    Good info accumulators were a game changer for me I had them on the blue rose and after that they will be on every car I build. I'm working on finding a electrical shut off valve to turn the accumulators on and off for three wheeling I though about a extra dump but if I leave it on it would melt the solenoid but I have some ideas I'm going to try. Thanks for the shout out and keep the videos coming

      I've noticed that some seemingly similar accumulator have different psi ratings. Is there a particular rule of thumb on this? ie... Cadillac vs mini truck

    • @LOWRIDERHYDRAULICS
      @LOWRIDERHYDRAULICS  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can get different pressure ratings. The sizes I’ve seen are 200 or 350 psi. Applications would depend on the weight of the car. 200 psi would be more suited for a mini truck.

    actually, it acts more like a softer spring. it just allows more suspension movement between sprung and unsprung weight.

    Is it possible for me to get my 84 cutlass supreme a front end alignment? If so how and who should I use?

    • @LOWRIDERHYDRAULICS
      @LOWRIDERHYDRAULICS  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it’s possible. Put your car at the ride height you normally ride and take it to an alignment shop. Some place won’t want to do it. You mainly want the toe aligned because that determines if it will pull to the right or left. The camber is more of a preference with a lowrider. You’ll want the top of the tire to camber out when down which will straighten out some when lifted. Hoppers have a very wide camber in the front in order to help with the hop but street cars are more straight, otherwise you’ll eat up tires pretty quick.

    • @LOWRIDERHYDRAULICS

      @@LOWRIDERHYDRAULICS true. lets see what i end up doing. totally different question but im stuck on upgrading front pump to either cce fatboy/fuerte pump OR a piston pump... trying to get off the ground a lil bit dont know which way to go some people recommend the piston pump others say regular fatboy wit #9 marz gear... my set up only has 6 batteries btw. lmk.

    • @LOWRIDERHYDRAULICS
      @LOWRIDERHYDRAULICS  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you can afford the piston pump, that’s the way to go. Put a Marzocchi 9 in there, charge it to about 100 psi and give it hell. 3/4 top pressure port, Y block 3/8 lines to 3/8 cylinders. That’s about as strong as you can get with 6 batteries.

    Hello I have 2 pumps for the back so I installed 2 accumulators and I have 1 pump to the front with a T under the hood and now since I put the accumulators my car leans to each side and stays on a lean. Can you help me with this

    • @LOWRIDERHYDRAULICS
      @LOWRIDERHYDRAULICS  ปีที่แล้ว

      The problem is not in the rear, the problem is in the front. The T in the front is allowing fluid to transfer from one side to the other. When you added the accumulators to the rear it made the rear more of a cushion so now it allows the front to lean whereas before the rear was so stiff that it kept the front straight. Try lifting the rear about half way, then the front half way, go around a turn and let it lean, once it’s leaned drop the front, if the rear levels back out, you can see that the front is the issue. The best fix is to run another hose to the front and add another dump and check valve to the front pump. I see this problem a lot.
