I know very little about these trucks. I was not a GM guy until I bought a '90s Cutlass Supreme. I am currently trying to get a '94 Buick Roadmaster back on the road. When I was a kid my driveway was up a hill steep enough to have fun skying or snowboarding down. And soupbox car when no snow.
My 85 s15 doesnt seem to want to engage the 4x4. I press the button down and try to shift to 4h but it just won’t shift. The light turns on like it wants to, but It won’t fully switch. Any suggestions on how I can fix it?
@@flatbrokegarage so turns out the vacuum lines are not connected at all to the transfer switch on the transfer case. My cousin checked it out this morning and found no vacuum hoses 🤦🏽♂️

This sure was a steep one for sure. Hate to see if they got snow. Good luck with the car
These little iron dukes are ruff running motors. Had one I a cutlass Calais once sounds like a tractor.
Boy, you sure got that right. Neighbor ask if it was a diesel 😆
Put the rubber hose in a cup of boiling hot water, the put some washing up liquid on the connecting pieces, will make connecting a lot easier
I never thought of that, I'll give it a try next time. Thanks!

It could be a solenoid, or that vacuum actuator
