There should be a task force of not less than ten people earning $60,000 per year plus benefits, paid by this officer and his pension to review every arrest and ticket this officer has issued since his hiring. Every case should go before a panel of judges, also paid by the officer to retry every case. He should then face a civil suit for a minimum of $500,000 and the assets of the department that employed him. Unlawful actions by officers need to cost them and their departments large sums until they begin to follow the law.
Why is it so difficult to say you're wrong? Because they have been trained and supported to believe they are NEVER wrong. Couple that mentality with a big ego and you get these encounters every time.
Does "Jaywalking" satisfy R.A.S enough to detain and arrest for ID? Can you be arrested for not providing ID on a misdemeanour offence if the Misnomer wasn't enough on its own to be subject to arrest?

The fact that Ignorance of the Law is not an excuse for the public but is a get-out-of-jail-free card for cops is a major failing of our justice system.
Whenever they get in a lot of trouble, they resign. What is that. Smfh
That is one *THICK PIECE OF BACON*
Theres a tool that cattle ranchers have for removal of bulls tentacles can be approved for rabid co**.
Qualified immunity has to be done away with. These tyrant cops are getting out of control. They have to be held personally accountable. They get sued and lose enough they will quit.
they have nothing to lose for acting this way. they won't ever end up in a worse spot than when they joined. at absolute worst, they're back at square 1. they have no reason to not act this way. the only thing they stand to lose is their ability to act in this way, which they Shouldn't have in the first place!
It's literally a ticket, not an offense to go to jail.
Cops are trained to lie and escalate.
Cops have that discretion to take someone to jail instead of a citation (it's really stupid).
@@tgatt5759 on a traffic ticket
How do you know this? It seems you have two law degrees
@@Scleavers Cops certainly don't.
“I need to see your ID” is not a question! Case dismissed 😂
This man should not have a badge. Period.
The cops sure like to use jaywalking to carry out their personal revenge.
💯
Lowery is a disgrace to those officer that do their job with pride (albeit few and far between).
Good cops don’t exist.
Telling someone your name is no longer a common courtesy when they use your name to run through your records to try and find something to charge you with.
I am so sick of these pos cops being allowed to resign and not charged!!! 😡🤮
"Ignorance of the law *is NOT an excuse."*
Lowrey is just a bad person and a worse cop.
He has a small wee wee.
You can tell he hasn’t been punched in the face recently
Jaywalking and similar type violations should only be charged when a person truly impedes traffic or causes an accident.
The opportunity should not even exist for a dirty cop to use this against a citizen.
watching this from Europe we are constantly shocked at how closed, oppressive and tyrannical the land of “the free” really is. Pyongyang is more like Disneyland by comparison
Can you imagine how many rights have been violated by this officer…
This is what LE looks like under Sheriff Michael Chitwood. Volusia County is a total Police State and it needs to change.
Don't you dare critique the "chosen ones" in that County or anywhere in that State .... oh no. That goes for the majority of states too. Smfh
@dtcdtc8328 You mean "The Cheating One", we know how he got elected the first time around.
We need to support James Powers, who is running against him.
He was a tyrannical POS when he was police chief in Portland Maine, as typical they fail upward.
"I'm gonna arrest you for resisting arrest"
Imagine if that were actually true. They can just arrest anyone at will? Come on. Insane belief to hold. They think they're literally all powerful.
Im going to make up bumper stickers saying that very thing. Black background with pi k letters should make it pop.
he's asking for a driver's license for a pedestrian. do we have walker's license now?
Not yet...but all too soon, I'll bet
In America a drivers license is shorthand for I.D. Easy mistake.

@@stanswaby it didn't use to be like this.
This Lowry cop is amazing......a dead end street. Jay walking - seriously?? And then all confused about arrest and resisting and not identifying, blah, blah, blah. We don't stand a chance.
"I'm going to arrest you for resisting arrest"
That pretty much says it all, right there.
“I’m going to arrest you for resisting arrest”. wtf kinda asinine statement is that.
It’s very petty to arrest someone for walking across the street that shows you they are over staffed
👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Seems like they hang around in that dead- end to ticket folks, who cross to that gas station
Common courtesy is to admit mistakes and apologize.
He's protecting the serving the shit out of that community.
Threat of arrest is terrorism
They will beat the life out of somebody for breaking a non criminal law that supposed to protect them from harm.

“Oh I know exactly what you’re talking about… I have no idea what you’re talking about “
These people really believe that they are heroes
Why is it so difficult to say you're wrong? Because they have been trained and supported to believe they are NEVER wrong.
Couple that mentality with a big ego and you get these encounters every time.
because admiting guilt invites legal culpability....

There are more criminals as police than there are in jail.
Probably more criminal cops than INNOCENT ppl incarcerated.

It's his criminal acts I'm concerned about.
and shaped like one
Hey now , there are a lot of grapes that would take offense to that statement
Does "Jaywalking" satisfy R.A.S enough to detain and arrest for ID? Can you be arrested for not providing ID on a misdemeanour offence if the Misnomer wasn't enough on its own to be subject to arrest?
Does that cop just hang out on that small dead end street all day? WTF!
Why does this dude keep getting a job in law enforcement?
He is a revenuer for the town!
Lack of qualified applicants?
All these stories would go untold without badass mofo’s like Lackluster.
" arrest you for resisting arrest" has to be one of the dumbest sentences I've heard in a while
