@@diydetailofficialwhat are your thoughts on steamer's and carpet shampooers on seats? And I thought that the hole purpose of having leather seats was if you spilt something on them you could easily clean it up, Unlike cloth and it in beds into the cloth. Your thoughts 🤔
I had seats yesterday that were so bad but I started in one small area with the least to the most critical measure without spraying on seats, from interior c&p, then rinseless, then all clean 30:1, then all clean sprayed directly on seats with ik foamer combined with a drill brush. Finally came out but didn't have to spend so much time on the last one.
I typically use a 4 way leather cleaner and conditioner to preserve the supple nature of leather and prevent cracking. Does this condition the leather too? Can I use rinseless instead of the interior clean and protect, or can i use rinseless to clean and then my conditioner to finish?
Both products will work to clean, DIY Detail Interior Clean & Protect will add antistatic and UV protection. On modern leather, we are actually cleaning the vynil paint on the leather.
I'm not sure if it was just me, but the towels look the same as when you were prepping it. The outcome is excellent, but I still don't see a lot of dirt.
Is it alright to dry dust the interior only like a hard or soft touch plastic? Compared to exterior paint where dust is stuck on and causes scratches i doubt dry dusting interior harms
I know everyone says the same thing after using clean and protect but seriously stuff has crazy good cleaning power. I’ve been using rinseless as my interior cleaner and it works great, so I’m curious where clean and protect fits into an interior detailing process. I think rinseless is a little more efficient, maybe you can clean with rinseless and apply clean and protect after as a sort of dressing? Or would it be better to ditch the rinseless and just use the clean and protect? I’m definitely going to keep a bottle in the car for quick cleanups 👍
As a detailer, keep using Rinseless wash. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. You found something that works for you and keeps you efficient, so don’t overthink it :-) Interior Clean and Protect is a wonderful maintenance product, and since we are DIY detail, it’s particularly attractive to the enthusiast to keep their interior looking nice. I could hand a family member that bottle and say use this! And it would be very intuitive for them based on the brand, the name and the instructions on how to clean their interior.. It does have UV protection, so keep that in mind if you ever need that for your interior details:)
I can’t seem to find the video you guys did of your step by step system for a full contactless wash. Could you help me out please? I feel like I’m being really stupid because surely you wouldn’t have taken that video down??
Clean your interior with one product: bit.ly/InteriorCleanProtect
I’m not ashamed to admit that it took me a second to realize the actual perspective of the camera angle haha!
Lol
WAIT ITS FROM ABOVE????
This is much proper than the way Chemical Guys shows you to do it by spraying and drenching the entire seat with cleaning solution.
Less is more
The cleaning power of clean and protect is not to be underestimated!
Right??
how about that unique interior towel
no need for brush for agitate i love that towel
i bought 20 of them

Good call.
What is the best way to restore 20-year-old leather that really has not been taken care of? There are no rips but there are some fine cracks.
We have used leatherique
@@diydetailofficial thank you, I’ll check it out

Yes
Some older leather seats had a bit of gloss
Yes, but it was rare.
Cracked leather is old leather or abused leather?
Both
Recommendations on cleaning and then conditioning please
Modern leather is coated, it doesn’t require conditioners. Clean with DIY Detail Interior Clean & Protect
How would you go about removing those wrinkles in the leather???
Unfortunately you can’t
@@diydetailofficial i’ve seen people take a heat gun to them and get them out? Or are those wrinkles to far gone
Interior clean and protect for the win!

So how do I go about cleaning a cloth seat? If I shouldn't extract what should be done?
This video is specifically about leather seats. You can extract cloth seats, one tip is to rapidly dry them with one or two air movers at a time.
@@diydetailofficial thanks for the reply, will keep this in mind.

PS. Also do you sell that system as a package? So I can revise the video with the same products?
Is this the one? th-cam.com/video/Bl6xaKP41qo/w-d-xo.html
We should have all the products linked in Description:)

How to clean a clean seat
It was far from clean
That seat looks like it’s been detailed before you are even starting to detail it
No sir 👍

Shiny Leather is not Clean Leather !
Correct
You can also use DIY rinseless on leather seats too, right?
