Great job Martin as always. I noticed that the original window unit had an extra hole in the top where as the repro one didn't. Simons head fits in the hole and that keeps him upright, but shaving his backside does the trick.. Hope all is well with you. Stay safe and well. Cheers Chris 👍🏻🇦🇺🍻🏁

That's the earlier P1800 he drove in the series, bodies were built by Jensen and featured cow horn bumpers. The later cars he drove had the straight bumpers designated 1800S 'S' stood for built in Sweden..I like Volvo's, had several over the years. Great resto Martin, looks better than factory.

Hi Martin what a thing of beauty I saw one of these in a museum very streamlined shape before they got into there box shape phase. It's nice when they all go to plane and the diecast gremlin is visiting a different channel lol. Great news on the mg front she's all done and back on the road and boy what a deferens. Synchro all round and the 5th gear is like an overdrive got up to 110 kph and it could have stayed there all day beeeaauutiful. The cars speedo needs recalibrating but I have a separate digital speedo as back up. And the best news is the wife can have her car space back in the shed so looks like she may even let me back in the bedroom lol. I told her it would take 3 weeks it took 4 months lol. Great job as usual mate catch you on the next one.👍 When I started the job🧑 when it was finished 👴 lol.
