Nice project! In my opinion the lower sound loudness could be subtracted from higher. After fitting the resulting value into servo moving area (if i`m correct between 0 and 255) you actually can get more than 3 eye positions. In the best case it would be more natural. I`m also interested in the device limitations: 1) When the sound is too loud but still only at the one sde, would it`s position be detected as central? 2) Obviously the distance and mic sensivity matters, but how much? 3) What is minimal distance between sensors to get enough measuring accuracy? And so on

Интересная идея. Я бы добавил третье, "заднее" ухо, чтобы можно было написать улучшеный алгоритм определения направления звука методом триангуляции, а не просто на Доплере. Лайкос, подписался 👍
ну смотреть назад неестественно глазу =D А улучшенный алгоритм и для доплера думаю можно реализовать, если зафиксировать условный 0 и максимум громкостей и арифметически обрабатывать уровни шума левого и правого канала. Триангуляция вроде как сложно реализуемая довольно, да и не уверен в плане сложности вычислений - возможно унке не понравится и ли глаз слоупока получим
@@user-oo2dn2fn7r Никита, про глаз слоупока посмеялся😁. Как программист в прошлом, сделал бы похоже как сказал. Обошелся бы без контроля ошибок для экономии (учился еще во времена 8-битных систем, потому привык экономить). Ты же знаешь, что любую задачу можно реализовать разными способами 😁
@@user-oo2dn2fn7r я бы вязал вспышки на карту сразу. Потом добавлял бы доплеровский звук и вязал бы его с точками. А потом бы отправлял полученные точки для артиллеристов или авиаторов. Естественно, после подтверждения по своей методе. С праздником, приятель! Здоровья и мира тебе!

it is being used, i have indoor cameras installed that look in that direction where motion or sound are produced
I guess you use the L293D as glorified transistor to switch on off power supply to the servo so it won't twitch after destination is reached.

what's the point of that when we can just increase the field of view. Plus the microphones would require an advanced ai to differentiate between normal noises and suspicious noises.
It's amazing. On next level, Can it be such that it follows movements within a certain degree of vision, not full pull peripheral vision but upto a small degree.
