The Greatest Lamborghini of All Time - 2010 Murcielago SV
ฝัง
- เผยแพร่เมื่อ 18 ก.พ. 2023
- Lamborghini's are about so much more than just performance, but times have changed and so has the brand. The Murcielago SV was a car I remember well, sitting in my parents bedroom watching Richard Hammond reviewing it on Top Gear. I knew then, and never waivered from the idea that the Murcielago SV is, and always would be, the greatest Lamborghini of all time. Find out why when I take it for a drive with the owner in my first interview video!

massive respect to the owner for letting you enjoy it like that. you could tell he was having a laugh
He is the nicest guy, been a good friend for years. Not many people at that level are as grounded as he is. Without or without the cars, grateful to know him 🤙
The Murcielago was THE Lambo for me growing up. The sound, the looks, the pedigree is all as raw as it will ever get from Lambo. No other car will ever look as cool, sinister, and iconic than the Murcielago. My #1 dream car is the Murcielago SV in orange.
Thank you for uploading this video. I get goosebumps every time I see a Murcielago, let alone hear it.
Thanks for watching mate! Not sure if you ever watched Top Gear, but Richard Hammond reviewed the Murci SV when it was first released in Dubai, and it was orange!
it look like a bat 🦇
Great video! Owner was super cool for letting you drive and seemed to really enjoy himself for sure.
The owner is the coolest! Thanks for watching!
In Dubai I lived across from a guy who had one of these in matt grey, it had such a ferocious sound that little kids would burst into tears when roared
I still burst into tears when I hear one
This exact SV was the first Lamborghini I ever rode in, back when it was in Kelowna BC. Will remember this car forever! Still the best & rawest car I have had the pleasure of experiencing. Patiently waiting for the next time I get to sit in the passenger (or driver 👀) seat of one again.
Small world! It really is a special car, thanks for sharing!
The owner sounds just as wonderful as the car is. Respect for him!
I hope your channel grows as it deserves .Your production quality is very good. Hope to see more legendery cars like these
Thanks man! Ill be working on getting some similar cars in the near future!
Great video. Very genuine and raw at translating the feeling and emotion to us the viewers.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching! 🙏
Respect from a fellow murci owner❤
Welcome to the channel, thanks for watching!
This is an amazing video! Please upload more of these!
Glad you enjoy the content thank you! Hoping to do another video with this owner pretty soon!
Oh man. This is my childhood dream too
Mine as well!
Thank you! I consume everythign I can find about this car including any review I can find. If all you did was made videos about this car I would watch them all hahaha.
Looks like I need to make more videos about this car then lol
@@carcaveofficial Yesss haha the reason being, it is my dream car. I would love to see a video on the development of the bizzarini V12 or really anything that else that has high attention to detail...
I’ll see if I can get my hands on another one mate!
Ditto!
This was a great review, thanks for bringing it together.
Thanks for watching it mate, glad you enjoyed it!
This is my dream car... For the first time I saw it when I was in high school. No other car has ever made me feel like this
I work very hard to be able to afford such a car
One day mate! It'll be in your garage
When TH-cam recommendation works, IT REALLY WORKS. My all time favorite Lamborghini, an absolute timeless classic, The sound of it is so unique that you can distinguish it from a haystack of super/hyper cars indeed. In my area all forms of a Murcielago no longer exists. I always day dream of how would it be like if I'm the one and only man on the road driving her. It would be and ABSOLUTE looker! Thank you for this video, CarCave and also... Thank you for reminding me I'm Old, your childhood dream was my Early adult 1st year of college dream LOL
No chance mate, you aren’t old. The fact that you still love the sound of a Murcielago means you are still a kid at heart like the rest of us 🤙
Hands down, the best Lamborghini ever made. This one has the best look and sound. I'm not a huge fan of how the original Murcielago looks, but the SV is just gorgeous. The very few manual ones should probably be some of the most fun cars to drive ever made.
Thanks for watching mate 🤙
@@carcaveofficial Thank you also for the good content! May your channel keep growing. 😄
@@Alex-ss9ou Really appreciate that man!
the lp640 is almost identical. Those huge front vents and new rear light compared to the original iteration make all the difference imho.
more vids with that dude! what a cool guy and super chill when you were getting on it!
Hoping to do some more in the near future!
I fell in love with this car when I seen it in the Dark Knight… Perfect car for Bruce Wayne
Same! To have one to match the Batman spec would be a dream come true
this was by far one of the best reviews i've watched.
Thank you so much mate! Means more than you know!
Very cool video. The interview was interesting and entertaining 👍
Thank you my friend 🙏
i once heard this car in los angeles coming up behind me. when i say i heard it i mean... i HEARD it predicted the spec and everything. It was at that point i realized i'd been obsessed with this machine.
It’s a monster. Nothing else like it on the road, and doubtful they will ever be able to make something like it again
My all time favorite Lambo🤌🏼
I think the Murcielago along with the Gallardo, Ferrari 430/599, Mercedes SLR McLaren, Porsche Carrera GT, and Ford GT was the last of the retro supercars before their descendants like the Aventador, Huracan, McLaren MP412C/570S, Mercedes SLS AMG, Ferrari 488/F12, and so on took over.
I find myself admiring the retro supercars more than the modern supercars when I’m at a big car event.
I agree. The era of the murcielago has the old school appeal, but I cannot help but adore the 458 italia, and that era for Ferrari. I think the Murcielago was the golden era for Lamborghini, and the 458/F12/La Ferrari was the golden era for Ferrari.
Also, really happy to be an early subscriber! Woot woot!!
Welcome mate! Thanks for watching and subbing!
The cherry part 🤣🤣🤣
Great video, very engaging!
Thanks for watching 🙏
Put the camera forward, it's better to see it as if we were driving.
Possibly something for the future!
I used to have a telesto LP640 in my late 20's (now 43) had many cars since then..
it's still the best car I've ever had, in terms of sound and presence.
Sold it for 295 back in the day, there are 5 examples & now it costs nearly 1M usd where I live 😂 (istanbul)
670SV is the most what Lamborghini brand presents imo,
hoping to get an SV in Europe someday, (preferably arangio atlas) and hold on to it forever ❤ shoutout to the owner, enjoy yours in good health
Thanks for sharing mate, best of luck in finding your unicorn!
stunning car, the sounds are pure madness 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Madness is the perfect word
My most favourite Murcielago. Was kinda unfortunate when they nerfed it in NFSW.
They did nerf it. And they nerfed it in Need For Speed Carbon too. Somehow the developers thought the Audi R8 was faster -_-
My all time favorite dream car🤩🤩🤩🤩 , nothing can replace it
It’s a good choice! Beautiful car🤙
This guy is the new Doug DeMuro. Doug out. This guy in.
Very nice of you to say mate, hopefully not Doug out, he does great videos and is a genuinely nice person, but if I can make content people enjoy, that would be amazing!
Cool owner. Great video.
Indeed he is man, thanks for watching 🤙
I've seen a manual 640 - there is actually one for sale by me in South Florida in green. I believe starting price is $800k'ish, willing to trade for an Aventador + Cash.
Apparently there are 4 manual 670s in the US - the chassis number and owners of 3 of them are all verified, a white one (Chassis 3957) was crashed and rebuilt.
There is a missing one (Vin ZHWBU8AM2ALA03490) - I believe there is a 100k reward out for it to simply find it, lol. Apparently Orange, went to Singapore, and then got to China recently.
Then there are 3 manual 670s in Europe - 2 verified, 1 mystery vehicle, believed to be green or blue.
Finally, there is a super legit conversion in Asia (Number 30/350) - Someone converted an auto 670 into a manual using all original parts and diagrams. It's wingless though.
There are also a few manual 640's out there with original 670 SV bodykits, I personally have no idea how they would get ahold of that, but apparently that's the case.
That is very interesting, thanks for adding this to the video mate!
@@carcaveofficial I would love to have a 640, I have a Huracan now, I’m just hopping they stick around for a while and don’t get “too crazy” in price.
It’s sad to see everything going EV, I fear Lamborghinis release in 3 days will be a complete departure from their lineage and what makes them special.
I just wish all the kids like me who grew up wanting a V10 or V12 could work reasonably hard and afford one, but it’s seeming like that will just become harder and harder. We will see though.
Great video btw! I enjoyed it :)
@@coryestewart I know what you mean, it is how I feel about the 640 & the 458 italia. It already happened to the Speciale, it is simply unattainable now, and as we move further and further away from the cars of out youth...it just seems to get harder and harder to reach them.
A thing of pure beauty
Agreed!
I love this car ❤
As do I!
I will own an SV. Gotta keep digging. My favorite car, a very close 2nd to the F1.
That is high praise to the SV, and I think it is deserved. Despite pricing for the SV going through the roof, I still do not think it is appreciated as much as it should be. It is the last of an era of, in my opinion, proper supercars and hypercars.
@@carcaveofficial I couldn’t agree more. And it’s acceleration numbers are very close too. It’s a monster.
It is a monster. Driving it was unlike anything I could really describe, and when you jump into a modern Lamborghini from an SV, it feels very docile and tame.
@@carcaveofficial this is the very reason I love Vipers. I’ve got a lot of experience in them and they feel that way too. Very angry and raw. But the Murcie is on another level. In every way.
I have to get my hands on a viper for the a future video…
My friend bought a lotus from lamborghini st louis and they had an sv in the showroom, small wing pack. I believe it was an e-gear, and the car does look better with the big wing, but the small wing ones are much rarer.
Much more rare, but I agree, with this car the big wing finishes the look!
i like your sound, it's present
Thank you, and thanks for watching 🙏
Mexico sure looks a lot like the 210 east freeway and Baseline avenue
Funny how two very different cultures and countries can have such similar design's for their infrastructure.
This car is actually a bargain being 1/186. Many others are worth more with more way production numbers (cgt 599gto etc)
A bargain might be a strong word at over $1,000,000.00…
Someone in my state does have the 6spd version of the SV. Nowadays, they’re essentially priceless (especially since one of them was totaled).
A 6spd Murcie SV with a RWD conversion + full titanium straight piped exhaust + better wheels/suspension is my all time dream car.
Crazy to think that is a multi-million dollar car now!
@@carcaveofficial
What’s the official curb weight for these cars? Do you know? I’ve heard some say around 3900 lbs & some say around 3500 lbs
I believe it is 3450 lbs, but not sure if that is for the manual or the E-gear
I was looking to buy a Murci back in 2009 which was next to impossible so I waited for the Aventador.
Aventador is a car I’m working on trying to find for a future video!
Duude... i think i saw u guys. On the 210? Upland Rancho Cucamonga?
Nope, in Mexico, where it was 100% legal to travel 65mph. Which is how fast we were going.
goosebumps
I had goosebumps for a week after filming this
what a car, what a spec!
Indeed!
im not a guy who likes lamborgini but i have to say, thats the only lambo that i would buy only because you can get it in manual and it looks WAY better than a huracan.
It’s from a different generation where Supercars were exclusively for the insane, the best era of performance cars in my opinion!
That's it. I'm going out and driving my SV when the rain stops.
You should!
@@carcaveofficial It's been raining in San Diego lately. I can't wait to get the SV out.
Rain is over! Time to go for a drive lol
@@carcaveofficial I did!
Murcielago - Nooo
Murchelago - Yess
I will work on it! I try to be as accurate and correct as possible in my pronunciations
I’ll take this guy over Doug demuro any day. Subbing.
I appreciate it mate! Mr. Demuro does some great content as well, but I am glad you enjoy my reviews!
Vinwiki did the research and there were in fact 309 Murcielago SV's produced.
Good to know thanks for sharing mate!
@@carcaveofficial my favourite car of all time, and one that I will own before the year is out 🤞
Best of luck mate, even with more made than Lamborghini officially claims, its still an excellent collector car!
@@carcaveofficial What is the name of the colour of this particular car? Me thinks Bianco Isis......
I’m not quite sure honestly, I didn’t get around to asking the owner..
my first dream car is rigth there
One day mate!
The murcie had a 6.0 leter v12
It is the greatest lamborghini. I agree
I concur!
The greatest is the Countach
Audio quality leaves a lot to be desired.
I know….improvements have been made since this video, all we can do is continue to learn and provide better quality content in each video
I have interesting information for you.
manual version is the greatest
Yea but IMPOSSIBLE to find
@@carcaveofficial i find it online and drive it in Assetto Corsa. What a car! 💯🔥😬👌
You are not alone in sayjing the Murcielago is the best Lamborghini!
It just is!
The murcielago had a 6.0 leter v12
The SV has a 6.5L V12 mate
What the hell is brake horsepower
661 hp
The proper pronunciation is closer to "Murthielago", not -Murtchielago-
Murcielago means the Bat bro not a bull
It was named after a Bull
only if there was a manual option.
I thought they actually build a few of them??
I think you are right, they did. They also built a few without the rear wing, with a lip spoiler instead. But those are unicorns only for the eyes of better men than me
Murci engine revs slow due to the long stroked engine. Diablo revs faster. I have both 🎉
The end of your comment is quite a flex lol! If you are ever open to it, I'd love to do a video of your Diablo!
lAMboRgHIni MuRCHEel-AgO
Meh, Diablo 6.0 or GT is better
Those are great…but I don’t think as great as the Murci SV..
@@carcaveofficial But the Murci is an Audi. The Diablo is really the last hand-built analog Lambo... 😁
No no no.
This is not the beat the best is
The diablo gtr.
Idk man....I think this SV is. The Diablo GTR is amazing, but I think the Murci SV is more iconic.
The owner is a rapper wannabe? 😅
Not at all, really nice guy.
18:28 V12 Howwwwling. Nuthin like it.
Unlike any car I have ever driven...
Great job on the video, just subscribed!!!
Thanks for the support! Glad you enjoyed it!
