The best Lamborghini ever made. And those who have acquisition of the 5 SV manuals that exist, are very fortunate. The Aventador will never live up to what the Murciélago was no matter the iteration.

Except the Aventador S/SVJ are everything the Murcielago SV was but 5x better. Better looking, nicer interior, much better handling and safety, faster with a newly built better NA V12.

@@epicon6 nothing looks better than the Merci SV for me. The new ones will always be faster but this sounds amazing and is just a beauty.

The aventador looks better sounds just as good. Different but as good and is just as much if not more bonkers

The Murcielago just had that charm that the later Avendator didn't, still my fav supercar
I remember maxing this car out on Gran Turismo and turning up the TV to max volume so I could listen to the V12 when I accelerated. One of my dream cars for sure. Sounds crazy.

An absolute masterpiece. The pinnacle of what a TRUE Lamborghini should ever be and Lamborghini's last hurrah before Audi really took the reigns.

First I have to thank you for bringing the most savage Lamborghini Murcielago built to date, with the color of launch. It's a very rare car in nowadays, but it's still a beauty such a beast with that ultimate aero pack. The noise is a pure symphony imagine if Novitec just put a race exhaust on that will be the ultimate Lamborghini Sound. Brilliant way to finish the Series.

The first fast car I ever drove/was fortunate enough to drive, was a first gen 6.2 Murcielago. Even after working at a Mclaren dealership in the past, and driving all different types of supercars, the Murci is still my all time favorite. Not quite as fast as some of the modern Mclaren's but the sound of that v12 is just unforgettable. Had the opportunity to start up a Murci SV and rev it when I was younger, but wasen't lucky enough to drive it. Still thankful I at least got to drive a Murci. My favorite Lamborghini.

If I won the lottery, this masterpiece would definitely find the way in my collection. No Aventador version comes close to that
Aston Martin Vanquish S 17-18 V12, C8 Z06, Mustang GT350R, E60 M5, Maserati Gran Turismo, Gen 1 NSX to name but a few engineering master works.
This brought memories back of driving a Murcielago LP640 round track back in 2010. Great car , sounded epic but the eGear was clunky. Worked ok on track mind.👍👍

Seeing that scene at 5:40 gave me chills. The buildup and sensation you feel of pushing a Lamborghini to it’s limits is insane. It’s an exclusive experience that it does not share with any other car.

The obvious next N/A engines are: a VTEC(Mk1 NSX or S2000), an American pushrod(Viper ACR or C7 Vette ZR1) and the grand daddy! A McLaren F1!
Still looks, drives and sounds so remarkable 13 years later; that car is a true legend.
Years ago I followed a white Murciélago north on I95 from Miami to Fort Lauderdale in my Porsche 968. Traffic was very light and we maintained an effortless and safe 90-120, considerate of everyone on the road. I’ll never forget that signature final exhaust sweeping up from the road. I wished I could have said hello to that driver.
Genuinely legendary engine.
My absolute favorite car ever since the day it released in my elementary school years. If I had a hero as a kid, it would've been this car. I had posters of it in my room, I drove it just about every time I played gran tursmo, and I made drawings of it countless times. Absolutely the best lamborghini ever made and it is on the top of my bucket list to drive one of these one day.
Brilliant content, it was worth waiting... What a piece of art of an engine! Side note for the next episodes : it would be awesome to have 20 seconds of engine screaming (just like the too short footage from the engine bay) with the camera fixed on the side of the car so we can see the road ahead 😉

Love this V12. The origional merci had lines I didnt quite agree with but I loved the Reventon and then the SV, beautiful. I say for the next series, the best of analog cars.

Still my no. 1 dream car. The sound of of the Aventador doesn't hold a candle to this or the LP640. Allegedly there were 5 SVs ordered with a manual. :O I can't even imagine driving one of these with a gated shifter.

I love the 2010 Lamborghini murcielago hell I have so many models of it from when I was a wee lil chap, yet I still want one.
The Last Naturally Aspirated V12, and an end of a Motoring era as a whole, now everything is turbocharged.
