My favourite rummage box time ,mate if your looking for a pink panther try Durham that’s where he’s from it’s in his tune ,Durham ,Durham ,Durham ,Durham ,Durham Durham,Durham ……….😂,Paul restorer is the man to talk to I think. Cheers Mark 😊😊
Very nice 👌🏻👏🏻👍🏻 ...........great haul! Where on Earth do you store it all? I've seen a Commer Coca Cola truck with crates of bottles that look like brown skittles. No idea if you can get repros.......
If I was running a die cast stall and the world famous you tuber Martin Dare came to my table, everything'd be going up 15% 🤣 Micro Machines are amazingly detailed really. That Vette is from a range called Phat Boyz. I wish I was kidding. Matchbox did that fire chief hot rod in a regular hot rod too. Great haul.
That's a cracking unboxing buddy! Some brilliant stuff. I'm getting a liking for the french dinky's. Enjoyed that video. Well I enjoy them all but you know what I mean. Stay well buddy looking forward to the next video.
and right at the beginning, one high-score. :D one time I found an early Matchbox PB gas station with all cars and a homemade styrofoam insert, and then the car ramp in one shop lot, the little garage in another. and what else came with them was still worth it. :) also, nice buses. I found the Royal Tiger one at a flea market here, still has two of the tyres, and went for 20 euros only. :) 5:05 what a funky rig. looks like an english specialty. :) 6:20 "Ssss... Cammell Carab." Interesting looks. looks like a mechanical horse truck. and with a 6ton lowloader? I bet they were "fast". :) 8:50 a local used toy store had a little load of these lone-star N-scales train pieces., mostly tracks and a few waggons. have to sort it out, maybe restore some eventually. 11:15 this one reminds me of older Playmobil RVs, they also often had a big hole in the roof so you could play inside them. this one is big, indeed. might even work with playmobil figures... 13:12 even tho the mirrors are of a rather soft plastic, every kid's mission seems to bite them off... it's rare to find one with the mirrors unharmed. 15:45 looks like the James Bond version of the Lotus. or is it? 17:25 judging from the replicas you can buy of this casting, there should be two sliding pieces covering the opening. 18:30 what's also crazy with these micromachines is that the trucks sometimes come with opening doors. at almost N-scale... :) 25:35 much like Messerschmitt, Heinkel was forbidden to build aeroplanes after WW2, and they also had many pieces of plane cabin windows and frames laying about... so this bubble looks like a plane without wings for a reason. :) 26:30 this one is rare here as well, along with the Opel Senator by Siku. my guess is the not too good image for Opels big luxury sedan? they weren't bad cars, though. 28:50 what a strange vehicle. :D never seen that one before! 51:45 ah, Champion models, they are rare here, too. especialy rare in complete condition... Weetabix is a funky brand name. sounds a bit like an outcry of astonishment...
Thanks Lothar, yes I had to be very patient to get the trailer. The lone star railways are of interest, especially with the track. I'm glad you enjoyed this months selection all the best, Martin
Holy cow 😮 gee you gona be busy, loved the ship 🚢 nice lot to restore, airport rescue both look ok as is, I agee good condition, few easy fixs, have fun 👍 🍻🍻🍻🇦🇺🤝🇬🇧😎👍
A lot of interesting diecast this month Martin👍, you’ve gotten a lot of my favorites which is too numerous to mention , always enjoy your unboxings my friend and look forward to them, take care and see you on your next restoration.👋😎🚒🛻🛺🚚
Some great items there, Martin. The small army field gun near the end of the video is a Corgi Juniors item rather than unbranded. Looking forward to the Budgie items and the Crescent Scammell Scarab...
Hi mate bloomin ek there's enough there to keep you busy for at least a couple of weeks.😂😂🤣🤣 I bet the bloke who had that Dinky auto service trailer didn't realise how much it was worth good find. I love the little aircraft carrier I was doing a bit of research on the ship that my family came to Australia on in 64 the Sitmar ship The Fair sea. I found out that it was originally it was built in America as a passenger ship but then during the war it was converted into an aircraft carrier for the British navy and named HMS Charger and then converted back to a passenger ship and sold to an Italian company Sitmar after the war. It wasn't a big ship by todays standards but even at the age of four I can remember being taken up on deck and for some reason I remember the smell of enamel paint maybe they kept the rust away by painting all the time. I remember the ship used to roll about a lot in rough weather and I even fell out of bed once. We found out the Captain at the time had a gambling problem and wasn't maintaining the ship properly maybe not spending money for maintenance. A few years latter the ship had a fire in the engine room and shortly after that they scrapped the ship all together and the captain committed suicide. So on that morbid thought I'll catch you on the next one.👍🏻👍🏻🚢
Hi Geoff, glad you enjoyed this months selection, I think a lot of the old military equipment was converted for civil use ,well there was a lot of stuff laying around. Those carriers were huge . I hope you both had a good easter weekend. All the best Martin
