I live in Australia, money difference is huge from America.
Just found this guy. Most of the others I found eventually mention Jai. So I am here and love the concrete concept. Thanks, man.
Thank you for not gate keeping and helping us learn more of the craft, new subscriber here I came across your channel by accident and I’m glad I did
Love all your work, how you share your knowledge, and how you illustrate and show projects just like this one
Super teacher !! ❤
Absolutely amazing video
Love your videos! So informative, thank you😊
I'm going to try THIS and great job
Love your energy and vibe.. the info is great too, thanks for this!
Love your videos & the comedic comments make it more fun to watch!
I use a silicone mat on my work surface to help keep my table clean. This is a great video thank you!
Yes, I should get a mat. Do they sell white? What do you recommend?
@@upvibecandle They sure do sell them in white. I use one from Amazon. It’s a bakers silicone mat that’s extra large, heat resistant and washes off in warm soapy water. So long as the dye or paint is water soluble it should wash off easy.
You make all this information easy to process and with a laugh. Keep being so awesome !!!!
Hello! I’m whatching from Brazil
Your channel just popped up in my recommendations. I liked, subscribed, and am now commenting, hehe. You are hilarious, and an absolute joy to watch.
Well now you just made my day!!! You rock!
Jai you’re the best. Thanks for always sharing your knowledge with us
Awww... Thank you MM. I truly appreciate the love.
@@upvibecandlea little late with my reply but you’re so welcome. You’ve been such a huge help to our small community between the Facebook group and your vids.
Thanks!
Thank you!!!
Hi Jay, great video as always
Looking for a liquid pigment like you used in this video, not having much luck with powders :(
Using cement all as well
Loved this long form video. After fining out you danced, I immediately went to look for video's. They were great!!!!
Thank you.
The best tips, directions and formula explained! Thank you!! Going to start making my own vessels for the first time and after researching have to say, so far, liked your videos and information the best :) anyway, just letting you know all the way from Terceira Island, Azores :)
Well now aren't you sweet. Thanks for the love. I truly appreciate it!
Oohh what’s that pigment? Thank you for another great video!
Thank you so much for this video. I'm wanting to get started on this after Christmas. I'm just saving up $ because molds are so expensive compared to everything else and I want more than just 1 lol. But this is the best video on how to do it period that I've seen and you're such a cool and informative guy it's amazing.
Aww thanks for the lovely compliment.
24:59 🤣😂🤣 Love it!
Thanks just love the information. Where I am we don't get all the stuff you use, so I use white cement, washed river sand and dental stone as it's stronger than pp and it also comes in different colours. My jars come out perfect and I can demould in an hour too.
That's amazing. Love it!
Thank you so much for the shout out @3:00 and you had my company name right. Passaic + Essex Candle Studio. I appreciate that you took a chance on my technique & process. I do incrementally add the dry mix to the water, mixing thoroughly in between to catch any minute lump. Like baking, I guess 😊. And, I'd like to know your thoughts if you can tell the difference in the mixture when using very cold water vs room temp water.
Again, thank you so much! It's because of you that I started this journey.
I think I will need you to send me a step by step document. Maybe I can do a comparison video. Thoughts?
I'm up for it
Great. When you can message me on FB. It'll be fun. Want a starring role in it as well? @@ajminxy
@@upvibecandle sure!

What is the red pigment brand used?
This was a great video to watch I did not know you were from NJ I live in NY.
Did I mention that in the video?
No I seen it on your labels and some of the towns you mentioned I know where they are.
Ahhh yes. Very observant. @@CGKreations
31:34 I saw a video where a lady used plaster a Paris to cure her cement all jars super quick. I get the theory, but I’d think it would change the composition, and possibly even weaken its structure.
I just got my hydro stone today, so I’m good lol 🥳
If you are using POP yes it will weaken it. If you use Hydrostone it will still be very strong. It all depends on the products available.
why dont you have more followers ??? shocking.. with such good info videos.
It will happen. The channel has been steadily growing and I am very grateful for people like you who continue to support the channel. Thank you!
What brand pigment did you use?
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge!!! My husband and I have been using your videos to help us learn to create concrete candles. We're starting by making them for Christmas presents, but are hoping to expand to selling them (along with some concrete statuary) in the spring! You rock!
NO!!! You guys ROCK! That is awesome!!! Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
What kind of pigment is that ted dye?
Hello, What white cement do you use and where do you get it? Thank you
Hi, what is the name of the pigment that you used?
Does the C3 wax throw scent good? Oh and which 3D printer do you have? I think that’s going to be my next purchase!
Nevermind. Should’ve checked the description
HT is so subjective but for me it's great. I have no complaints with how it throws. If you are curious you can always buy 5lbs to see how you like it. Here is the link to the 3d printer I use. www.amazon.com/shop/upvibecandle/list/2I6BAJ0HWPDNO?ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_d.
Do you have any advice on how to fix wax coming through my concrete candle? Even though i seal them with two coats of earth safe finishes? Over time it seeps through the walls and you can see a dark wax spot on the exterior of the candle
Have you tried mortar mix (the quick set)?
Yes but I created it myself. Concrete Alternatives for Candle Jars
th-cam.com/video/0RJypw_vkoQ/w-d-xo.html
Is that spring or Distilled water? Does the type of water matter?
Hi Jay! Great to see a new video on the feed'. I just have a quick question, what sealer for Hydrostone is "second best' in your opinion? Hydrodip is unfortunately way too expensive for me (I ordered the 32 oz in October and with shipping costs and the brokerage fee from UPS (yeah, that happened lol) I ended up paying over $100.00 Canadian. I also didn't do my dipping properly and doing my test burns I'm getting seepage (oil stains?) on the side of my vessels that I sealed (or thought I did) with Hydrodip. I can get Eco-Sealer from Amazon CA at a much more affordable price but you mentioned in your Hydrodipping video that I would have to dip the vessel 137 times for it to be effective. I'm torn, help! 😅
Unfortunately I haven't found one that works outside of ESF. I tested a bunch that were for concrete but they just don't work.
@@upvibecandle Thank you for letting me know, I appreciate it 🙂
I have a question. Why did the start doing concrete candles last year? But I had a lot of health problems. And I want to start up again. Is there any way you can reply and let me know how to buy? My first metal, the things I need my starter kit. I guess you would say cause I don't know what I need excepthora concrete. So if you could let me know I would appreciate it. And I love your videos. I love your personality and I've learned from you so far so I will keep watching. Thank you.
Hi. Thanks for your comment. My course will help you get started and save you time money and headaches. Looking forward to seeing you in the community. theupvibe.com/course/
Can I use rit dye powder?
I have never used it but theoretically yes... but the liquid is already prepared so keep that in mind.
1:02:54 UPS is absolutely insane for shipping 🙈
Agreed
Hi Jay - luv your videos! Which red pigment did you use in this video?
Thanks!
Thank you so much. That was very thoughtful of you!!!
Thanks!
Thank you so much for your donation. I truly appreciate it.
Thanks!
Thank you. That was very nice of you to do that. I truly appreciate it.
