Unbelievable that you and Jaw Tooth could be at the same Crossing with no other photographers. Plus what's the odds of the CP OCR meeting a CN freight this makes it look more like Vancouver. In the last decade there has been serious reworking of the highways and railroad trackage and it all funnels down right here. A nice catch on what is actually one of the longest straight pieces of track in the city
Nice video to catch CN freight heading away from road crossing. And Candian Pacific 2816 steam locomotive heading toward road crossing. The pedestrians scared me; neither looked left and right to see if any trains were approaching. Wild guess they likely assumed CN freight moving away fron crossing was the only train. Very dangerous assumption, even oblivious to train whistles. Kudos for video of CP 2816, the three Diesel-electric locomotives and various vocation rail cars, a Dome car in mix. Nice! Thank you for sharing.
Nothing like travelling by passenger train. When I lived in Maryland, I would occasionally drive up to Cumberland and there is a Western Maryland steam locomotive there that takes you up into the mountains. Great afternoon trip. Also the Gold Coast Railroad Museum just west of Miami, Florida has passenger cars on display in their yard. Great place to visit if you are ever in the area.
A Canadian National train and a Canadian Pacific steam locomotive. What country is Iowa in??? 🙂 Also, that last car was named after Sir Sanford Fleming, an engineer with Canadian Pacific, who developed the time zone system. BTW, I was a telecommunications technician with Canadian National for several years and back in the mid 70s frequently rode freights. On one occasion, I rode a locomotive similar to the one you pointed out, on passenger train, between Kapuskasing and Cochrane Ontario. I was taking the train down to Toronto. I couldn't ride in the locomotive past Cochrane as the train was traveling over a different railway, Ontario Northland, down to North Bay, where it was again on CN track.
Please do not call people Darwin Candidates because it is actually a form of bullying in my opinion, we should educate people to make better choices instead of mocking them.
When "Darwins" do dumb things like those you videoed, you should be getting waay more subscribers than you already have. And if one of them isnt fast enough, still pictures and videos just dont fib to the authorities! Seems like you & JawTooth go together nicely when trains are involved, and Hobo Shoestring is watching it all from a much better place 😔.
I could watch footage of this train all day. I wish I could ride in that train. Love the glass window at the back of the train how cool is that. 😊❤👍
Incredible video of that historic Train and great you two Famous video photographers together!!! I enjoy you both, different styles!
Another great video! As for the guy at the crossing? States full of Idiots Out Wandering Around.

@@stevenplyler6306 Tell Virtual Railfan not to put "Darwin Candidates" in their videos first.
Don't care about the chicken that crossed the tracks, but would like to know more about how to ride that train.
awesome steam engine
Looks light old 600.
He isn't a school bus driver is he?
Obviously they knew they had plenty of time
Na. They didn't care. Its very common for people to do that and it results in death. Especially along Commuter Routes
