I was taking the Mooney for a long flight, but at the same time I wanted to go for a walk, so I had the AI do the piloting while I was gone, in case it landed before came home. When I walked in to my apartment, and the plane was just getting ready to land. The only thing the AI had problems with, is parking the plane, so I did that myself. lol
Great demo, thank you. By the way, Landing Ribbon reminded me of the golden age of FSX, when I found something similar in Rod Machado's lessons integrated in the sim. I learned to navigate through those brackets in a Cub, if the memory still serves me well😉
I've found that using the taxi guidance for take off to be the only way to get the sim to reliably log takeoffs. Also, about 50% of the time, when I request a runway for takeoff , it will route me to the reciprocal rwy. sigh
I've been flying a bit in the Xcloud version of the game, streaming the Xbox version to my tablet and using a bluetooth controller and the AI can be helpful given the lack of keyboard. By default though it likes to throw the AI pilot on whenever you activate the cursor mode which can be incredibly annoying.
Nice video ! Questions: Can the AI Pilot fly all the planes in the MSFS 2020 or just a specific set of planes ? If so do you know which planes the AI Pilot can fly ?
Yes -- The AI pilot has a MIND of its own. It does NOT seem to follow your FLight Plan, but rather just flies itself from Departure AIrport to Destination airport. ie even if you have a FP, it does NOT follow the Magenta line !! (which is a Great shame) ie It Ignores the AP, or more correctly, does NOT use it or turn it on.

It's having a copilot and I love it. They can handle radios or what have you while you focus on flying. Sorta as real as it gets LOL

the game can play by itself! The game no longer needs a player! This AI is incredible.
(You could even save energy by turning off the screen.)
😂😂😂
Thanks P, Great Video again!
Love the stuff you put out! :)

Do the assistance options work with complex add-on planes like the PMDG 737 and the Fenix A320?
It's the old stick pusher trick again! LOL.

with the teleport to increased altitude, how do you get the altitude down to a lower?
if you dont mind me asking what screen recorder do you use ? what do you do to upload it in HD ? is it recorded while your monitor is at 1440p or 4k?
Is there a way to get the ai to actually land the plan down on the runway or no
Very nice video. Thanks.
Thanks for the video.
