Spencer Mullin, an attorney at Chapala Law in Mexico has indicated the RNE (Regularization) Program has been extended. To qualify for the RNE Program requirements are to have previous entries in Mexico (stamped in passport) before January 1, 2023 and the most recent Tourist Permit (FMM) has to be expired. Many people are getting a four (4) year Temporary Resident Permit with some getting a Permanent Resident Permit when all immigration fees are paid at an Immigration Office in Mexico.

My Nica wife's humanitarian parole visa has been revoked, and if the Nicaraguan government retaliates against Americans I may not be welcome there either. What a mess!!!! And we did everything with intentions to do it legally, and don't forget that we paid dearly for that visa!

I have friends who are being revoked in a similar boat. It sucks. 100% legal, at their own expense. Don't think that this wasn't the goal all along... make the poor pay, then make them work for almost nothing, then ship them home by force and pretend they were illegal... it was clearly always a scam to make money and/or punish those from countries the US doesn't agree with. And I don't just mean the sudden reversal, but the entire program. It was for such a short period of time that everyone lost money attempting to do it. It's horrible.
You should move here quickly and be established before anything changes.

is Nicaragua a valid refugee country. and most countries would overlook rich foreigners because of money. deportations are very expensive too

So, it would cost too much to deport most of SJDS. Maybe Danny could put up a wall around the enclave fishing town. "A big wall, a beautiful wall, and Donny is gonna pay for it!"

My family was deported from colombia in 2007, costa rica in 2009, both for overstaying. They have always been strict. We were in the wrong, so not complaining.

It’s Bryce. Stayed 201 days and paid over 600 dollars. Raised some eyebrows but they forgave me at the border
