Just finished my seat installation, this i did all these steps on the passenger side. So i did everything the video tells u to do. Then i connected the battery back and turn the car on and the airbag light came on. So i also swap the seat belt buckle from the driver side. And poom no light. This video saved me alot of money. You probably can i didnt try , simply because the rail on the base seat is high , its doesn't feel like your a part of the car , feels like your riding on top of the car if that makes sense.
So I’m doing this process right now and on my stock seat I don’t have that small box on the silver rail like you do I only have 3 cables coming from the seat .. so I’m guess I’m only going to swap the seat belt in this case ?
For passenger seat you will need the box or air bag light turns on , and be sure to remove and replace the sensors in there original position. FL , Fr , RL , RR . Just be safe .
@@JerryGsr yea I removed the bolt but there cabling that goes to a circuit board .. sorry idk why I’m so confused right now .. do I have to break all the Zipties and remove the entire seat belt buckle and harness cable and swap to the other seat ?

The recaros I got game with weight sensors so I thought I could get away with it but I guess not, I swapped the harness bar underneath already but I can’t figure out how to get the weight sensors off

Can you use the same rail and slider from the oem EVo x seat(regular seats) and put it on the oem recaro seats?

The bolt that's on there just unratched
Remove the bolt I'm pointing at , then loosen the 2 inside .

It may slide out after removing 1st bolt and the bracket that holds it , if not due the 2 after .its not hard

Driver doesn't have it . Seat belt swap it and its plug and play after
Seat belt latch on the side of your og seat , its held by a 12 or 14 . Plug in after

Yes looks like the entire cabling and buckle has to go
Did you disconnect the battery in the trunk when you unplugged the old seats or when you plugged in the seats or is that not an issue?

Just loosen that one bolt underneath the one I'm pointing at . The loosen the 2 inside .
You cannot use different car sensor . Big no.
