Hi friends!
Today at home I will try to make something like WD-40.
What will we need?
The first is an old bottle of medicine or some cosmetic product, a vessel for mixing, and the very ingredients of our "dish", namely:
1. Machine oil.
2. Refined gasoline.
3. White spirit.
The proportions for mixing will be as follows:
- 1 part of machine oil
- 4 parts of clarified gasoline
- 4 parts of white spirit.
Pour everything into a mixing bowl and mix well.
In fact, everything is ready, all that remains is to pour our home-made product into the working vessel.
That's it, our WD-40 is ready!
Use for health and remember about safety!

this video does not explain anything.what the heck is white spirit? I have white gas in a can that was for a heater, is that "clean gas" or you mean fresh gas from the gas station? what kind? regular or unleaded, premium? and what# motor oil? sa30, 40?
Any kind of motor oil and regular, unleaded gas, aka benzine. White spiryt is white spiryt, so hard to use google? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_spirit

Бензин занадто летюча речовина, я б використав гас, він більш проникний і не такий летючий.
would lamp oil work? or should I wait until k1 kerosene is back in stock? or does it have to be the yukky kind from the gas station?

Nowdays pure gasoline already is difficult to find but clear spirit is impossible.
Preferably gutrot or similar “products”

Da quello che si vede 20 gr olio motore, 80 benzina e 100 gr di acquaragia. Ma tengo a precisare che il wd40 non è a base di olio, perciò questo è un sostituto. Ciao

@@pattiannepascual no worries, same stuff has different names in different countries. If you want to make your own maintenance fluid; it’s 40% mineral spirits + 40% Clean gas(Naphtha in UK and USA) +20% non detergent light oil(sae20 or 2T/2 stroke oil) don’t use any oil or modern engine oil.
