Everytime Touker says he is out, he will just turn to his left to look at other dragons.
Well, he would just be looking at a wall the other way
@@dominicharvey6048😂😂😂
@@dominicharvey6048 It's the way he does it, to enjoy their reactions. Most Dragons maintain eye contact with the entrepreneur.
I think he does it mostly when 1 of them disagree with him.
No point turning right 😂
Sara really impresses me, she has the perfect blend of amiable and assertive without the smug arrogance of Peter or Steven. Not just along for the ride like some previous dragons, - she missed a trick here but fair play for going against Peter and Deborah - love to see it.
I think she is the only one who has empathy.
Steven almost wet his pants when they mentioned tiktok
😂😂
It's a young person thing. Notice how he gets along best with Sarah Davies.
Just a quick google and I can see this product is available in heaps of stores here in NZ, it looks like they've done well. Good on them
Wait that’s so cool, it’s always great when shark tank or dragons dens products make it to NZ :))
Are you a bogan?
how can they get so much inventory for that much money?
Kaiako are actually allowed to touch children here though!
Where is N.Z
Well done Sarah for standing her ground. Deborah cant turn down Peter. When he says jump. She says how high
It's probably because they already have joint investments, so she knows it will work well.
Sara should have pulled out the TV shopping card. ‘it’s a very demonstrable product’.
tiktok is basically that now, but on a giant scale
@@hundredpercentxTrue. But QVC & the like still have a massive , altho' older demographic, who spend billions.
It would take half a nanosecond to do that, not the long drawn out tedius performances they do on shopping channels.
The reason it is better than spray on is because you don't get maced by a product , Also for those with asthma , don't have to breath in fumes from a spraying on a product.
I end up rubbing the spray in anyways because I get paranoid that it's not covering everything.
For sure! Have you ever tried to console a child who, in a fierce effort of independence , ends up spraying sunscreen into their eyes? 😩😫
I didn’t like Sarah at first but day's gone by she has showed her intelligence. She put money on Throtful with Steven for 5% equity, merely 40k and now thortful has a net valuation of over 40 million pound (or 35 million) which means her investment already made 2 million pound value. Very smart and intellectual human being
I believe it was jenny and tej who invested in thortful card business. Theres a video there.
I'm surprised Deborah didn't ask to see the patent!
Production probably has checked that already.
These pitches can be an hour long or more. We miss alot on the cut version.
if Theo was still on he would have smashed it against the floor and acted smug when it broke
lmao. i miss theo@@bailzzzzzz
Probably cut it, only interesting if they don't have it.
Peter and Deborah have been there the longest so they will always have the edge in entrepreneurs' minds
Sad reality is that Sarah doesn’t have the name/ status to successfully win a deal on her own over the other dragons. We’ve seen this consistently.
Peter opened the door for a three way split. It was her own lack of vision on the global scale of this product that created a moment of madness not to agree two a three way investment deal.
Sarah is rich because of her dad's invention. I'm sick of her acting like she's a business genius. Her dad is the genius.
What did her dad invent ? @@alexojideagu

Saw this on Boots online in the kids section, definitely will be buying when my kids get old enough, great reviews on it.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
One of my favorite DD moments. Great pitch, great product, great people. You love to see it.
Genuinely wonderful to see cheery, happy, and excitable Peter Jones coming out on this one hahaha, such a difference from his usual cool, dignified manner.
bought a couple of these about 5 years ago, great product, still use it!
They should have said it can be used to apply fake tan too, they would have all jumped at it 😂
This should really blow up well for them. I can see special needs/on the spectrum, elderly with exterity problems using this. Best wishes
especially with an incredible amount of Licensing Copyrights, Disney, Pixar etc, etc
my worry is , how is it any different to sprays? Literally spray does exactly the same
@@DavidL1986 % of people using spray is actually quite low compared to bulk liquid supplies.
@@DavidL1986I suppose there's a chance with poor eyesight from the elderly and kids , spraying into the eyes idk
@@DavidL1986This won't choke you like spray does
Sarah didn't holdback I rate the confidence to go up against Deborah ans Peter
*delusion
I feel sorry for Sarah, on her own she would have been good.
she shoudl have shared it
She would, but Peter is honestly just the strongest dragon in the den, so if he's up for grabs thats pretty much it.
She could not think strategically, she just made it easier for Peter and Deborah and realized it after she finished talking
Sara
Literally my favourite dragon
Spray goes everywhere also into eyes etc so better is rollersponge for kids, the patent itself is worth it!
Touker is an expert on sun screen. On everything.
😂😂😂😂😂
Touker knows the sun doesn't shine very much in England
@@timtaylor8406
😂😂😂😂😂
SPF is important to use regardless if the sun shines or not.
This product is a new version of the old shoe polish bottle with a foam top. Clever idea. Wish them well with Deborah and Peter.
Old!! Still use that type of shoe polish
@@Sam-qh1sh
😂😂😂😂😂😂
You're right! I forgot all about that.
you are right, i wonder how they manage to patent it, there is an existing show polish liquid designed similar.
That's the risk with patenting, particularly in the US. Their patent system is currently so broken that any big company with enough resources can apply to have their patent reviewed and invalidated on the grounds of lack of novelty or obviousness. For challenged patents current invalidation rates in the US are 84% according to US Inventor. If they ever do find themselves in that position at least they won't have to fight the legal battle on their own. Just spare a thought for the thousands of other brilliant inventors who have had their patents infringed and later invalidated who didn't have the resources to fight back. I too wish them well. Those two ladies are charming and their friendship seems quite sweet.
Absolutely brilliant… Well done
I could imagine the product being used to e.g. apply topical medicaments
All 5 star reviews on the sales sites throughout NZ in 2024. Going strong.
What a cracking couple, hope they're successful 👍🏾
These two really know their onions! 😮
Anyone going in that den with a skincare product would want Debora, I mean look at her😍this is right up her street, she knows exactly what she’s talking about!
Cwmbran! Binging some dragons den, was not expecting to see someone from my small home town of Cwmbran :')
Love this product ❤
I've bought one of these for my daughter to use it on herself and its great
Sorry i don't mean to be negative, but how much is really going on the skin? Seems like half if not more is saturated in the sponge, plus you need a decent amount of sunblock for it to work well anyway, application with this seems super thin.
I would of said to Peter, "Make this product your 2nd tik tok video, and we have a deal
Tidy little product pitched really well. Peter asking Sarah who her contact at Disney is, was a particular highlight.
I think even if Sarah had gone to 15 %, she wouldn't have been able to to get the deal.
an applicator that can apply cream (or maybe oils or other unguents) to the back solo would be worth its weight
That is an amazing invention. So simple. I'm getting one.
Never heard of this But I can imagine for younger children they would struggle with a spray so this sponge is ideal
The moment they both teamed up sarah should have stepped in and went down a few percentages
Peter played The Stuffed Onion perfectly here, a very interesting pitch.
What’s the stuffed onion?
Seriously don't understand how Touker is even an investor
Because he’s an experienced, wealthy businessman? What don’t you understand about that?
@@alexcalhoun1382I think his point is that he never invests in anything.
He is probably one of the best and has invested in loads of people..
The stingy one is Sarah.
He only wants to invest when other dragons want to invest but no one ever wants him over other dragons 🤣
The sponge is a great idea but the roll on you can buy roll on Sun cream.
I knew Pete wanted to share with Debby.
That moment when Laura and Kelly accepted Deborah and Peter's offer was so heartwarming! It's not just about the investment; it's about finding partners who believe in your vision.
Great idea!
Got one for the little one it's absolutely brilliant I use it too
Debra could use a bigger ring
Accepting an offer without even consulting her business partner tells you all you need to know
They just discussed what they would and wouldn't accept.
I have this product. Is amazing!
Well done
Well done Peter and Deborah for splitting 10% each
I really think they should have chosen Sara--this is one of those times where being a mother is really very helpful
I’m curious why you think this? Perhaps it’s useful to be able to relate to the consumer, but this particular product is easy to understand (I’m not a parent and I recognise it would be a challenging problem to deal with). In this scenario I do think it makes sense to be with the dragons that can provide the most opportunities to get into retail / licensing deals, which Peter and Debra would be good at.
Debra doesn't have any kids?
Debra has none. Sara has two. Peter has five or six. Touker has a very young daughter. I'm not sure whether he is on his first, second or third family now given how old he is. @@xToronto416x
Being a mother isn't stronger than knowing people that can get you into global markets, or open other doors. Most of the dragons would have kids anyway. And this isn't a "mother" product either. It's for anyone who wants the convenience and functionality of the device.
If Sarah said that her contact in Disney is Mickey Mouse she would definitely secured the investment. 😢
I thought the granny was the girlfriend.😂
Pitcher in blue is stacked!!!!
That's ripe for Minion merchandise.
This can't be new because I had something like this when I was a young child... so two decades ago.
I’m actually buying this for the kids now. Really good product
"The romance that brought them together" Thought they were a couple for a sec there.
I thought Touker would have jumped at this investment? Anyway, the pair got the best two Dragons for this product to really hit it big.
No touch policy..never heard of that
How do you put it on your back then
Well there's no point looking right 😂😂
Don't know if this has been asked before, but does Peter have a second Suit?
I'm in love with the woman in the lilac top !
Completely not related but Peter needs to buy some bigger suits he's popping out of that one. I'm sure he can afford it lol 😆
And to this day, no Disney collab was made. What a bunch of liars.
That doesnt mean discussions didnt take place but there may not have been the business case or the cost may have wipped out all profit.
This was quite recent. How do you know it ISNT going on now?
That's business.😁
Why would you want to be associated with such a WOKE brand in Disney anyways!!
@@matrix35 Because they are a remarkable multi billion dollar organisation created by one of the worlds great artistic visionaries Walt Disney who changed the entertainment industry forever. Or not - if you are terrified of woke.
Awful decision from Sara, she had no hope once she excluded herself from sharing
Madness, sheer madness. Why did she do that ? Probability all three working together in the investment could have gone for 7.5% each = 22.5%
@@motiveintentionsincerity1925I really don't know why she did that, I'm sure she regretted it instantly
Yeah, I found that decision a bit strange. Obviously they were going to go with Peter and Deborah over her. She shot herself in the foot there.
Its a simple product thats got useful applications and a pair of smart convincing and knowledgable people promoting it.
Could you imagine how boring the show would be if they were all this good?
Jenny’s not there but she’s out
claiming their kids “fell in love” and then fantasizing about their kids getting married etc is weird.
On the last known figures they are currently (April 2024) turning over around £1.2 million. So a significant success, but not yet a blockbuster.
ALL SPRAYS are a health hazard! The LUNGS hate them!
Baloney. I’ve been applying liquid on my leather shoes through a bottle with sponge on it. How can you get a patent
Patents run out. Shoe polish with a sponge applicator has been around for ages.
You would think the BBC would know how to write turnover correctly.
I felt that they should have gone with Sara
Turnover is one word. Dragons needs the apostrophe. One short title, two mistakes 👏
They must be gutted.🥴
I have big idea … honestly. Don’t have any idea how to start it .
Deborah is in love with Peter huh?
This product has existed in Hong Kong and other parts of Asia for about 30 years. 🤔
The Peter/Deborah combo is really tired.
I'm surprised the miss "I'm gonna save the planet" is not concerned about plastic products when they can make a ton of money.
Plimsole Whitner same concept.
I hope they develop this with a long handle for disability use and maybe an articulated joint so that people alone can apply to their back with medicated lotion etc. The possibilities are endless tbh.
Should sell them in bulk to schools with the schools name and logo on.
Sara will still be buying some at least
When Peter says "competitive" he means, greedy big headed and wanting more then everyone else, competitive would be a better offer, not worse
If he was competitive he'd have undercut the other offers
You have a distinct lack of imagination and understanding of what competitive means.
You are such a casual...
@@jakecooper5855 really? A competitive person would be expected to do what it takes to succeed. Apparently someone thinks that if he mirrors the other offers like a sheep then he is competitive
@@edward9643 Apparently you don't have any imagination either. Watch the video again and listen to Peter both selling himself and downplaying the other dragons. Then have a think about how that could be a competitive action. He wants to both beat the other dragons and get the most equity possible.
So is it 10% each making it 20%?............or 20% each making 40%?.......That wasn't clear to me
Great for fake tan too!
When the entrepreneurs asked if they would be willing to team up, Sara made a strategic mistake. Even if she truly believed she was better off investing alone, the entrepreneurs already signalled they were looking for multiple dragons, thus effectively ruling herself out of the deal.
Total earner
Teachers can you just need to give written consent
Nice people
How's that got a pattern? There shoe polish with the same function?
Because their patent is in the context of the application of lotion
Pattern 😂
what’s new NIVA has been doing this for years
They are selling a pack of CARCINOGENS
They've missed the biggest market of all - drunks in Ibiza and Magaluf 😂
This is a licensing play sell it to the big brands
Sarah would have been a great partner 😢😢😢😢
From Australia: there's sun in England????? LOL
Please help I am in the danger!
