Food look nice, a tip for getting the “sexy looking dumpling” as you call it 😂 is to allow the dough to rest 30 minutes or more before shaping and cooking. Resting the dough will allow the gluten in the flour to relax, just like allowing a steak to rest before cutting to retain the juices inside the meat. That will give the dumpling a smooth surface. Respect
Beautiful presenter dish. I wish i vould have a plate right now. Thanks again for your teaching. Blessings and more blessings to you. One love. 💙 is ❤️🇯🇲💯
Salted cod is one of my favorite things ever. The texture after it's been de-salted and cooked is fantastic. I use it in a stew called "Halászlé" which is a spicy Hungarian fish stew. Traditionally it's made with whatever fish that didn't sell at the market that day but I think it's better with salted cod.
Yes, Jamaican breakfast can sometime be heavy because in the countryside the men work on the farm, digging and planting. The children walk a long way to get to school. And yhe womem are home cleaning the housr, washing clothes by hand and preparing to cook dinner. That's how I remembered my life growing up as a kid in the hills of Jamaica.
Good day sir. You have just bring back my childhood memories dumping and butter. My granddaughter loves it too she is. Six years old UK 🇬🇧.Grendmother is Jamaican 🇯🇲 well done you make my mouth run water. Enjoyed it love 🇯🇲🙏🏾👍🏿
My mom was a boss at peeling green banana with the knife and also an awesome cook RIP. My brothers "inherited" that akill. Me, i cut and run them under warm water and the peel comes off easier or i cook them in the skin. I enjoy your "classes". Keep teaching, like a boss🙏🏿
WOW !!! Clean nice cooking . He explain sooo intelligently. Great job keep up you nice clean decent cooking and your English is great a round of applause for you. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🇯🇲🇺🇸
You can make coconut dumplings/spinners with the pulp and add it to the run down; they do that in SVG but they call it boil down and usually use 🥩 meat but similar principle!
I don't do white flour dumplings... never, cornmeal is a must. And -- I don't use the seeds in my scotch bonnet peppers either! Also, I put a little oil in my food pot, especially when green bananas are included. My granny's recommendation. I grew up with my grandmother in Clarendon 61 years ago. Great videos always! 👊🏾👍🏾💯🇯🇲
Hmmm!! delicious. I love it! Is it okay for me to get some please? I am asking you to please make the arrangements for me to pick it up thank you very much. GOD Bless you.❤❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏❤.

My Jamaican hubby remembers mackerel rundown from his childhood. I don’t like mackerel so I am willing to cook this version with salt fish. My boy love his food but goodness have so little cooking skills. 😏 I will cook this and give him a nice treat. 😊 I don’t want to get up 5 AM to cook this for breakfast ….LOL , so it will be his dinner ! This dish have lots of steps so I can’t get it done in time for breakfast . 😅 Thank you for your videos ….. because the older generation don’t cook these dishes anymore , they don’t have the energy level and their kids who are in their 50 - 60’s won’t spend the time in the kitchen and learn these dishes. He wants me to make sweet potato pudding ….so do you have a recipe for that ? If yes, please share . If not ….could I motivate you to do a video for it ? Please and Thank you !

To get the best of iron - cook banana in skin; the yah was peal too deep. I would imagine the trash of the coconut is preserved for BLUE drawers, rock cake etc... I would have put the fish first - flavour the green seasoning, some tomatoes with carrot, then mix to combine taste for 5 minutes. Add the fest of ingredients. I drew the more matured coconut with water and boil until the oil presented itself - custard nice. Any form of boil food and you good to go. Love how you cool coconut water for consumption!
Met cocosnoot wanneer de sap er uit heb gehaald je kan het met suiker stoven met vanille lekker droog stoven kan je met lekkere warme puntbrood eten lekker

Hey ♥️🎉🥰✅👏🎄❤️
Have you ever ate plantains raw like the ones in video?
They can be eaten raw, some types are sweeter than bananas, but most are starchier
I will like to know what is the name of your blender please
JSW 1800W
I make TOTO with my pulp
What kind of stove is that
A portable one for camping, caravan, or one for a very small kitchen.
It's a single-burner induction stove-it heats just the pan, super efficient!
@shirleyfrancis4515 Yup!
I love mackerel rundown.
Yo me family, when di Drops video a drop? Or you drop it already?
Wow wouldn't even think of carrot into saltfish rundung
Maybe I am old but I don’t know it that way.
"yak, that's so good?"
🤤
interesting I guess it is based on the Indonesian coconut-milk based curry 'rendang'
It's kinda similar especially in its name but this dish has its roots in colonial Jamaica...this dish is extremely Jamaican🤷🏾♂️

Where in Jamaica are you from to claim rundung (run down) is a breakfast staple?
