you and especially sharing your faith. May God continue to Bless your family according to His riches in Heaven! I will be following your journey 😊
Your dynamics are so sweet to witness. Thank you for talking to God. He does answer prayers.
Just the way you both look at each other and the Lord in you life is sooo wonderful!
I just love this precious young family. God bless them in their new adventure as they seek God and enjoy His blessings.
I wanted to be involved with their
parenting and seeing them grow. I wanted to have those memories after they left home when they were grown. My husband and I have five adult children and eventually went back to work but I loved being with my children.
I wish both of y'all the very best and I can't wait to see how you decorate the new
I like it when you said we prayed about it
Sharrah, I'm delighted with your new format for your channel.
I’m so excited for your family and this new journey! Being a SAHM is a blessing!
I love how you love the Lord - blessings for your changes…I am sure you’ll transition well! The people you will be coming in contact with will be so blessed!
Best wishes for your new adventures from Penny in Liverpool 🇬🇧😊💕
This is my favorite video that I’ve ever watched on your channel!! I never realized how much y’all trust & love the Lord!! We need more young couples like y’all with this kinda platform to encourage other young couples, or young people in general!! Awesome video!! I pray that everything goes well with your move, it’s very obvious that God has been lining things up for y’all, and I’m so glad that y’all have been able to see it & acknowledge him for it🙏!!
As a 48 year old, married 28 years with 3 grown kids cattle ranchers wife, do all the traditional wife and mother things. You won't regret it.
I love, love the pre-eminence of prayer and trusting God for His leading, provision and outcome. Praise God.
I pray God’s continued favor on your family and for God to continue to order both of your footsteps.A special prayer for your mom she is certainly an inspiration and I pray that she would not be lonely but that God will open many doors for her business she is a very talented and amazing person .
You are going to love Nashville! I feel very blessed to have lived in Nashville my whole life. You will find that the people are friendly and kind.
