If you conquered the rest of the Valencia trade node from France (don't build manufacturies there unless you have a free merchant just hanging around) you can turn Sevilla into a pseudo end node because no one will have the trade power to transfer anything meaningful from two trade nodes already dominated by someone else. You can actually do this with several good nodes in the game like Novgorod with the Baltic, the Baltic with Lubeck, and Constantinople with Ragusa. Basically any node that only has one exit or max two (like Novgorod) that can be dominated completely.

I think you have to be Christian to form spain
