Sorry for all the anime insults in the video… I actually like anime, but I just wanted to have a couple of cheap and easy shots at the Tau Empire that would be present throughout the video. I apologize if anybody felt hurt 🥺
To answer your Librarian question for the algorithm. It was probably just developer oversight. Cloning space marines is .... difficult, shall we say and making multiple clones of the same individual in general (or just cloning ) has a few issues that crop up in the lore . The only person in the entire galaxy that can clone space marines is the traitor apothecary called Fabius Bile ,and even he can only rarely make perfecg clones
@AmonsChallenges I'm not a lore expert by any means ,but far as I recall from watching waaaay too many lore videos. There's just kinda a thing with cloning in general that's off in 40k ,shit just doesn't go right . And the creation of space marines itself makes that whole thing even more complicated probably because to clone them you'd have to clone 1.the person's genome ,2. The genome of the geneseed they have ,and presumably replicate how it bonded to them and 3 recreate whatever psychic, partially magic component the marines have . Like the cloning marines thing really only happened after Bile had access to the intact corpse of a Primarch (from which geneseed Is derived ) and presumably also some warp magic knowledge. So yeah cloning marines is .... very difficult at the best of times. Perfect clones are near impossible.
The anime guys hit like a truck because they used their isekai skills to attack you lol The Avatar of Burning Vengeance came after you because he likes anime and you dissed the anime people 😭😭 Great vid. My favorite thing about your vids is that you build your own narrative alongside the main plot without being too intrusive (like the kraken and big fish being a plot point in AoM). I wonder what you'd cook up for Warcraft 3, since that has such a nicely established story. Looking forward to the next challenge! SC2 is one of my favorite games.
Well WarCraft 3 is definitely going to have a safety inspection subplot for certain houses and boats since Arthas is very concerned about his fellow citizens... With SC2 the challenge itself is going to be part of the narrative, but that's as far as I'm willing to talk about it for now 😀
Impressive! It is a challenge that's possible (not that I've ever tried it), I just haven't got the patience to be so methodically reserved; I'd maybe have a go at doing it not being allowed to lose a whole unit... for the campagin skirmish's that is, screw even attempting the faction HQ levels.... , maybe on the easy setting!, Normal/Hard never! Far too much Micro!! >XD 10:55 - You've been caught in one of Trazyn's orbs
Can confirm, there was A LOT of micro involved in this one. The faction HQs were ok when you are able to beat the initial defense and you are able to cheese them like I did with the Necrons, otherwise they would take hours and hours to beat legit. Really wouldn't want to be playing the Imperial Guard on a deathless challenge, let me tell you that much 🤣
@@AmonsChallenges I came for AoM, but I stayed for your charisma and humor. This one starts off really well! I totally get the 1 hour vs the 3 minute joke😏 I'll tell you more once I... finish... in 3 minutes 😏
True, but I think they would feel about the same or even worse to both play and watch than this one. I would say my/your time is better spent making/watching videos that are going to be more different than this one. Thx for the comment tho :)
Great work as always, also do you plan on doing any of Age of Empires on deathless rule? Personally i would love to see AoE 3 normal or definitive or AoE 1
I love AoE 3 and would definitely like to give it a try deathless, even though it's plenty difficult on the hardest difficulty iirc But right now I have different plans and I will try to do a different kind of challenge run for a change hahahaha
@@AmonsChallenges i understand, also i think AoE 3 deathless would be a real pain... Well, we have artillery that almost one shots every infantry, and on some missions we have cannons that deal 300 dmg, so well... That speaks for itself. Also we can't forget some of enemy heroes that normal attack have 500+ dmg (i'm looking at you old man in the last mission of base game...)
@@AmonsChallenges hah, sorry mate 🤣 Still wanna see it, mainly because we have so much ways to cheese missions in AoE 3 and the DLC campaigns for this game that it's amazing. Like, the AI sometimes goes onga-bonga mode and starts to gather around one building or you build something quite far away of main base on track to enemy, enemy attack destroys it and then returns base. Also missions have so much possibilities to beat them and every unit in theory is unique like range/hp/more dmg to other types that you can think of everything... But be careful of falconets... They hurt...
I'm surprised you didn't send your units into melee when you were struggling to keep them alive against Tau, and I guess Guard. Their damage output should be much lower in melee, and yours shouldn't suffer too, too much. Was it because microing out damaged units is more difficult in melee fights?
It absolutely is, units are a lot harder to move out of melee combat where they are engaging somebody, plus when I'm in melee I'm much closer to the enemies that are somewhere in the backline so the probability of them having me in range is a lot higher that way
Yeah I thought about that one as well, I'm sure I didn't lose anybody on that mission so I guess they hardcoded that if it's a division by 0 I get the upgrade point. (after all infinity is greater than 3 hahaha) I've also read somewhere that it only triggers once you kill 200 people or more on a level so I guess that's why it didn't trigger on the previous levels.

Apologizing is for babies
WEAKNESS, IS A CHOICE.
Amon "I'm not gonna let anyone die I wanna be the good guy"
also Amon "makes fun of the Tau"

Literally everbody I know does hahahah
@AmonsChallenges Yah in Dark Crusade they buff the Killa Can health, that makes em as tanky as the Dreadnought

How can you kill something which has no life ?
Sure you can, you just have to have enough plasma to blast them to smithereens :D
