      I agree - there are very few actual experts although my partner is one of them. It's been around for decades and he's worked in the field now for more than 30 years!

    I like how she brought up that AI doesn’t have to replace human connection, but can actually improve how we connect with each other... I think that's a good way to think of it

      That is my hope @lachiepturner. You get it…loneliness can happen in the company of others when we don’t feel like we belong or we don’t feel understood. Empathetic AI can listen without judgement and help us feel more connected first to ourselves and then to others!

    Once again were looking for quick fixes. It's easier to ask someone the answer instead of finding the answer yourself. We would do better if we were brave enough to look within and be honest with ourselves to do the best for ourselves and others.

    Hopefully this could really help people who are struggling with feeling isolated... I feel like every time one of my friends moves state for work they come home with some dud partner because they were just so lonely they settled for the first person who came along

      Yes @larissolfa, this is also our hope and intention. Tulsi and our whole team of coaches are programmed with empathy and to act as a companion. It's amazing how helpful it can be to just hear a kind and soothing voice and to feel understood. We believe this will be a gamechanger for loneliness and mental well being 🤗

    I don't know call me paranoid but the only thing that's made me _not_ wig out about AI is the fact that it's emotionless. Like if we can keep that side of things separate there'll still be value placed on things that humans can do that AI can't

      I get it @chesterwatson2387... and I think it is a natural human reaction. I wish empathy was readily available. As you can tell, I'm not a fan of replacing human interaction but what if we can augment it and help people do a better job of connecting to each other with empathy.

      I’m so with you on this Jodi! I usually ask two questions - can it, and should it. Unfortunately I just don’t think we’re doing a good job of reconnecting so maybe we can use it to help us not just connect, but in healthier ways.
