    .............................................................
    This is the all-new Skoda Fabia!
    Now for starters, the new Fabia isn’t exactly unique. Once you get under the skin, it’s pretty much identical to a Volkswagen Polo or SEAT Ibiza! The question is, does this new Fabia offer enough to sway you away from its German or Spanish counterparts?
    Well, let’s take a look at what’s new. For starters, the exterior design has had a full redesign, with an all-new grille, LED lights and a huge ‘SKODA’ badge at the back. It’s also been redesigned to assist with drag, from the alloys and even the size of the side mirrors!
    Once you step inside, it’s fair to say the Fabia has one of the nicest small car interiors to sit in, with super-comfy seats upfront & in the back. You’ll also find a fair bit of tech, such as a digital drivers display, and you can even get a panoramic sunroof, too!
    As for performance, there’s a choice of three petrol engines to choose from (that’s right, no diesel or electric options!), with the top-of-the-range being a 1.5-litre turbo petrol with 150hp.
    So what do you think, is the new Fabia the must-have small car of 2021/22? You’ll have to keep watching to find out!

      It seems odd Skodas aren't sold in the US and Canada, as they could readily use the VW service network. Skoda use VW engines, transmissions and many other VW parts. VW have owned Skoda for 20+ years..... Here in Europe, Skoda consistently achieve higher customer ratings than VW in ownership surveys. Build quality seems every bit as good as VW, and occasionally even better.....

    • @dorianmanto7513
      @dorianmanto7513 ปีที่แล้ว

       @Brian The reason is it would lower VW sales and compete with them. At the end of the day, Skoda is managed by the VW group for which the Skoda is simply an "economy" brand that doesn't get the same high specs features (polo with a 2.0L petrol) and permission to enter other markets such as the US or Canada.

Rear lights however use relatively little energy so not worth the higher cost to fit as standard. This is because although demand for a vRS version of the Fabia would be strong in the UK and Germany (where it would be badged as an RS), unfortunately, as there wouldn’t be enough demand elsewhere, that wouldn’t be enough to build a strong enough business case for a new Fabia vRS.

      380 litre boot is/was the same capacity as a Golf Mk7...... Sod the badge snobs. A current Skoda is probably built better than what they're driving.....

    I hoped for that plastic part on the top of the dash to be soft material. The quality overall looks really good.
