- Obviously there are a lot of horsepowers jokes. We had a lot of fun. It's for a 2012 nissan versa 1.6 liter. It was a pretty easy install. The exhaust is stock, but my next video will probably be with the muffler taken off.
The picture of the Versa in the instruction manual is a couple years newer than yours. It's the same model they just changed a couple pieces of plastic under the hood. The 1.8 looks totally different under the hood.

No you don't need to, but it may bounce around a bit if you don't. Stupid bracket ended up breaking later on lol
Did it improve throttle response at all?
Maybe a little bit. It wasn't worth the money to be honest. I actually ended up selling the car.
Why did you need gloves in the first place? I took my 1.8l engine apart and rebuilt it with no gloves. Sadly, if you’re scared of getting dirty from putting in an air intake, you probably shouldn’t work on your cars…
You should always wear gloves when working on cars. There are many types of chemicals that get on your skin and could get into your bloodstream. If you really worked on cars, you would know this.
So where u get the cold air intake from
Carid.com unfortunately they took it off the website because I complained that it did not come with a heat shield.
@@vinny2474 doesn't need a heat shield because it's sitting right in front of the grill
