NEW MARVEL DIVIDED CARDS! More character cards for Super Mission Force are in the google drive folder. Back in February I handed over the reigns of creating season 2 character cards to the very talented Wiedewiet of the Netherlands. He has been hard at work building out the stats and abilities of the best X-Men and some variants to some of the more popular season 1 heroes. Link to the folder is in this videos description.
If there are characters you don't have the images for or just want to skip the photo processing for future characters you can grab hi Rez images from The Marvel United TTS module (it has EVERYTHING FROM S1/S2)
Absolutely fantastic effort. I've been looking at the (surprisingly large) amount of mini-agnostic skirmish games to use with my United minis but this has absolutely swayed me. Can't believe this hasn't got more attention yet, great work.
Hey thanks! Super Mission Force was the rule set that stood out the most to me since it allowed a ton of customization and isn't too overwhelming for new/non wargaming players.
I am just discovering this, but I am super excited to try this with my Marvel United collection! Definitely going to check out more videos and follow closely. All the best!
This is exactly what I've been thinking about but I've been waffling between this, Power Legion and Supers. Thanks for the resources, that's a lot of work.
Thanks alot! Bingo counters make great status tokens for wargames and doing something as simple as adding a sticker to them really increases the games table presence.
These are great! I noticed that Storm's card has "Power Suite >>>>>" at the bottom but there isn't a Power Suite card on the page with Magneto's and Rogue's extra powers. Should we use the "Magic Artifact Abilities" card for Storm?
This was a mess up on my end I forgot to add the Storm extra powers card to the PDF when I formatted the cards. I will try to fix this as soon as I can.
hey stumbled across this while looking for a miniature agnostic game without the annoying complexity (and being locked in to a franchise) of MCP. Loved your work ... though I wish you had shared a template file so that one could make ones own matching hero cards.
What are your thoughts on altering available minor powers? For instance, I really want a sorcerer archetype with the magical artifact minor power, but that's not an option. Do you think it would be too strong?
You would have to experiment with that one. The Magic Artifact could have an extra negative to it that could maybe balance it all out. Something like you take Psyche damage each turn or your movement isnt as much.
Question. Why did you choose the Archetypes ypu did for some of the characters? You have The Punisher as a Blaster when it looks like he was built as a Street-Level. Also, The Winter Soldier is also a Blaster? And I don't see Fearless Leader as an archetype option. Edit: can we get access to the templates you created so we can make and share more characters?
I see that Fearless Leader and Criminal Mastermind are maybe both breakdowns of "Mastermind". Still trying to figure out Blaster for some of these characters.
Sorry its been awhile the Punisher is a Blaster but he has a trade off that is -1 to Body, Move and Psyche in exchange for a power from the Street Level Archetype the details about the trade off rule are on page 10 of the rule book. Winter Soldier is a blaster even though his miniature doesn't have a gun he will always be the guy who assassinated Captain America after Ed Burbaker's run and Civil War (2006). The Fearless Leader and Criminal Mastermind are just the Mastermind Archetype renamed, the way I play the game with my friends is like Civil War and the team captains are Cap and Iron Man.
Thanks so much. I plan on making some more cards for the well known X-Men as well as the Fantastic Four. That would be something if I did all of the MU and XU characters there has to be almost 200 characters at this point.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to do both seasons yet. There are quite a few from Season 1 and a couple from Season 2 mostly the X-men core set. I'll try and do some more once I get season 3 and will probably have to make a few for DC so I can finally have HulkvSuperman.
@@dicelobster I do hope you finish up all the seasons, I know it's a lot of work but I think you already got the hard work done with the layouts and such. I hope you can knock it out, this video makes me want to look into this game and potentially using my minis in other systems
Currently working on new cards and editing a Battle Report. It might be a minute by they are on the way. I was thinking of making my own mini campaign around Thanos and the Infinity Stones.
Not in the base game but there is one in the Expansion Athwart Time, I have not played it and I don't own the expansion but the website says it has "a complete mini-campaign".

This is fantastic! I’d love to see a game in action!
Thanks! Battle reports and gameplay videos are definitely something I'm trying to get into production next year.

Thanks. I have a battle report I am currently editing for this game and it should hopefully be out at some point in September.
Nice! Looking forward to it.
This is amazing! I really hope to see more of your creation! Fantastic stuff!

I wish I had the time and energy to design and build all those cards and tokens. Inspiring indeed!
Wow! Incredible work! I love the detail you put into helping others follow along with making tokens as well.

Just found this, very cool idea and loving the effort put into the video, props to you!
Thanks!

The updated PDF is now in the google drive with Storms extra powers card.
Thanks for doing rhe work on these tokens. I have some coin holders for printed tokens but those plastic bingo tokens are a clever option.
Thanks. They are pretty cheap and look great on the table the only hard part is cutting them out in perfect circles to fit on the plastic counter.

Hey Dice Lobster, any chance you still have the editable file for the character cards lying around, in order to potentially make my own?
So well done for such a great game!
Great idea, love the reusing stuff

Can you do a playthrough. I just take super action rpg and would like to see how this one works.

@@cadiastands8 I don't have a Patreon yet. I will work on some more cards when I get a chance and finish my current projects.
Great review.
Thanks!
very nice

Great job, are you going to make new cards? Thanos would be cool with the stones of power and he's a minion Sincerely

Great, thank you very much for answering me. I translated 70% of the rules and the cards you made into French, to play with the family
Can you do a role play so we can how the game plays?
Currently working on editing a game I recently played should be out before August. I hope.
@@dicelobster awesome, I'm looking forward to it.
Yo this rules. Stumbled across this somehow. Batrep??
Coming soon. Stay tuned.
I love it
Genio!!!
Thanks!
Is there a progressive campaign system for this system?
Not in the base game but there is one in the Expansion Athwart Time, I have not played it and I don't own the expansion but the website says it has "a complete mini-campaign".
