I placed an order, realised it was gloss, then cancelled it before it shipped because I don't want to get scratches on it! I still like how it looks so I'm not sure if I should go for it or not.
I totally get that. I've been a bit hesitant to use it because of the gloss, but so far so good. No scratches yet. I just wipe the prints off afterwards so it still look nice on the charger.
Do like me brother, I play with plastic gloves ;)
Excited to get mine, will be coming in the mail Monday. I'm curious if it's actually limited to 1983 myself.
I'm a little disappointed it's glossy as well, I couldn't tell from the photos on the site.

@@RedBandanaGaming got mine and it's amazing! Not as big a fingerprint magnet as I thought it would be. Looooove the color of sticks, really like that brass gold color it has and the weight of the sticks are great.

Well.. it's 5 months later and they now have these back in stock again. I think they're outright lying about it being limited.
Or they never actually sold out the first time. 🤔 Either way, they aren't being honest.
They got us again. FOMO. I purchased this thinking it would be limited. I have it. It's nice. But um...they're in full stock now. These companies are pissing me off with this BS tactic they're using.

I’m split - on one hand I’m frustrated that they use the FOMO tactic to get people to panic buy, but the other I want a little extra stock (for those that may not have the money just yet). Glad you were able to secure one and enjoy it!
Anything made in modern times, under the guise of limited availability, has the potential to suddenly not be "limited" if the original manufacturers decide to produce more.
This has to be one of the best looking Switch controller Next to the Zelda one! I agree with the gloss but I could deal with it and limited as well! This would be my main.
