An international sensation, Dragon's Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

Her company has gone onto be a well known brand that's doing really well so good on her
😁❤❤❤
Her business recently just 1 second ago blew up and burst into flames and went bankrupt.
Why its terrible it will soon go out fashion and bust!
@@danquaylesitsspeltpotatoe8307 Wrong, it was sold and she is now richer than you and the pathetic hater above you will ever be =)
@@Alec_Reaperno it hasn’t!?😅🤣 it’s in every boots and WHSmith and airport I’ve gone into
I must have missed the great marshmallow craze 😅
Gozer didn't!!!
Are you the keymaster?@@anubusx

I give Gozer nightmares...
@@BenjaminGoosei am the rizzmaster
Exactly what I was thinking 😅
The first and only time Peters reggae reggae line got rejected 😂😂
Peter forgets it's not hum that made that sauce successful it was levis passionnfor his brand
Some times just going on the Den and getting the exposure/free advertising is the Win.
Good for her that she is doing well
So hot.
She'd probably do better if she could pronounce marshmallow correctly.
no longer a director
@@FreezinFury No longer even an owner?
I respect her for not being down. She has a great personality & mindset.
She has done well without them
shes done really well and sold her business in feb 23 for an undisclosed sum.
I buy these all the time had no idea it was a dragons den thing. Good product, they are tasty
Thanks, Harriet.
That wall gives better advice than the dragons
😂😂😂
She entered the market at the right moment with the right product, and she sold her business at the height of her success.
Eat your heart out, dragons. This girl can teach you a lesson or two.
To be fair they have done that all their careers that’s why their Dragons 😂
if they bought in at a 650k valuation and its now worth £1m...hardly a crazy return
@@mythicalj891 You're just inventing a figure. Source?
@@mythicalj891 thats cap
They can't invest in every one and it's her that turned the offers down anyway .. she had two offers so u don't make very much sense ..
“It’s strange to me you’ve gone down the marsh mallow route”. Great line.
Bought mallow and marsh a dozen or more times in the last couple of months and had no idea it was on dragons den
Likewise!
She walked away and still did well 👍🏼🤩 good for her!
Good on her for sticking to her guns. Sounds like the product is still doing very well.
I was eating these over 10 years ago - had no idea it was on DD. It’s a great product though
I have forgotten these were on Dragon's Den. I buy them all the time. The raspberry ones are brilliant. So glad she has done well for herself.
8:23 Duncan copping a feel.
You're wrong for this 🤣🤣🤣
hahaha
Ah yes, those freaks with the shoulder fetish. Sick individuals.
Maybe he's checking if she's a shape shifter
lol
I love these marshmallows but had no idea these were on Dragons Den until now 😂
Never let greedy investors take over your business. Investors don't always know everything and surely don't have a crystal ball. 65k for 40%; get out of my face, Peter. Ridiculous offer.
It’s great advice for new entrepreneurs!
Was 80
Annual revenue in the millions. She made the right choice by letting them go.
Giving away 33-40% would have killed the company.
Peter so rude and arrogant after she rejected his offer with that statement.
Not really the only arrogant people in my eyes are some of the people who go in there looking desperately for thier help she at the time had a buisiness which was essentially losing money not only that she didnt know her numbers when ask if and when she got the investment
Could you try adding some punctuation so it doesn't look like your messages are written by a hyperactive toddler?@@curnal-ward
@@curnal-wardshe has access to the money and is smart enough to give clear and rational projections whereas most ppl just double year on year out of nowhere. She did and said everything right. Peter was arrogant at the end for sure.
I like Peter. But he certainly doesn’t like it when people disagree with him.
@@ianrae1546 if you want to see Peter at his worst, you’d have to find it from a random TH-cam channel that uploads full episodes with incorrect titles (like wrong season and episode number) because during the sweet mandarin sauce he literally goes off on the sisters insulting them in the most disgusting way you could imagine. He then learns they already have an order from one store by popular demand worth more than $250,000. The dragons all look at him smiling and make comments about their success just to get under peter’s skin and Peter makes the most angry douchey face you could think of. In the official upload they completely change and edit it out. He said many things but one thing he does nonstop talk about is how it isn’t good enough and will never work. They prob make more than reggae reggae sauce now by far.
Seen in many shops but never tried now I seen episode I will defo try it next time I see it 😅😅
What is this marshmallow craze theyre talking about? Seems like ive missed it completely 😂
I dont know what all the fuss is about,no really my thing,
Actually a product I purchase a lot, their salted caramel marshmallows are great haha
They are everywhere now bought them in a store in Gibraltar for the first time, still eating them , think she gonna make it by herself 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Merry Christmas and happy new year
Yay well done for sticking to your guns and what a beautiful genuine person
I find it strange that 99.99% of people have never had fresh marshmallow from a farm, so crazy right.
Good on her... Stuck to her guns. Strong like bull 🐂
Piers asked for a business plan instead jumps to forecasts lol.
Kelly hoppin' out once again! 😅
She’s worse than Jenny
She has the characteristic of her name, she just hops out!
@@GeorgeRoper_ I did see one where she did actually.
She wouldn't know stale if she looked into a mirror
Looks like it was recently acquired but no sale price was given
1.6 million pounds plus a residual income deal
@@Haywood-Jablomie they were doing £3M in annual revenue in 2019.
If she sold for only £1.6M, the recurring revenue deal must be really good. But even then I don't think this figure is right.
@@mrgyani It's just what she mentioned on Twitter a while back , I don't know how accurate it is though.
Nailed it 👏
They are available on amazon now.
It's still being sold nice
I've just looked on Amazon and when I checked on Mallow and Marsh it comes straight on, brilliant to know that there are times that Dragon's Den are the fools. not listening to Harriot.Well done!!
I used to get mine from Holland and Barrett.
Well done Harriot on your success.
Always buy them!
Kelly walked so that Jenny could run(out).
Piers Linny is such a useless dragon. I've never seen him even say anything constructive or interesting in the Den. I knew he wasn't going to invest and I knew he would give a boring, cop-out reason. Glad they got rid of him. I similarly think the same about Kelly Hoppins. People make fun of Jenny, but she has proven to be a shrewd business woman. Kelly and Piers though, absolutely useless.
Agree on Piers and Kelly. Has Piers even invested in anything? I never remember seeing him invest even once.
Also, I once commented on some DD video after Evan Davis said “but something is troubling Kelly Hoppen” which I quoted and then wrote “Everything troubles Kelly Hoppen.” I got a ridiculous number of upvotes on my comment. Highest I’ve ever received by far.
You’re absolutely right!! His face tells you exactly what he’s gonna say before he opens his mouth! And on the rare occasions he does say something semi-useful, it’s always delivered with a lethargic/apathetic attitude.
True he is a greedy selfish sheep 🐑🐑😞 he don't like to give his money . Dumb 🙄
Also Sarah bull 🐂♉🐂 greedy selfish don't like to give her money 💰🤑
I miss James Caan and Richard Farley, they were both exceptional dragons. Always looking to make investments and provide helpful feed back to the contestants
The Dragons are greedy. Well done for walking away. Good luck to her.
That's why they are called dragons.
Dragons are mythical creatures so whats your point?@@eyeandisinclair821 These people are greedy vultures who care for nothing but money.

I love them I did see this on dragons den good on her
The product is very different now, doesn't seem luxury more fancy
What’s it called now or still mallow & marsh?
@@Joeyyy28 same name but they are now either bags of a few or in bar form
i seen them in the shop and whatnot and they aint bad ya know. like fancy marshmallows or whatever if u catch my drift. i'm not surprised the dragons went for that really!
An episode I haven't seen 😮!!
(Eating chicken nuggets while watching this.)
shes so sweet good luck.
Bravo
so when was the original show? A Date, instead of season and episode that says nothing to me.
2014
The forgotten thing is using bovine geltine rather than porcine which traditionally probides a better set but is typically more expensive
But
It also means that the market share is there for religious grounds over no porcine.
@T_Perkins - You are forgetting vegetarians. I won't and don't eat regular marshmallows precisely due to beef gelatine.
Peter playing the reggae reggae card again.
He does love his Reggae Reggae sauce, it's better than singular Reggae sauce.
It’s his only true big hit since dragons den started in 2005. He talks about it again and again.
Peter knew it would be successful hence his offer and disappointment by way of his "sweet" comment which if I had been on the receiving end of from such a successful man, would cause me to realise I had missed the point of his approach and made me accept. His reference to Mr Levi Roots says it all. History tells us he was spot on!
How come i've never seen this anywhere then?
They are in Waitrose.
Her valuation wasn't off. It was only 1X this year's revenue.
No, they were doing 3M pounds in annual revenue in 2019. Must be way more now.
Wow we sell many of these at work too.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing
I would go Peter because he is right, look at what she is getting plus his knowledge and connections it would have been life changing for her.
Never heard of them never seen them but grats to her i guess
I'm so happy that she rejected Peter and succeeded in business! I can't stand that man and I'm glad he didn't get a piece of the cake this time!
40% seems high but this like any brand creator or inventor wont be the only thing they invent or create and the 60% they keep creates the capital for their next big product or idea
Ahhh okay...
1. Ask if both are willing to work if yes
2. Take percentage down to 30
3. Once money is given back drop the share to 10% each
Just my view not want to argue with anyone.
0:35 what is '100% natural" about marshmallows lol
100% natural on a food label basically means that all the chemical compounds in it come from living things or natural minerals. There are no chemical reactions done in in a factory to produce an ingredient. Although of course things like the normal Maillard reaction that happens in standard cooking are allowed.
Oh cool, so things like arsenic and cyanide would fall under that label?@@barneylaurance1865
I don't see how still having 60% of your business is a bad thing
I think she missed a trick refusing to negotiate sensibly/fairly. The business would have then been considerably bigger in early 2023.
every so often I look at these on the shelf, but buy something I already know. I am honestly awful like that.
Their proposition was absolutely unfair. Plus unrespectful, especially Peter.
WOW! YUMMY BUSINESS
Has Piers ever invested in anything?
Love it that she declined greedy offers
What's the whole deal with Peter always being the last to speak and comment?
I guess I'm too old or maybe it's because I'm Canadian. I don't remember any marshmallow craze. Once in a blue moon I make a dessert with marshmallows....
Always sounds like Duncan _Valentine_
15 grand extra wow that is going to do a lot thanks peter lol
Rather than focus on ones that got away, it’d be interesting to show dragon investments that failed. To not have invested in something that succeeded isn’t a loss.
After seeing ghostbusters I never had these, did u guys. Dragons like to take to many marshmallows from people, happy this girl got away 🙏🙏
Wow! What a missed opportunity

They are “gorgeous “ 😋
These are really yummy!
These marshmallows are delicious
Who'd have thought you could be a millionaire with MARSHMALLOWS.....???
Her marshmallows are tasty just like her 😋 well done Harriet 👏
"The Serious Sweets Company (SSC) has acquired confectionary brand Mallow and Marsh for an undisclosed amount."
The business had assets north of £800k in 2022 so I imagine Harriot is a millionaire now =)
… but it had also accumulated £470k in liabilities. It’s important to look at the complete picture!
@@christopheradderley6902 I'm not here to do a deep-dive on the accounts mate, or to be pessimistic... just pointing out that the company seemed to have brought her a decent income and then a sale. Even 800k minus 470k isn't bad going.
Peter’s snide comment towards the end was completely unnecessary. Harriot made the smartest choice.
So happy to see that her company makes several million pounds of turnover plus valuation way higher. Those people are not investors, they are clowns
I wish she had mint and coconut flavours out
Pretty nasty comment by Peter at the end. I haven't noticed this product in any shops.
It's literally in every single tesco, sainsburys, M&S and Morrisons. Try opening your eyes lol
Question is, did Kelly ever make an offer for anything..??
Rarely.
Her company was worth c.£290m in 2022 I believe...
I couldn't find this company's net worth anywhere
From looking into tax returns in 2021 their net worth was 234 million pounds
she sold the business in feb 23 to another sweet company called serious sweets for an undisclosed sum.
I see people make fun of Jenny for always saying "I am out".. I think I have seen her make an offer more often than Piers Linney. Also, he is a bit too stoic for TV.
Marshmallows = sugar, corn syrup, gelatine (animal bones, skin and cartilage) and air. Enjoy your marshmallows.
We used to eat animals toe to tail, so things like marshmallows, jelly sweets, are a useful thing. And virtually all cultures have always processed sugar cane and sugar beet (I'll bet you're against sugar).
Marshmallows maybe is the most useless and unhealthy product i have ever seen in my life , never touched those
No gelatin any more
The push for veganism has certainly made some foods much less healthy but marshmallows still contain gelatin. Maybe special vegan ones don't but fortunately specially made vegan processed foods are less common and taste disgusting.@@ellav9022
Yeah they still have gelatin, most brands. @@ellav9022
Spoiler title strikes again
When she said : "can I take a moment" I thought of Jeffrey Dahmer.
Its a MILLION DOLLAR business ~
