This is my go to style when my bangs grow out and my hair just won't cooperate with victory rolls; I'm So glad you did a vid on it though! I never used a flat iron since my hair is naturally flat, but I may have to have a go at it since you showed how to do it. Thank You a million times Cherry!

i think the best part about using the flat iron is that it makes the hairstyle a bit smoother and not so frizzy.. very classy love it

I have that iron in that design too! I never used to flat iron my hair because it always looked horrible, but I bought that one and thought I would give it a try anyway. What a difference it made. I normally buy the cheap drugstore irons, but this one worked so much better for me. I do have a Conair curling wand that is awesome, but the drugstore flat irons never work for me. I think maybe it's because they don't get as hot as this one does. I did try to curl my hair with the flat iron a few months ago and I can't seem to get it right, so I'll stick with my Conair for that, but as far as flat ironing goes, that iron is excellent.

This is my go to hairstyle! I always do this when I don't feel like doing my hair (bc it's easy & 'looks' like you put work into it lol. It always gets compliments! However I have never tried curling my hair with a flat iron! I'll have to try that.
I love it! My mom used to use those combs all the time! I forgot about them. Next time I'm shopping I'm going to have to pick some up, my hair is Lon and heavy and I have to use a ton of bobby pins to pull my hair back like that. Thanks for the vid :)

Wow, I do that hair style all the time. I have longer bangs. Like, the same length as your hair is sitting at the end of this video, to get the poofed up hair I just take a section twist and pin it back. I just want to get some pillow curlers to get the nice curls going on that you have.

I love this video and I'm attending a wedding next month and I want to recreate this style. If I curled and pinned my hair the night before and slept with it in, would it be more likely to make the curls last longer? I need the style to last all day ideally.

Just roll it, cover it, iron it, pin it and wait for it to cool down.

And second can you do a tutorial of 3 I guess victory rolls I dont know the name of it exactly but I had a rockabilly friend in high school that would do her hair like that and it always looked nice♥ I hope you know what I'm talking about but its 3 victory rolls hard to explain but if you get what im talking about I hope you make a tutorial thank you♥

I went back to Bettie bangs and I am debating on keeping them because sometimes I want to put them back can you show tutorials on ways to style bangs if you don't want to wear them down? I think it would be cool because when you do go this short you're not left with many options, and the growing out process is annoying at times!

Just practice! It is tricky at first.

Oh! Just a quick suggestion. When I was trying to do this look, I had a hard time doing the back of my head, when you do another hair tutorial, could you somehow show us how you do the back? It was so hard for me to do :(

baybe she "forgott" or just skipped it because she has demonstraed it in her other vids and assume we knoe now how to do the back. ;)
The back is done the same way as the front. I just part it down the middle and pull it off to the side to be able to see it in the mirror.

You're never too old! I'm a rockabilly pinup model and done shoots, car shows, burlesque, tattoo events and when you go to bigger conventions, you'll see the age range. It's from young, mid, to old. Never an age limit! 😎

T. Stites I know I'm totally late on this comment, but I'm 35 and rock my own version of vintage/rockabilly daily. Also, I'm pretty sure Cherry is in her mid-thirties. The great thing about classic looks are they never go out of style!
