    Hi Oscar. I have a question. Do you put or use plastic protection for all the plastic in the interior when you detailing . Also how long do you usually spend on one car? Like this one how long did you spend? I usually spend five, six hours or more on one car is that too much? I am doing something wrong? Or do you have a video or can you make one where you can show what's included on a full detailing interior? I hope you have time to reply my questions. And thank you so much for your time.

    Hey Oscar, i have questions:
    1. Does having a TH-cam channel and making videos necessary for SEO?
    2. Is SEO good for people are starting out or more geared for somewhat established detailers?
    Thanks!

    • @ReMz10184
      @ReMz10184 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Former online marketing consultant here (I now run a detailing business and do all of my own SEO).
      1) No. TH-cam is absolutely unnecessary to have successful SEO. In fact it is a waste of time and energy unless your revenue stream comes from online customers/viewers. Can it help? Sure, but you want people searching Google locally in your area finding you. Not the broad base of TH-cam.
      2) SEO is FREE! So extremely geared towards new detail businesses instead of spending a lot of money on advertising. However, it does take time for organic SEO to get you ranking in searches. Start ASAP. I supplement SEO with Facebook ads until I'm ranking better (opened my business a month and a half ago).
      A website with Wix is easy to setup, relatively cheap, and has built in SEO tools to help you along. Good luck!

    Dang bro if you did dealership work you would have 600 just there + your normal private customers! Most can’t do dealership nor state because they done have TAX ID so there actually not a legit business so they don’t know that there killing there potential to make actually really great money! There’s aircraft work, boats, dump trucks, Diesel trucks, You Union pacific fleet account, and the list goes on the market is huge but I see no body else doing this work it’s like I’m out here all alone!

      Detail Groove bro bro this is a long POST 😂
      Dealerships are leads to those Ceramic coating, paint correction, scratch removal, headlight restoration jobs you don’t necessarily have to take all the detailing work nor any if you don’t want to but being a contact is very important✅just take what you can handle that can lead to an extra $50k-$250k + per year, not including your regular day to day customers $750 in a day is decent I see people say your high but you gotta be if it’s your mane income besides TH-cam and you only do public 3-7 cars a day you gotta make $ but people buy new rides everyday bro, dealers sale the coating of course they make a lil 💰off it but you don’t lose nothing because there adding there cost. Imagine $800-$2500+ per car 2-5+ per week easy because 85% of the cars are brand new some right off the delivery truck & you still have time for your loyal & new customers this excites me even sharing it because again I see no one sharing this info bro, do you guys not know this? Bro you can add 1-2 guys to your crew easy and pay them very well $1000 a week + tips and bonuses 💪🏾 We have coatings booked for vehicles that are still being built! It really doesn’t take THE RIGHT SETUP🤨just takes doing it, insurance which I’ve learned most don’t carry and TAX ID a legit business model, but it pays for it self 1000x over. Mane imma start a channel and share this information and work, I like the content you guys are putting out ❤️your making some 💰 there’s also 💰to be made and so much more growth people are missing out on then just the day to day, they don’t know that rain slows work, ice, snow, 15-35 degree winter weather can slow work with just day to day hustle and no residual income stream. How do they grow and add employees stronger better equipment, company vehicles, design, and get more revenue flowing so they actually are a legit company and look the part someday🤷🏾‍♂️ offering employment and huge opportunities that can create there company wealth and abundance for them and there family 🤷🏾‍♂️ day to day is ok if they don’t need insurance or ever need to see a doctor! they can TH-cam or work a second job and make money if that’s what they want but I figure if your gonna be a business owner bro aim for the moon, stars and have no fear of failure, keep learning and get yo Blessings💯 GODS WORD.
      ASK AN YOU WILL RECEIVE.
      SEEK AND YOU WILL FIND.

      If I could suggest things I've learned from him it's be too become mobile. 90% of your customers will provide a water spicket and a outlet. Buy a drill and get all the attachments such as wax pads and carpet brush attachment. Craftsman vac for about $40. Craftsman Electric Pressure washer for about $150. Rigid Drill $75. 10pk wax pads $20. Brush attachment $20. Comes out over $200 but there's no need to buy all at once. I started out as doing drop offs at my house only and using a house vacuum. Kept hustling until I can afford it one by one. Chemicals should never be a issue because of the amount of cars you can do for such a small cost. Don't worry about a extractor, steamer or any really expensive purchases when starting out. I've been detailing for well over 10 years. Started a side business just over a few months ago and about 3 weeks ago I quit my job and went full time. The thought of it not being guaranteed income compared to a normal 9-5 can be scary but you gotta hustle your ass off. Learn marketing and advertising for social media. Connect with your audience. Good luck man.

    How did you end up coming up with pricing? I'm just starting up and only doing a couple on the weekends right now but am trying to decide between having some packages like a basic, intermediate, and supreme or something. Or maybe just having a base price of around $100 and just adding extras based on vehicle size, pet hair, excessive dirt/garbage, clay bar and wax, etc.

    • @DetailGroove
      @DetailGroove  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I actually don't get many customers through TH-cam. I don't mention my business name or where I'm located in 95% of my videos. Even for a short while where I had a form to direct the viewers to my business, the leads were terrible. 300 people filled out the form and maybe 2 people became customers.
