How to paint dog ears & fur in acrylics | German Shepherd painting

In this tutorial I'll show how to paint dog ears and fur in acrylics. The tips and techniques can be used in any upright ear shape regardless of the animal. Cats for example has the same ear shape and position. When painting dog ears like this, the layering order is crucial. That is what will help make it far easier to paint and achieve more depth and realism.

Thanks so much. I have a chihuahua on my easel and I struggled with the ears. I have a video about that too, lol 😂. This helps me tackle the other ear with a bit more confidence. I only painted one ear and it was a challenge, so I put off painting the other one 😊.
