MINERAL SPIRITS! I remove decals and dealer stickers all the time using a heat gun sparingly then cleaning the sticky goo off with mineral spirits. I own and operate a paintless dent repair business. Many of my customers want those gaudy dealer stickers removed. I remove them for free if asked. If a dealership is not paying you for advertising, then don't allow them to advertise on your vehicle. Don't forget to re-apply wax when finished.

I just purchased my 2023 Trd off-road .I needed to get the decals, off ASAP Called my detail guy and he told me the secret to removing decals, without harming the clearcoat or paint .I had no idea it would be WD-40. Works great even if it’s a sunny day outside. took a little elbow grease, but it came off and looks like there was never a decal there. Hope this helps .
@@TacoManD4X4 absolutely not brother just use the WD-40. It takes the glue adhesive off do not put any scrubbing or hard abrasive materials on the paint.

just got a 23 gen 3 trd off road not sure why youd replace the rear sticker but good to know there's cheap replacements that look great if the factory one wears off
One of the first things i did when i got my 20 sport. The trd one fits better in the hand. But i also did alot of other things too like got rid of all the chrome. Lol

Nice , I did the sequential turn signals “blacked out” ones on my 21 trd off road 4x4 , plus I added the ceramic tint , black out kit overlay on the chrome on the emblem . My truck is midnight blk.

Should also swap out the interior lighting , I did LED map light , rear dome lights, vanity mirrors you wouldn’t believe the difference it does to the interior at night 🤩🤩 & the license plate lighting
Thats a lot of miles man. I just got a 2016 TRD Sport with 40k miles for around that price range. Not much difference between the 2 years in my opinion
My TRD Sport didnt come with the black Tacoma letters!!!! All the other lettering is black but no letters on the tailgate dang. Great video man. Taillights look great. I am either gonna get the same ones or in clear red - cant decide
Im so jealous. I have the same exact tacoma all stock tho and same color. Only things i have done to her is really good aftermarket speakers bc i do not have the upgraded factory sound system, i also have a nice set of rock sliders, bc i do a-lot of off-roading and noticed that it was a weak spot of the truck and they absolutely needed protection on the rockers. But hopefully you do not live in delaware bc im going to be copying every single mod you have done so far bc your rig looks amazing haha

The first mod you should install to your new 3rd gen tacoma is a new gear system. I recommend the 4.88 nitro gear set. Even for a stock tacoma. The factory gears are a goddamn atrocity. Not sure what Toyota was thinking when they put them in but there should be a class action lawsuit and full blown recall on them.

@@Jerlemi2 I did revolution gears for mine. Im with you on 34s being the biggest. I dont plan on doing 35s. Have you trimmed your fenders for more clearance? Ive been thinking of doing that

I got the American flag tailgate incerts for $17 on Amazon and they were also this plastic with the good 3M tape

Use a little blow torch on the sticker ... just enough to get it hot, the paint will stay safe and the sticker on the body comes off easy.
I saw you didn't have a TRD shift NOB looks dope and feel good in the hand 90 bucks out the door and vary easy to install

Ditzler Acryliclean (DX-330, I think) works SO much better than Goof-Off, and is safer on the paint. And it's pretty inexpensive, to boot!

Buy yourself a rubber disc that fits on your drill takes off the vinyl and adhesive. No muss no fuss fast and easy.

The tailgate inserts are not standard. They are part of a blackout package thats about $150 or so.

Don't use goo gone. Wipe away excess glue with acetone then use buffing compound combined with a little elbow grease. Wipe clean with microfiber cloth

DONT USE GOOF OFF, it will destroy your paint.... Use 3M adhesive remover, just straight alcohol, or GOO GONE but 3M is the best
