- I was given this atv. It has been sitting in a barn for 10 years. Will it start? In this video we will clean it up and get it ready for its first start in 10 years.
Ha ha....I have one just like it (mine's either a 92 or a 94). It was sitting in a barn for more than 10 years.
I fixed it up. It now looks like it is brand new. And I love it.
The bikes from the 90's were very well made.

I just put a new carb on a Kawasaki Bayou 300 from 1987 4x2 that has been sitting since 2007 started right up and runs like a champ so far

This one is a beast. To have set 10 years in my friends barn and now we are riding it daily is awesome. I love Kawasaki's. I need to get part 3 uploaded but I am waiting on brake parts before we can finish.

Good video but I would have used a pressure washer and some soap
The reason for the lower level is that through time the acid will evaporate and when it gets to lower level you should top up with ionised water, also when you fill up for 1st time you should let it sit for 1hour and then to prolong the battery life put it on a trickle charge for a further hour before use. 👍

What years are these? I recently got a bayou from a family member and I am trying to figure out the year. The VIN number is rubbed off of it. It looks exactly like the one you have with the tore seat

I found one of them in the middle of no where with no keys in it as soon as I tried a key from an Honda rancher in it after putting an battery in it it started.
My son got one yesterday. It ran beautifully butttt he rode it yesterday and had the choke on and it kept stalling on him then he brought it home and we changed spark plug and cleaned carbs n still doesn't wanna start any suggestions? Plz n thank you
I have a 1995 300 4x4 Bayou. I foul out the spark plug after running about 5 minutes. I put a new carb. on and it is even worse. Any ideas to help me? Thanks, Dale

I can't get any fire from the CDI for my 1987 Kawasaki Bayou 300 . I had 3 different CDI , plus new coil and I still can't get any to the plug
