    I really appreciate the improved water resistance of the bottom battery slot compared to the microlink. . I'm also looking forward to software updates that can address false alarms and implement a limit on the number of photos taken per day. This feature will prevent the entire allocation of 1,000 photos from being used up in a single day, especially when it's windy.

      even a limit of 10 photos per hour setting would prevent photos every 100's in 1 hour

    Battery will not stay charged even when facing sun all day. This is the second camera with the same problem. Spend your money on something more reliable. I also agree customer service has a real problem.

    I have the regular flex camera. I recently bought a new sd card and 2 Lit-22 rechargeable batteries. Please tell me why when the battery is at 95% it will go to 0 after sending a pic. Then it won’t take any more pics til about midnight and then my battery will show back at 94%. This happens every other day. I am not happy with this product and very frustrated.

    SIM card in camera stopped working in less than a week. Have had to return 2 out of 3 cameras purchased. Very disappointed with this product. Tech support was great, but they can't fix something that's broken.

    I have two and they are not good. The one had a few problems and the gps showed it an hour from were it was and in Africa. They replaced that one but still not working 100% and doesn't charge at all even tho its on the edgeof a farm feild and gets light all day.
    The other one lost signal and died two weeks ago. I just put the replacement camera up and it was good for an hour well I was driving home. It then sent 40 pics of nothing and is unresponsive. The cameras are about 2 hour drive one way and I have spent more in gas driving back and forth every weekend for almost two months then the camera originally costs. Unfortunately they can't help you with any problems unless your at the camera.

      @@Spypoint I sent a PM shortly after this message and added my email. Still haven't heard anything. I had to drive the 4 hour trip again last weekend for more troubleshooting and needed a replacement for the replacement camera as the lighting and color was messed up in the pics. The other Flex_s still doesn't charge and the GPS still thinks its in two places. I was told you guys did something to it on Saturday and to give it 24 hours and it should be good. I called in today as I was busy and they want me to drive back again. As I did the warranty proses thinking they would fix the problems I cant return the cameras and a supervisor wont get on the phone. I just want two working cameras with no problems that i paid for. its a joke!

    DO not buy they have horrible non english speaking customer support who refuse to send your issue to a higher level support. The answer for everything is to change batteries and sd card

    Cannot get the dark flash to work. Daylight is fine. Customer service keeps sending me link to reformat the camera. Worthless ready to throw it in the river.

    The Flex-S is junk. I have 2 of them that stop communicating. The longest I’ve had one communicate is 2 days before going dark, the shortest was 30 minutes.
    It doesn’t matter what I do, they find a way to stop communicating.
    I have multiple G-36s that have been running for weeks, flawlessly so far though.

    With the flex s will the battery charge even if it's not facing the sun ,because u won't get good pictures facing south,? Or does it charge regardless?

      Hi Fred, The FLEX-S using the internal battery, getting a minimum of 4 hours of daily direct sunlight, along with 8AA lithium battery backup is capable of providing you season-long power autonomy. battery life is greatly dependent on photos taken, transfer frequency, signal strength and other environmental conditions.

      I just bought two Flex-S. I never had batteries do dead on my Link-S cameras, so I believer the system should work great on the Flex.

      I have 2 and they haven't charge 1%. It's on the edge of a farm feild and gets more then 4 hours sunlight
      a day.

    Do not buy this camera. I have not talked to anyone that has this camera that can use it. The batteries won’t stay charged. I spent 4 hours on a chat with the joke they call customer service and was told it was a firmware problem that they were aware of. I paid for one year $120 of premium service that I will not get back. The retailer that I bought it from said it is the worst camera they have. I hope I wasn’t unclear on how unhappy I am and what a piece of junk this camera is. The only good part is Academy Sports gave me my money back so I could get a different brand.
