I have similar reoccuring dreams like this. Handsome man in my dreams but as a it gets closer to me, it squeezes my throat and I can't breath in my dream. Dreams of getting bitten by snakes, people dying around me, loosing a tooth, being in wierd places, wierd incidents, etc. Was told that because I married a shaman man, but grew up and still believe catholicism, my spirit doesn't know which way to go. I am in between where I am neither protected by my husbands household spirits but neither am I 100% catholic because I married into a shaman family and practice some of their ways. Was told that I needed to do a big ua neeb ceremony soon or else bad things will happen to me. I decided that I will continue to believe in my catholicism ways and pray for protection. So far, nothing bad has happened, dreams have been going on for years, and I have nightly crazy dreams all the time. Perhaps I just have a wild imagination! Try not to think too much of it. :)

I have similar story like you. Atleast 10years of fighting the ghost every night. My wife would have to put her arms around me at night. Did a ua neeg for my twin but the shaman saw something following me instead. changed name that day and that ghost came and look at me staring into my face at night. I guess changing my name must of made me look different. It never came back. But here and there I'll since things at night and get sat on and weird dreams. lol
