You know he's slowly becoming finnish when the morning starts with a coffee before even a single word has been said

  • @BylineBelife

Your English have begun to develop a Finnish accent. Cute.

  • @yorkaturr

Nobody's complaining about the lack of snow or proper winter in Helsinki this year for sure. Winter came really quick and hasn't changed at all.

  • @Aidan_Au

Going to botanical garden would help with your winter depression/seasonal affective disorder.

I got a little giggle from the video title 😂. Accepting winter is a non-choice unfortunately. This year is better than couple of last years, when there was snow, it melterd, froze over in to a bone breaker roads and repeat 😂. Just remember to go outside if there is ANY sun and don’t feel bad if the weather is crappy and you just want to stay in bed, watching movies.

How about a pool tounament with your fans one day? Would be awesome meet'n greet!

I was so surprised to see the snow when I landed in Helsinki from Tokyo - Fun fact, I chose for Finnair after I saw your videos of comfortably flying them. Thanks a lot for that!!

  • @2810Prateek

What a beautiful content!! Every second of this vlog tells me how lucky I am to be a subscriber of this channel... It is quiet scary that few of your colleagues got Covid... please stay safe and healthy and keep smiling.

I think we should have some kind of Winter Acceptance Holyday in Finland 😁Winter has been graciously snowy in southern parts, so it is easy-mode this year.

  • @Awec_

One food you should try in Finland is "maksalaatikko" with puolukkahillo(lingonberry jam). Especially from the brand Saarioinen. You either love it or hate it. Another one if you like cheese is called Aurajuusto

  • @blesstem

    yet another banger mr daiki

  • @brittatsao

Hi! Thanks a lot for the upload! Your hotpot looks so yummy!!! We just had hotpot here yesterday but the flavor was too simple. I saw you added many souces👍

Thanks youtube and thanks Daiki for uploading this video, even though I've been shopping in the Hakaniemi asian markets for the past decade I have had a hard time finding chikuwa. I can finally get this staple in my bentos! Have my sub so I can stalk where you get japanese food staples :D. Also for some really classic finnish recipes, as a finnish person who mostly eats and makes japanese food, I would love to see you make and taste uunijuusto, it's a food that has been slowly forgotten and dying out even among finns. Kulinaari has the same recipe my family has made it with for decades. You can find ternimaito at Hakaniemen halli at Kuuselan Juustopuoti, at least frozen, but it's not always in stock. If you end up making it, always pick fresh ternimaito or let the frozen one thaw out completely overnight before cooking. Please make a video if you end up making, it's really easy and so good fresh out of the oven, kind of like salty purin!
