Nice build saw some of your other videos this neat seeing a culmination of ythe changes it went through! I’m doing the same thing with my first gen right now frames done finally got the nv3500 rebuilt working on the engine currently definitely a labor of love but the end result is absolutely worth it
Thanks It’s a little bit of a learning curve but it’s not that difficult when comparing to rebuilding a 2.2 or 4.3 setup Ever need any help I’m here for questions
Awesome build, I'm going to doing a S10 hopefully over this next winter also and it will alot of first for me as well. Congrats it looks and sounds good.
Thanks It’s not as bad as it seems Depending on the model The 98-up s10 are plug and play if you find a donor 98-up Silverado The older s10s just take a little time but it’s simple stuff once you know what colors goes to what
Thanks I wanted to do a voice over explaining it some but I don’t think I have a option on I phone lol I wish mine was a 1st gen but where this one was dads I didn’t have any choice but to keep it in the family
I hear ya there nothing wrong with that! mine was my first “car” my dad and I built it when I was 15 so it would be ready for my 16th birthday to drive still had the 2.8 in it but it looked good. He passed away back in 2021 truck sat in storage all those years now I’m doing full rebuild it’s neat get to teach my son some stuff along the way.
Absolutely! Do you have an email I’ll send you some pics of the current status and what it looked like when I started. Gonna be a while for the finished product 🤣
What year is the truck? Everything is saying 94-97 bit I see an ECU from a 98+ on the Passenger side wheel well. I have a 95 and am collecting parts for my swap.( 2000 5.3) I really want to have all functions of the truck working Stock gauge cluster and A/C. Have you gotten that figured out yet? ❤ the whole s10! You have done a great job!
Trucks a 96 and engine is 99 5.3 Ecu and harness is from a 2000 z28 Yea I got everything working on the dash Speedometer wires into the vss sensor Water temp has to use a sensor from a lt1 Oil pressure sensor from 99 Silverado but isn’t accurate but it works if I every loose preasure I’ll know it Volts works off the s10 body Fuel wires matched up with the sensor in my aftermarket fuel cell It’s all pretty much plug and play with some minor tweaking to it
I got it off marketplace from a fiberglass shop outta Cincinnati and they shipped it and all for like $400 I thought it was gonna be a 4” but it’s a 2” Sunoco bubble cowl
That’s a lot of work and a lot of work pays off and makes you proud that it’s yours!!!!!
@@BamaGunsOutdoors absolutely
It’s been a learning experience that has turned into my new passion lol

Man what a nice build!!! I am in work on LS swapping my 96 4wd Blazer. It's been a massive challenge to say the least. Love the sound too!
Thanks

@@Ls_swap211 Awesome! Thanks!
Sounds great does it have any aftermarket headers or cats?
It has cheap $200 Amazon swap shorties on it
What lowering kit and how low ?
I made most of it
2” drop spindle with 3” cut coils front
3” block 2” leafs with helper leaf removed
Vicious.... Which LS?
Early 5.3 with a good size cam and ported stock heads
@@Ls_swap211 definitely noticed the port work in some of those pics
What was wrong with the 4.3? Because mine sounds the exact same alot of noise and alot off loss of power!!
My 4.3 had 260k and had set for 15yrs almost
The spider injection was bad when I finally started trying to fire it up
Where did the hood come from, I like that
