The process was the same for model GDF510PSJ2SS I wasn't sure how to get it OUT of the diagnostic mode, but I kept pushing various combinations of buttons until it came out of the diagnostic mode. BTW when I started the process, there were no lights that were lit and by pressing and holding the two buttons, the dishwasher somehow came to life
Good video, thanks! We had a power outage yesterday, the dishwasher was plugged in but not running. When the power came back on, the "Clean", "Start", and "Heavy" lights blink every 3 seconds in unison. Turning breaker on and off, waiting to power up, and pressing and holding all combinations of buttons makes no difference. Maybe control board got fried?
My problem is the dishwasher won’t fill with water. Diagnostic step 2 still doesn’t fill with water. It doesn’t even make a noise. I did the tap on the flood float, I assume anyway that it’s the flood float. It’s round but it’s not white it has slits in it and it’s in the center not on the left. This is a high efficiency washer
I’ve got a newer GE dishwasher. It a higher end and worked good. But one day no panel lights. I bought a new panel and nothing. I checked the switch for the door and that working.

I used Meter to check the Latch switch and The Latch switch looks good. Does this mean I have a bad control board?
Hi there, All lights doesn’t blink when I am trying to press the start & the cycle button together and when I select the cycle and press the start button the machine is making an humming noise and starting after a while but it doesn’t drain water too. I checked the filter etc but its storing the water doesn’t drain from the sink too. Please help!!
You can take off the motor to see if something is keeping the propeller from spinning. If not you need a new motor which is a easy job and cheaper than buying a new one

Hollywood Maintenance- hmmm... can you explain how to do this. Is this the only possible problem when the dishwasher indicates the “3 blinks”? Help- I don’t want to buy a new dishwasher if this is an easy fix!
j e could be a bad drain pump or something in the drain pump pull off and check, check drain hose too, also is it going in the disposal? If so make sure the knock out is punched out

There’s a paper underneath where you take off the bottom panel

Do you have an idea on cost?
Is that the part that could be a mechanical or electrical problem?
Fill valves run around $30
If not the full valve then you’ll need a new board

Diagnostics worked on my BDF520PGD1BB. I only got to 5 blinks on mine, nothing happened during 5 blink mode.

Sounds like something might be stuck in the drain pump. I believe it won’t go in diagnostic mode with the water in it.

Once in diagnostic mode the lock controls light is lit up. What does that mean? Nothing else lights up either.

3 blinks is the wash

my ge does not start it only beeps and doing the test it reads 7 at the end .
sissy murphy under the toe kick is a book that tells you what the codes are
I did the test and my book says blinking lights but mine has a digital display and said 7 so found out what 7 was and it is working again
So I did this and I couldn’t get anything to work.... any ideas?
