Thank you for doing such a thorough job. I always want to see the action separated from the stock, so I can see the fit. Also your reloads and all the ammo you shoot. Good job. Thanks from a Californianian.
Your reviews are awesome! You are reviewing all the guns I want to know about. Any idea when the Sako 90 Quest ULTRA will hit the market. It hard to find any information at all on the Ultra.
I have been looking a bit on your videos and all are very nice and pleasant to watch. Good explaination on everything, easy to hear and understand. I gather you are a Sako fan and that is understandble :) Quite nice rifles those new Sako 90`s. I really would like to have one Peak in 306 w.
Everybody knows you can’t shoot lead free after you shooting jacketed bullets and get top accuracy. Always start with a clean barrel when shooting lead free. The two materials don’t foul the barrel the same.
Hi Really depends on your calibre of rifle. I really like the new Hornady ECX factory ammo as it has a flat meplat and in the lighter weights for .308 cal is not only lead free but actually expands correctly and dissipates the bullets energy within the vitals unlike some larger lead free bullet weights that have a tendency to pass on through with less bullet expansion.
This might be a stupid question but how expensive this rifle is why wouldn't you just get a gunsmith to build a custom rifle? I have gotten quotes for 4k for custom.
Good question, I have plenty of custom rifles in odd wildcat calibres but I guess the Quest offers custom like features and accuracy straight from the box with no wait time for construction.
There a great gun shame there's not a great supply from Sako asked the importer for a 22-250 only to be told there's a minimum 6 months wait for one had the cash waiting but gone down the custom route now as they are not worth a 6 month wait funny how they have been advertised on TH-cam for over a year yet Sako suppy is garbage
Looks like they copied an Anschutz 1782 but left out the most ingenious Sauer-barrel-swap-system which Anschutz includes & keeps the price the same as this Sako 90,.....so Anschutz on the way for me,....btw - shame on buttretta !!!

Hi As soon as I get one I will review as soon as possible.
I own S20 and want 90 quest. Finally perfect stock (S20 is plastic cheap piece of ....), adjustable trigger, if only it was available in 6.5 PRC .....
Brilliant review as always

Based on your time with 90 Peak and this 90 Quest, which would you choose if a .308 is what you were looking for?
Personally I like the Peak as for my type of shooting I don`t really need the adjustable features.
@@broadswordballistics what is the weight difference in the Peak and the Quest? I can only find weight info on the Peak.

What would be your choice of factory ammunition for red/fallow be ?, good video and looks a good solid rifle.thanks.

@@broadswordballistics thanks for your reply 👍
Did you find out if you can retro fit the new 90 trigger unit to your S20 ?
Hi there
What bullets / rounds manufacture would you personally recommend for this rifle?
Thanks
What rifle would you recommend an old School friend?

price in norway around 6k. Yes, its not so stupid idea to build a custom rifle. Pros with sako is shit expensive true double stack magazines.

It is expensive, and there are plenty of good rifles at the fraction of the cost of this one.
Maybe SAKO sells some nailclippers aye?
😬
please don't shoot with a silencer. please shoot with the original rifle. always with the company muzzle brake.
No muzzle break in England
