For me personally, my favorite game has always Spitfire vs Uprising in 2018 Stage 3. As a massive Uprising fan, we were fresh off the heels of the DreamKazper exposure: losing our star player (Striker had yet to become the Tracer god he would eventuslly be) was a huge blow and everyone was unsure of how Mistakes would fit into the active roster. The tiebreaker on Oasis gives me chills everytime, even typing this right now is giving me chills. We were one map away from reverse sweeping one of the top two teams in the League. Ill never forget how Striker and Mistakes ping ponged the point to stall long enough for the rest of the Uprising to come back. Profit throws his Pulse Bomb at the wall. Mistakes uses EMP, and the dive commences, and Spitfire drop like flies. We did it. You could on NotE's face he couldnt believe it. Striker's crying from the overwhelming emotions of it all. The team is hugging each other, beyond excited that they managed to beat the defending stage champions against all odds. It was a big moment not just for Uprising fans, but for the whole league. These young, relatively unknown upstarts just took it to the Spitfire. Uber's casting that day made him my favorite caster of all time. The week after we went on to reverse sweep NYXL in the same fashion, and then had a perfect 10-0 stage. Striker was being talked about as the best Tracer in the world, alongside the likes of SBB and Profit. Gamsu/NotE were a serious tank duo, and Neko/Kellex were more respected in their roles. and Mistakes didnt feel like a nobody anymore. It was a different time for the Uprising, and it all started because of the Spitfire match. Honorable mention to Outlaws vs Reign in 2022 Midseason Madness. That map 5 giga C9 from Reign is still the most egregious C9 in my opinion.
My fav match has gotta be the 2020 May Melee asia final Seoul Dynasty vs Shanghai Dragons the only downside i have ever had with it is the audio of the stream is like 3 seconds behind. The start of Fearless and Lips story is there.
It was a tough loss as a Seoul fan, but the fact that they even got there as the 7 seed taking 3 maps vs arguably the best team of all time is still a accomplishment it took all of Shanghai 6 s tier players playing out of their minds to close out junkertown map 7 against Seoul who only had good dps the tanks, and supports were woeful.
Another shoutout I haven’t seen is 2019 Stage 3 finals. Dragons almost sweep Shock come almost all the way back, dragons avenge the 0-40 season while playing not goats
An underrated match is Shanghai Dragons vs Seoul Dynasty in may melee APAC 2020, Shanghai reverse swept in a best of 7 match! I just wish the audio was better.
I dont think it’s underrated but for some reason people act like Seoul vs Shanghai wasn’t a big rivalry anymore for some reason… they had 4 tie breaker games in 2020, one in 2021, 3 in 2022 including the best joats game with a 6 map banger final. Yet people act like Fuel Dragons is a way bigger rivalry yet they only had 3 banger owl matches 2 in may melee 2021, one in June joust 2021 compared to Seoul and Shanghai having 9 over 2020/2022.
@@owAlizo it was only dominate in 2021, they lost 5 times to Seoul between 2020, and 2022 which was the most times they lost to any team during that span, the next closest was Philly who beat them 4 times, the point was that Seoul had the best games against them with the amount of insane matches.
Shaghai dragons vs Dallas fuel june joust grand finals has got to be my favorite match of all time. In my eyes the 2021 Shanghai dragons where the best overwatch team of all times and this is where that truly started. The Dragons and fuel rivalry was just peak overwatch and this was a 7 map banger of a series. Also Void getting the best Dva bomb of all times is one of my favorite plays in OWL history. I am kinda surprised this game wasn’t on the list and hope it makes it if you decide to make a part 2
Video idea: 5 of the worst play of all time. Here’s some memep, wub/akm blade, Tor v Justice when the caster said wtf is going on before pausing the game. I can’t remember that last one lol
no way you didnt put shanghai dragons vs seoul dynasty in 2020 May. That match was the only map 7 gigabanger reverse sweep in the entire history of OWL.
The 2022 GF was a hell of a match
Leaving Overwatch as a Dallas Fuel fan with a mid team just to return to see my team win it all, felt crazy good
Putting Mikeyy up against Fearless was like putting a toddler up against a rabid pitbull
the toilet bowl clears!! that uprising ouwtlaws game was one for the ages, truly one of the greatest watches! 💙💛
I remember the shock outlaws game all the time. I was a shock fan and seeing them lose there made me so upset at the time, but wow what a good game

2023 hangzhou spark reverse sweeping atlanta reign was insane to see in person
The first and only grand Finals reverse sweep Seoul v Shanghai was the ultra banger game
My first ever game was the state one 2018 finals between London spitfire and nyxl. Made me a spitfire fan for life
I remember watching that outlaws game live and fucking losing it when shock almost came back and ended up losing😭😭😭 great video man!!
LA Glads vs ATL Reign in the 2021 playoffs was one of the best matches ever. Super hype upset as well.

He’s also a pretty bad person who uses slurs on the regular. He was involved with that drama with Ojee and S9mm but he never apologized
