I'd checked the power, the water, but it just would not start. Exactly as you said, it was locked. And they thought the control lock was to prevent kids from starting the machine. Little did they know they've prevented the adults! My old dinosaur dishwasher didn't have such a function, so I was totally unfamiliar with that - and you saved my embarrassing call to the store. Thank you for your video appreciate your humor 😊 came across you as we were experiencing water in our GE dishwasher husband changed the drainage pump it worked and now it won’t turn on after wanting to be stagnant. Will try what you suggested and see if anything helps. It’s like the washer wasn’t completing the cycles and it stopped signaling when it was done. After he replaced again it worked but there was water in the bottom. It’s a shame that we just started using the washer in 2023 and we had our home built in 2016. Why didn’t we use it? We thought it would waste water but our oldest daughter showed that it actually saves water and so did the water bill 😂yes we were slow in our thinking. after my diswasher comes back on i can do a cycle of dishes then it turns off after an hour, then it takes me some time to get it back on the control lock is not on though
Well, apparently not all the issues are covered here... in our case I figured out that the door's right side has to go a little up for the door to get intp.the latch, and the latch start working.... and I can't figure out how to fix it... FYI, everything else is leveled...
my issue is that the control panel has lost all lights, power and reset procedure has no effect, any ideas, kinda sounds like the control board has died?

My dishwasher fills with water. But then it just makes a click sound, then sounds like a kettle boiling for a few seconds, then stops, then does it again, and stops..... It does that over and over and never starts a cycle.... What could be the issue? It's a indecit dishwasher.
Sounds like an issue either way the circulation motor. The kettle sound is the heating element coming on something that usually comes on while circulating motor starts workings. Check the main board, it has a fuse( very small round typically dark red in color or black) check for continuity and make sure it’s not open. Last I would check resistance on circulation pump and make sure the board is sending 120v. If you get 120v you have a bad circulation motor
Clean the screw and filter at the bottom are the dishwasher turn to the left and it'll come out watch that screen really good ours did that and it fixed it

nope the control will not unlock and disconnecting power to the dishwasher overnight won't reset it either
My lock control won’t go off either. I’ve tried holding button, unplugging, turn of circuit breaker, hard reset and nothing. Any other ideas?
