This is one of the best DIY videos I've ever seen unlike other DIY videos you actually talked about what you were doing make it easier to follow and then it just play dubstep music do all students spend half the video asking us to subscribe very well made video
this is a great project, I would add: 1. So that the application has an animation of the movement of the robo-hand. 2. Make several 3D models of the tip, for example, to mount the camera, so that it would look like a movie) 3. Pour metal into the legs of the support so that the structure is stable
What i think would be reall cool is when you build or design a camera robot for budget filming. Product filming with a robot like that would be super impressing for cinematic shots
Thank you for the great video. But may I ask you all that, Can this project be scaled up without changing the software and arduino codes? I mean 4 or 5 times bigger one..
The circuit connection shown in 6:10 is wrong. the servo pins must always connected to PWM pins .If not they will not work. The PWM pins in Arduino are 3,5,6,9,10,11. Thank you
I build the robot, but have problems with the third servo, it is not moving. i suspect the output of the arduino is wrong in the software. Tried 2 arduino's but both have the same problem. And the second servo has to be a full metal one. A servo with plastic gears can not handle the weight of the arm
I wish I had gone with a simple and efficient design like this with my current arm. Its been printing for 2 weeks and ended up being too heavy for the 5 MG996R motors that I used lol.
Great development, thank you very much for that. I'm looking for a way to program a robot arm to perform tactile movements. I want to use a robot arm to write or draw something on a moving free-form surface.
Hi! I am buliding it right now, but I have a problem to control it by Windows Aplikation. I have 360* servo (not 180), and after I change "base servo" position, it spining around whole time. Can You tell me how can I change type of servo in aplication?
Have a robot at home trying to figure out how to program it from scratch. I am using an untrasonic to trigger the movement sequence. How do you program the base servo to rotate a certain angle at a certain speed then return home or back to zero awaiting to be triggered again?
Hi, Thank you for uploading such a detailed video. I am still a beginner. I understood the mechanical and Electronics design of Arm, Arduino programming as well. I am just not sure about the software. Do I need to design a software too to control the arm??
The jittering issue may be because arsuinos are terrible at supplying power, and the draw from the servos may effect the input to the servos. This Is especially a problem when the servos are under load and even more so when a larger servo is under load. Servos are also not suuuper great for this but because they are do easy to use and Cheap to buy they make sense for a cheap DIY robot
Hi, I noticed in the video that multiple power and ground wires are combined into a single wire. Could you explain what method or connectors you used to combine these wires together? Thank you!
I used wires that come glued together and some header pins. However, what I recommend is to use tinned wires and make the connections as in the video. I put the black wires together, the red ones together and the signal wires separately.
Awesome!!!😍 It's a remarkable piece of tech. Keep it up ❤. But I have a Mac Book and will this software work on it to control this robotic arm? Love for India ❤.
I just installed Linux-arch64 on Raspberry Pi 3 B. Make sure to make the shell scrip executable. You'll also need to check Java SDK and xorg openbox are installed. Good luck.
holy cow thats awesome!! you are a saint for opensourcing all your hard work! 🙇 do you have a part list, so we know exactly what and how much to buy? is it also possible to control the arm with a keyboard, or even a joystick? you should really do a kickstarter as well!! :D
I wouldn't have thought very much. I'm surprised it's able to hold up it's own weight so well tbh, given it's only using small servos. Great project though 👍
The exploded view assembling chain was mind blowing. My mind exploded and put itself back together in the same manner.
My god this is beautifully edited!! Such an awesome project!! Keep up the good work! ❤
I agree with you
you mean fake?

You are all in 1. fullstack robotic engineer, fullstack electrical engineer and fullstack software engineer.
Super quality, excellent work. Subscribed
That introduction was beautiful !!!! Very nice project
Absolutely brilliant.
This is the best robotic arm I've seen so far. Awesome work!
Lovely video with such a nice explanation!!
Really simplified a complex concept for anyone to understand and feel confident to do as a project.

Have you considered making a master for the slave arm?
What is the current length of the robotic arm in cm?
amazing work. can you make a video on more strengthened robotic arm .ie, it can be used for household works

Brother What an amazing video, Could I ask you how to change the values from the app max 180 to 360 or more? Thank you!
hi, what type of wire do u used to solder to dc jack socket? btw love your project
Hi @FABRIcreator,
How will you eliminate jittering for robotic arm. is it not smooth as expected.... any future plans?
The jittering issue may be because arsuinos are terrible at supplying power, and the draw from the servos may effect the input to the servos. This Is especially a problem when the servos are under load and even more so when a larger servo is under load.
Servos are also not suuuper great for this but because they are do easy to use and Cheap to buy they make sense for a cheap DIY robot
Hey, do you have stl files for the servo attachments? I own some servos, but they are missing the attachments.
Hey, how long do you need for shipping your products? I live in Berlin.
This is Amazing! thanks so much, does the control application work on Mac?
how much weight can it pick up?
can i control arm with voice command
Hi, how much max weight can the robot arm hold? Could a camera be mounted to the end of the arm? Thanks :)
Hey! Servos are pretty strong to maybe… like a GoPro or a mini action camera
efforts 💯💯
were the list of material and equipaments to the robotic arm ?

Very GOOD😻😻
Does anyone know if I can use 360° servo motors? In Cults3D material list there are 3 x 1Kohm resistors, but I didn't see them in the video...
Simple and elegant, love it! How did you animate the exploded view at the beginning of the video?
Thank you very much!
I did it with Fusion360
Why dont u use rasberry py or micropython
How long does it take to print the armrobot. ?
What is the maximum load it can lift? Or even but maximum torque. Thank you.
Don't throw away your forklift 🤣
any body knows why i cant acces the design of arm?
Can you please integrate it eith computer vision and make it pick things using it and drop on desired place
I have never worked with Computer Vision but it is a good idea, I will investigate more.
which language you have used
How did you do the 3D animation on the start of the video making the robot ?
Tambien, esa parte me impresiona más.
In Fusion 360!😊

Thank you very much!!
The app is not available for Mac but I will try to make another app for it.
@@FABRIcreator Thank you ❤️. If you make the app for Mac as well, I will definitely create this project for my school science exhibition.
@@FABRIcreator You can modify this robotic arm by adding a servo motor to rotate the claw mechanism, making it easier to pick up objects.
Hii bro i am trying to buy this model in the website but there is a payment error, trying n times a day!!! if there is any other way??

Really appreciate that it is all given out, however I would suggest including the BOM for fittings, servos, etc.
Some guys will never be content with anything.
@fabricreator are you still shipping kits?
what 3d print brand and model u use?
software for 3d printing,laser engrave,cnc & soldering please...we will love a video about those 4 softwares please
Très bon suggestion 🤝🏾

Really nice project. Can I have a list of all electronic parts used in the video and link to buy it ? Thanks
Im printing it now, does anyone have a parts list. Im not sure which sevos to use as their specification vary.
hi , I would like to test my printer using your MODEL but I can not download since the website seem can not be access, Please help
How to make the connectors for all the servo motors and ardurino
The Fusion360 files also comes with the STEP?
The Fusion360 files are the entire project, including the animation I made.
If you want, you can export the parts in step format from Fusion 360 😊
@ Fabri_Creator
Good job , Please what 3D printer do you use to print the parts?
I used a FlashForge Thor 400, it is very old, right now I use a BambuLab A1, it is more recommendable.
very nice project. How can I install the software on a Raspberry Pi or a Mac? Can you make a video about this?
I just installed Linux-arch64 on Raspberry Pi 3 B. Make sure to make the shell scrip executable. You'll also need to check Java SDK and xorg openbox are installed. Good luck.
Can you Please provide a Android version For the app and please provide a code so that we can make it vireless using an esp 32 microcontroller

Its not open source when he is selling the 3d files
For what do I need a USB transformer?
I saw it in the components list on cults
will be great when U use bluetooth communication and control it with android phone/some app software
