What if the dissociation is there from experiencing sensory overload?
Surly you don’t want to use the senses to bring you out of a dissociative state. Dissociation is not always caused by an obvious trauma

I have a question. What if dissociation can make you feel better in certain cases past the time of trauma? For instance, I can dissociate when I don't particularly want to be somewhere but have to. If I have to talk to someone I don't like?
