You explain finger waves so much more simply and easy to understand than other tutorials.
Absolutely love it! So cute!
I loooooove your hair tutorials!!

Thanks so much for this, I have a Gatsby themed ball and this made it super easy to style my hair properly! :)
I've watched a lot of hair tutorials for 1920 hair because I have a prohibition party I'm attending next week and I just have to say I love your video it's very helpful! I know a lot of finger waves and stuff because of the little beauty school i have under my belt before I had my son but it's been a while and needed a refresher lol! I also just ordered a headband very similar to yours not by the same person tho, so that's another reason why this video was so helpful!! I also have tattoos and seeing another girl doing 1920 that also has a chest piece makes me feel more comfortable about the style...sounds weird I know!
What a lovely compliment!
I love your videos! Thank you for the inspiration to try something new and the instructions to do it.
Your tutorial is one of the more helpful ones I've seen on making pincurls! I go to vintage themed events a lot, and even when I have had my hair professionally done the curls look more 1980s than 1920s. I love the suggestion to use sea salt spray as opposed to a wet set look. Thanks so much!
That looks like such a super easy way to do finger waves. I can't wait to try it!
you look absolutely stunning with no makeup
Omg finally this video came!! Thank you Cherry!!! :D
Absolutely gorgeous!
WOW! You look amazing!
Love your videos on hair and makeup
I love your tutorials......I have learned so much from them :)
I love your hair, and I love your videos :D You're a great person, I just want to hug you! ♥
Thanks for giving me the look for my chanson-concert! Amazing!
I LOVE this!!
Loved this!
I love this hairstyle
Your videos are fantastic!
Thank you for posting this video! It really helped me complete my flapper costume!
This was really fun to watch and awesome job with the tutorial :)
I'd LOVE to see a Bonnie Parker look!!!
Yes!! I love Bonnie Parker's look
I absolutely love this thanks sooo much x
Thank you so much! you are so helpful! I am doing a history project and i have to dress up as a 1920's flapper girl! and you just saved my life! :D THANK YOU!
I'd love to see more 1920's and 1940's hairstyles please!
I love your tutorials! I dont trust anyone elses
Love the way this turned out! I love the way you did the bob...much easier than the way I do it! :D
I love all your tutorials :) they definitely help me out a lot because I'm in the vintage style as well. I've been looking for a good tutorial for this particular style. It's my favorite era that I like to write about in my stories as well as use in my appearance ^_^ You're fantastic and I love your style!
thank you so much! I'm totally using this for my Gatsby themed prom this week!!!
I must say I really love your video tutorials Cherry and you're a role model for me, you're so beautiful :)
Just with any style, you learn new ways and adapt. Pin curls were traditionally done with a wet set-- but I use a curling iron for the same end result. I try to teach vintage styles in a quicker and easier way. That is the beauty of our modern era!
Thank you so much Cherry! I know I've been bugging you for a long time for this video!
Doing this look for my senior day tomorrow! (where the seniors get a ceremony where each senior walks down the isle in our auditorium to a slideshow and song of their choice)
My friend sent me the link.. absolutely LOVED this! 1920s styles are my favorite and this one really broke down the finger-wave look for bangs! Thank you so much. I'll definitely subscribe to your channel. :)
I love your hair ^^
Yep!
Love it!
Nice results and tutorial
Haha yep that was me! You definitely should have said hi!
Thank you! Added!
Amazing!!!!
Yes please do another flapper style...:)!
love it!
Like mentioned below, a full-head finger wave tutorial would be really cool. Anyway, great tutorial! It seems relatively simple (if time consuming) and is very pretty! Nice job.
I have done a few!
love it !amazing ! thank you goddess
YAY thanks for this!
love it I am going to try this one:) thanks for this one.. you look pretty:)
I thought her hair was brown when the video first started and was surprised to see that it was pink! Anyways, awesome tutorial! Can't wait to try this out!
Your hair is so beautiful
I adore the 20's hairstyles! This is sooo pretty and fun! Have you ever done a Veronica Lake look?
I love the 1920s 1930s era
You look like Marion Cotillard in Midnight in Paris. Great look; if my hair held a curl at all I would try it in a heartbeat.
Gorgeous .. wow
Just added!
Hey Cherry I am in love with your videos! I was wondering if you could do a Victorian/Steampunk makeup and hair tutorial
This is really cute (though I do think it's cuter without the headband)! I would love it if you did more 50s styles too! :)
Yep! Just use more pins!
This video makes me wishI had long hair again :( Fantastic tutorial, thank you so much.
You can get bigger bobby pins at the beauty supply store. And criss cross them to reinforce the strength and hold.
You look great!
I'm totally gonna use this next time I got swing dancing! I have this gold sparkly dress that has a very 1920's flapper kind of style to it so this hair and makeup will be perfect! Also do you think you could do a Mary Pickford inspired look?
even using the wet gel method people need clips for assistance, although they usually use longer clips. i think its great that the style can be done with either
LOL! i dropped dead laughing when i read your comment
I tried this with bobby pins and it worked just fine
Thanks so much unchainedmelody! x
Thank god I found this so I can do this for prom!!
Hello! I am a big fan of yours & a big fan of Lucille Ball. I would love to see a tutorial on how to achieve her classic, curly updo.
Sweet! Thank you! =)
Wow!!!
Now i know what i'm doing with my bangs for prom!!!!
Please do all the tutorials. Thx.
I'm not sure if it's your style, but I would love to see some 1960's hair tutorials. Thanks!
i about cried when u brushed though the curls lol i liked it better with the riglets
Already done! And it is linked in the video :)
I have a great Gatsby party coming up, so this will be great for my costume :)!!! Could you please do a seventies hairstyle Lilke
Oh you're gorgeous!!!
It is the salt spray by O&M.
wao beautiful love it :-)
Wow, you looked great, and I think I will be able to do something like that.
Do you think you could do some sort of funky geisha look?
Keep em' comin'!
So pretty
Awesome thanks
This video isn't about victory rolls-- but I do have several videos about them.
Hey, Cherry! Love you videos! Can I use bobby pins instead? Thanks!
I just love your videos and I think you are just beautiful and so awesome.... I wishI had hair to do this kind of stuff but since its so thick & very curly I can't. Any ideas?
Is your whole body inked?? AWESOME!
@Taylor E I agree
awesome
You can take a section in the back of your hair and make a ponytail, braid it and pin that to your head. That will give you a secure base to pin the rest of the hair to.
We do fingerwaving in school! Its so difficult, this way is a faster easier technique
I apologize if this has been asked before, but how would you suggest adapting for very thin hair?
Thank you very much; love the tutorials!
I love your hair! Just wondering, would you ever dye your hair another color?
Hey I never really comment on your videos but I think I saw you yesterday at Disney's California Adventure! I was too shy to say anything but I do want to say that I think you're very pretty in person!
cherry i love your vintage hair! ik you like marilyn and bettie, but can you do a Jayne Mansfield tutorial?
I would love to see a tutorial on rita hayworth 1940's hair. Her common style with a deep side part.
Thank u! :)
I love watching your videos but my hair is so different being mixed my hair is curly so I try after straightening it. But I am new to the vintage style. I try to do the pin curls and when you pull them out its usually just needs to be pins. Mine does not I have to unwind the curler and then roll it back up and pin it. Am I wrapping it around the curler to tight maybe?
