    I always did professional auto body work, (my grandfather did it years ago)
    A couple months ago you inspired me to add detailing to my options, now I detail clean paint dent repair and I enjoy it.

    • @dbt4334
      @dbt4334 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Detail Groove The Garcia fight put him lower on my list. It was like Broner was afraid to let his hands go. But I give credit where credit is due, Mikey Garcia is a beast with those combos. I feel like he’ll make a lot of guys be afraid to let their hands go.

    Hi! I'm fairly new to the channel and I was wondering what all purpose cleaner you would recommend that doesn't cause any harm to paint. My car's door jams are pretty hideous and I'd like to clean them but don't know what to use. Thanks!

    • @DetailGroove
      @DetailGroove  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I personally use Super Clean diluted 10:1. You can buy it locally. Any automotive APC is going to be safe if you follow these rule of thumbs:
      1) Don't let it dry on the surface
      2) Don't work in super hot direct sunlight
      3) Wipe off immediately after agitating (or rinsing)

      As far as insurance goes, no. Solely because this isn't my area of expertise. You have to call around and ask. Different cities/companies will have slightly different offerings

    Hey. I just started my detailing business. My first client was a used car dealership owner. He had about 90 cars on his lot. I charge him 100$
    A day for about 10-15 cars a day. The second day that I was working after he paid me he said my price was to high and that I should be washing the cars for 3$ a car and be doing about 30 cars a day. So yesterday was last day washing cars for him. Because in my eye there’s no way to give a good quality wash and dry and interior cleaning for 3$ a car. What would be your suggestion for me moving forward.

    • @DetailGroove
      @DetailGroove  6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      That's the way most dealerships work. They need cheap cheap work. Go get retail work from people that will be happy to pay full price

    • @jmwb4u
      @jmwb4u 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thats insanely cheap

    • @matthewmoser1010
      @matthewmoser1010 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol even $100 a day was far too low. That dealership was ripping you off from the get go. Were you using your own product and equipment? If so, I personally wouldn't even be breaking even

    • @poyo3582
      @poyo3582 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Victoria Garcia I'd doubt it....just detail your car yourself pretty sure there's a chemical guys store LA or if you have a budget go to Walmart buy a wash Mitt (5$-10$), 2 buckets( 5$ each dont get anything more than that) , get megiuars gold class ( it's the only soap worth the money at Walmart 7$) , get a pack of microfiber towels ( I'd recommend hdx microfiber towels they are sold at the home depot quality towels 10$ for 18 towels), meguiars ultimate paste wax ( this wax is AMAZING its 22$) but if you don't want to spend that much get lucas speed mist spray wax, it's faster than applying paste wax but the durability is questionable. (only 8$), get invisible glass window cleaner (4$), get any ALL wheel cleaner, or even better get a gallon of super clean and learn to dilute this saves a ton of money, get a wheel brush (7$) , buy a tire dressing/shine (around 8$) and boom there you go spend 70ish dollars and save money
